“My son and daughter-in-law treated me to a visit to Chatsworth House, followed by Afternoon Tea at The Cavendish for my birthday - both were fabulous, and I thoroughly enjoyed both experiences. The Cavendish Restaurant is gorgeously decorated, the food was delicious, and service was excellent. I had the vegetarian option, and was really impressed with the quality and flavours. My son and daughter-in-law also enjoyed their non vegetarian afternoon tea. There was plenty of food, in fact there was so much we ended up taking some home with us. Wonderful dining experience and I would highly recommend booking here.”

“Had a meal here with my family recently, it must have been a couple years since my last visit. I'm pleased to say that the food and service were excellent. We had the beef chilli nachos as a sharing starter, followed by a shredded beef enchilada, grilled lamb chops, chicken burrito bowl and a chicken quesadilla. All the dishes were well made and served in a reasonable time scale by friendly staff. The premises are quite spacious and we managed to get a suitable table for 5 people which included 2 children. My only slight criticism would be the music being played was a little bit too loud, otherwise a nice experience.”

“We go on a regular basis, we have big family birthday meals there & every time it’s been fantastic. There’s a lovely young lady, usually behind the bar & we often like to wonder what colour her hair will be! We always feel welcomed and have a lovely time. Prices are very reasonable & the food is generally spot on. Would recommend.”

“Having a relative in the hospital up the road, finding this pub was a godsend. Excellent menu choice and unbelievable value for money. I can highly recommend the fish and chips, Gammon and the Surf and turf. Portions are spot on and the price is great. What makes the pub though are the staff. They make you feel like a regular as you order your first drink. Even though I live over 20 miles away I will make a point of continuing to visit this pub and work my way through the menu!”

“Was told of this restaurant by my son, passed expectations. Enjoyed the Wednesday Special. We started with poppadoms, starters were goats cheese and fish pakoras, the best we've ever had. My wife had a chicken madras I had my usual choice lamb passanda, paid an extra £1, the both were excellent, the nan breads were perfect, after which we were stuffed, we declined the sweet and coffee. Wine price was reasonable too. Well worth the money.”

“This was the most authentic pizza I have had to date in Sheffield. Little Dough absolutely nailed the dough and tomato base, with great presentation and professional packaging. It was light and not stodgy at all, which is often what separates great pizzas from good ones. The basil on The Margherita was a nice touch, infusing the scent into each bite. I also purchased the Dough Balls, which also shared the same high quality texture as the pizza dough. Well worth the money for what I received.”

“First time order from here and it was great. Even though we live a little out of the way delivery time was as fast as they could. Fantastic Chinese, nice food, ordered alot of different things but everything was spot on. Will be definitely be ordering again and maybe our go to Chinese moving forward.”

“Having not been in for a long time my children went today and ordered 2 chicken burgers and they liked them so much they have told me I have to only get them from here now. So later in the evening my wife wanted a chicken burger so I went and got one she said it is very nice and the chicken burgers are a good size and very tasty. And in relation to the shop it is looking a lot nicer now the overhead menu is gone and the owner is very friendly even the delivery driver is polite and always asks how you are. Also when I was in there tonight there was a pizza that had just been cooked and it looked very nice.”

“We usually go elsewhere for our family treat but stumbled across this little place by accident and we're glad we did! Everything we've had so far has been absolutely delicious...hot, fresh, fragrant and not at all greasy...even the water chestnuts taste good!! Tender & well seasoned meat, fresh crunchy vegetables and the rice and noodles are always beautifully cooked. Well done Oriental!!”

Today I ordered the nihari, which I wasn’t expecting much as it’s a dish that takes ours to cook properly, the meat fell off the bone, was cooked and spiced perfectly, would have liked it slightly thicker, but that’s preference. Will be my go too from now on”

“We had a midweek wedding reception in the upstairs area. Charlotte was great throughout and very responsive to emails which helped with the planning/organising. She was also happy for us to reorganise the tables and provide our own decorations. The buffet was great and good value for money. It was a quieter atmosphere to what you may have a the weekend, but this fit in perfectly with what we wanted. All the staff were friendly and helpful throughout the day, adding to a perfect day for us!”

“Welcoming classic country pub. Good choice of real ales including the local brewery Chantry. The menu has what you'd expect but with some more interesting dishes. My generous all-day breakfast was excellent, nice ingredients and properly cooked. Wholeheartedly recommended.”
