“The fish was delicious, but the chips could use some improvement. Mine had a few inedible brown or black pieces. That being said, I absolutely loved my fish! This is a very clean fish and chips shop, and the online ordering process is straightforward and convenient. They don’t accept cash, but they do have a card machine for payments, which makes things easy. Ordering online is probably the best option for both the customer and the shop. If I’m craving fish and chips, this is my go-to place—unless I’m away from Dronfield! :) It would be even better if the meal deals included drinks as well”

“We moved to Chesterfield about 5 years ago and it took a while to find dependable quality takeaways. My daughter recommended Golden Star and since then we've only ordered from them if possible. This evening we ordered a 'small' meal for two, with the full intention of having leftovers for tomorrow. It was quite honestly the nicest Chinese takeaway that we have ever had. The food arrived quickly, piping hot, and cooked to perfection. I am already looking forward totomorrow's supper.”

“I've tried pretty much everything on the menu except from chicken, kebabs and burgers but the pizza is so good as well as the garlic bread, so is the cheesy chips even though the small cheesy chips and large cheesy chips are the exact same portion as when i ordered them it was the exact same size and portion. The chocolate cake is really good and i think its all a fair price for the pizza and garlic bread. the service is very quick and same with delivery but the staff aren't so cheerfully they are very quiet and just get on with the job which i cant complain about as they serve good food”
