“Had a lovely visit here- the food was really lovely and the service was excellent. I Had the Steak and Cajun and despite a small issue with my meal, which was sorted as quickly as possible by the wonderful lady serving us- really really enjoyed the food :). The atmosphere is lovely- the pub was pretty full, but we didn't feel like we'd been squeezed in like you do in some pubs. All the staff on sight were polite and very welcoming, I would definitely recommend the Countryman to anybody.”

“Handy chippy close to my work, been a couple of times and the food has been really good. Always busy when I’ve been in, but you get served relatively quickly. Their menu is pretty varied as you would expect from a chippy nowadays, so if you are wanting a kebab or fried chicken instead that’s also available.”

“Wow! Lovely meal just now. This was the best meal weve had there, the papadum sauces were different to what we had last time, my peshawar nan was stuffed full and I recommend the king prawn jinga. Beautiful. Saaj is a lovely bloke and all the staff were nice too. I have been here multiple times over probably 20 years and that must say something about the place. It's been around forever and for good reason”

“I had a great meal here. We went on a Monday night, the service was quick and Raj was very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and there were lots of vegetarian options. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are good, there is the option to do takeaway if you have leftovers. I would recommend this restaurant, and eating at the restaurant for a relaxed but proper dining experience.”
