“I have not felt this comfortable having my haircut in years (and that's double figures) I am thinning on top which makes me feel anxious & embarrassed Gemma was completely understanding of my feelings & explained she offers a hair replacement system that gives you a full head of hair which I was extremely interested in I opted for a shampoo before my cut which was incredibly relaxing (you are fully laid flat) I think if we wouldn't have been chatting I would have drifted off Couldn't be happier with my haircut other than having the hair replacement system done, the atmosphere of the barbers is chilled out & the decor is cool A*****”
“I went there initially today to buy some pedals for a bike, then I could not get my car boot open. One person helped me open my boot for free and then another put pedals on the bike for free. I thought it was very good of them, Thank you very much to both of you. i really appreciate it.”
“Excellent as always. Delivery slot given, tracking updates and friendly delivery man Warren. Ross in the office very helpful, would definitely recommend as the building merchant to use.”
“The bloke I spoke to on the phone was very helpful, the website was easy to use and the tool arrived the next day. 5 star service and I’d happily use them again.”
“Excellent service from these guys from start to finish. We've have uniforms from them in the past and recently had our signage done by them. They provided just what we wanted and needed, plus are always super friendly and helpful. Great job guys! We'd definitely recommend them.”
“Sam has done an expert weight reduction and regeneration job on my son's bat (see before and after). His passion for cricket, bats and knowledge shines through with sound advice and great customer service and fair prices. A great local business. Thoroughly recommended.”
“Top chap. Always happy to help and has even sent me out a clearing rod for my Martini at his own expense. Looking forward to dropping by to his shop soon and checking out the stock and will be very happy to trade with Dan.”
“Very helpful and more than decent prices. Surprisingly large range of products as well.”
“My son and I took part in a try dive session. The experience was amazing and we both loved it. All the club members were really helpful and friendly and put us at ease. They looked after us really well. Great kit available and excellent facilities. Would recommend and hopefully we'll be able to do some more diving in the future.”

“Great shop.. friendly and knowledgeable staff”
“Absolutely the best service and competitively priced. Staff are welcoming and attentive even when the shop is busy. Staff listened to my needs and offered appropriate suggestions, putting in the extra effort to ensure the product was set up correctly and fitted. Genuinely the best shooting shop in the area.”
“We had sized the clothes up at school best when they arrived the trousers did not fit . Contacted company and they were really helpful, sent new trousers out straight away at no extra cost . The quality of the coat and jacket was great and daughter said they were comfortable to wear and really warm . Great clothes and great service .”
“Stellar divers, I have now completed 3 PADI diving courses with the team . All the instructors are very knowledgeable and make you feel confident and comfortable during all dives. I am looking at booking my next course and I am really looking forward to it. Hotch and the team really are "Stellar" at what they do and I cannot give high enough praise at their professional approach to making each course as good as the last!”
“Always a warm welcome from lovely friendly folk who are so knowledgeable and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. An establishment so well worth the trip and definitely worth more than 5*”

“Chores and Challenges - the best way to get stuck into a real adventure with pupils I have recently returned from an incredible school trip with Water by Nature (c/o Hamish McMaster). We had booked a week of rafting down the Ahansal River in the lower Atlas mountains, as well as a little hiking and a cookery class in Marrakech. Seven curious adventurers signed up to come and do something completely different during their Easter break. Within minutes of setting off with Hamish we were all assigned chores and tasks which engaged and entertained us for the entire week. Each one, however small or challenging, was essential to our adventure unfolding. There was little time to debate or argue and Hamish dusted all his directives with much humour, great stories and loads of positive affirmation. 'Help me carry the raft frame from the trailer to the river's edge please and then together we can attach it to the raft. I shall show you how to use these tie-downs properly. Can you please make us all sandwhiches for our journey today - everything you need is in the cooler box. Tents need to go up, could you both crack on with that - doing it pairs always makes the job go quicker and is more fun. I need you to fetch water, filter it through that muslin bag and then put it through the purifier to fill that container - everyone will need fresh water for tonight, so your job is really important'. There was always a hive of activity that was varied, valued and important. In our 'efficiency' we left behind the whole box of cutlery at our base way below our start point on the river. Hours later, preparing dinner, we realised what had happened. After a pause and a raised eyebrow one of our pupils broke the silence and said 'I am off to make myself a fork to eat my dinner'. Great hilarity washed over dinner as we ate with our home-made mishapened wooden forks and used our one and only chopping knife to dish up hot cholocate into our mugs. While passing through a very remote village later, we bought some cheap knives and spoons that only bent and broke thoughout the rest of our trip - prooving they were superfluous. We had the joy of having a 'forkless' trip and can proudly say that they are actually an over-rated utensil on a real expedition! I observed our young adventurers busy and active for that entire week. Each person was important and an essential part of the team. It provided space to have good chats while doing chores, as well as being able to give gratitude to one another for contributing to our trip unfolding. Even when mistakes were made, everyone quickly became problem solvers. Hamish, and his terrific sense of humour, meant our adventure was not only great fun but also a direct outcome of active, continuous participation, cooperation and collaboration.”
“Amazing local family ski shop. Abbie was very helpful in picking the best ski equipment for me. Never pushy or trying to upsell - gave me a nice discount for buying multiple items. 10/10 recommend! Will be back for more gear soon!”
“Absolutely amazing if you love all things medieval an fantasy. Got a love new buckler and dagger from them, and the lady working was very friendly and willing to have a good chat. It's now my go-to if im ever in need of historical equipment. 10/10”
“Prior to coming here I had taken my Dewalt core drill to another repair shop (Turner Hire) and the man behind the counter wasted 20 - 30 minutes of my time telling me how my drill wasn’t any good and how difficult it would be and a headache to replace the chuck, he told me it wouldn’t be worth it to fix and that I wouldn’t get it back for about 4-5 weeks. I called here and spoke to the gentleman and was told to bring it in for inspection, he told me how much it would cost give or take on the day to fix. I asked him if it would be an issue to replace my chuck and he replied “I haven’t failed to take one off yet” It was a nice relief the great attitude and customer service compared to the previous shop I had been to. I don’t really write reviews but on this occasion I couldn’t be more happier as I received my drill 3/4 days later. I have used the drill and it works like new and the price was more than reasonable what I paid to have it fixed. He made it clear that if the drill wasn’t worth repairing he’d let me know before he did anything to it. Couldn’t recommend these guys enough. Thank you.”
“I bought my travel system, nursery furniture, Moses basket and so much more from this shop. The staff we're so lovely and helpful everytime I visited, they spent a fair amount of time answering my many first time mum questions and recommended some really fantastic products. Staff helped install the carseat and all the big items were only delivered when we wanted and our nursery was ready. I'd recommend this store to anyone.”
“Today was my sons 12th birthday party at Laser Labyrinth. Staff were very friendly and helpful, food was spot on, the party room is a lovely space, and the laser activity was a big hit. Overall a great day, would highly recommend!!”
“Had all but given up on my old vengeance, thought it had bit the dust, was torn between buying a new bike or getting the old one fixed. Sarah suggested I bring it in for a health check, which I did. All done while I was there, conclusion was my bike wasn’t that bad and just needed some TLC. Booked the bike in for a service, a few things replace and others tweaked by I believe Annie, the bike rides like brand new and didn’t cost anywhere near the price of a new bike! Wish I had taken before and after photos.”
“Well stocked, good prices, friendly staff. No point in driving halfway through the city when you can get what you need in the local hardware store.”
“MOT specialists. Had my MOT done today by Haroon. Excellent & detailed service. Would recommend anybody to get their M.O.T done here!”
“Had several items from here and always had a good service & choice. Had some heavy items (which we had delivered) and the drivers were pleasant and helpful too.”
“Having moved recently into the area , I've used this particular store a few times now . All the staff is extremely friendly and helpful . But I would like to mention one member of staff particularly . Dave , the duty manager was an absolute gem in helping me choose the correct items ( which wasn't an easy task ) . I had to return within the hour , realising that the given screws were too long to use . Dave then took it upon himself to take a hacksaw and saw the screws to the correct length . Thank you so much . I will definitely always use this store and can recommend it .”
