“Loved our stay here. The house is beautiful and so unique, loved the decor. We stayed in the superior king room. The owners are lovely and their dogs are very well behaved and friendly. Breakfast was nice too. There's a town within walking distance to go out for food and drinks. If we're ever back in Mansfield we'd definitely stay here again.”

“I would highly recommend staying here. Graham and Hilary were very welcoming providing suggestions for places to eat before we arrived. There was a large choice for breakfast which was preordered. The bedroom had drinks and biscuits available and there was a downstairs sitting room for guests. It was very quiet and we had an excellent nights sleep. “If you like Italian food,then you don't need to look any further than here. We booked a very early evening time slot on a saturday evening for 5.00pm. Thinking we would get there before the crowds. How wrong can you be? The car park was almost full. This is no more a hidden gem. It's shining in the spotlight and so pleased to see them doing so well. This is one of those very rare restaurants, where if you can't choose what to order you could just leave up to the chef to decide for you. The food is all so fresh and absolutely delicious. Even though they were busy,the service was spot on and friendly. Staff are totally on the ball and constantly checking on every table. If you are going to go,make sure you book!”

“Went to look for a new sofa at Eyers and called in at Poppys for a coffee on the way out. Caught a glimpse of someone else's breakfast and just had to have the same. Have to say it was maybe possibly the best full English I have ever had. Cooked to perfection and fabulous quality. Service was very good and I would definitely recommend to all you full English fans.”

The staff were extremely friendly and allowed us to feed the cats with provided food/ treats. Good coffee too - vegan options for cakes but I did not get the chance to try these.”

Great selection of real ales, which apparently changes on a regular basis. Just sandwiches/light bites for food. Great decor. Friendly bar chap. Tucked away just at the back of the market square, so plenty of town carparks nearby. Will most definitely visit again.”

“We booked the venue for a family meal. We live nowhere near, but the reviews were very encouraging and food pics really enticing. Well we were very happy customers. From the welcoming atmosphere, the friendly and engaging staff, the prompt but not rushed service and the fantastic food. All pics were a true reflection on what we received. Portions were great, flavours and presentation. The prices were very reasonable too. Oh, trust me, don't miss desert...... Great portions and tasty... Go, eat, drink and enjoy.....”
