“MANY YEARS My whole family before, dad and husband - now my son uses the services. They were always satisfied and to be caressed. Friendly service! Even if grandfather didn't use English, he always had what he wanted. Recommend it to anyone who is still wondering. Will certainly not regret it. From a child to a grandfather!!! 100% of recommendations!!!!”
“Called in mid morning for coffee, good selection for gluten free, scones were excellent”
“Always love coming to peppermint! The girls are excellent at what they do! I came for microneedling recently and found my acne scars had improved even after one treatment so have booked in for another session.”
“This is an excellent place to find just the right suit, blazer, and attire for a modern gentleman, with also an alternative spin. I "popped in " looking for a suit, and with their excellent advice, help and patience (with me took a bit bless em) got a cracking jacket waistcoat, cap, etc, which I absolutely love. It has been a while since I have felt...ME... this has helped. Thank you, guys.. I know this is said a lot, but... I don't review often, but on this occasion, it's worth it. Great insight, knowledge, expertise and customer experience seldom seen these days!! I will be back!! Which is not a .mean feat as I live on the South Coast.. but so worth it!!”
“We hired Tickhill Alpacas for our Wedding in August 2025 and they truly made it a special day. Alan and Lenny stole the show and all our guests loved them! If you are looking for something unique and special, I would highly recommend hiring them for your special day. Karen organised every detail we required and Dean was on hand on the day with any questions anyone had about the Alpacas. A great experience all round!”
“We loved our stay here! The lady Laura was fantastic as we arrived slightly late as the walk we were on took longer than anticipated, when we rang she told us not to panic and she'd let us in still, and to travel safely which was lovely. The pod was very clean and tidy on arrival, mugs and hot drinks on a little table. The bed was very comfy and there was heating in the pod which made it warm and cosy. I just wished we could have stayed longer here! We will be back!!!”
“Went to look for a new sofa at Eyers and called in at Poppys for a coffee on the way out. Caught a glimpse of someone else's breakfast and just had to have the same. Have to say it was maybe possibly the best full English I have ever had. Cooked to perfection and fabulous quality. Service was very good and I would definitely recommend to all you full English fans.”
“What a fabulous little place !! We only stopped for a quick drink, late afternoon, so can't comment on evenings here, but we loved the place. Great selection of real ales, which apparently changes on a regular basis. Just sandwiches/light bites for food. Great decor. Friendly bar chap. Tucked away just at the back of the market square, so plenty of town carparks nearby. Will most definitely visit again.”
“Second time went to Tony's for a haircut, I forgot to leave a review for the first time, and what he does isn't just a haircut or a shave. It's art, and he's without a doubt one of the best Artists I've ever met.”
“Nelly loved her first visit to Cafe Nellie. The hot chocolates were so nice and the staff were so lovely and accommodating. Will definitely be back.”
“Just had a BLT on granary ( the absolutely best I've ever had) .fantastic sandwich shop with lovely staff.”
“I Have been renewing all my family Nadra cards since last 8 years. Mohsin has corrected all the mess which Bradford consulate created with our cards. These guys make you satisfied and are very hospitable as well. Thank you to all the team for serving us with love and care.”
“Best shop in mansfield for alternative wear. shop never disappoints. Greats brands load of options for piercing and cloths. Love coming in and having a natty with the all who work there. Very friendly and welcoming.”
“Lovely day out at xmas. The house is beautifully decorated with all 47 trees. Especially loved the enchanted woodland theme with the fairies this year. The light projection onto the house was beautiful too. Only niggle is the two way route past the rockery for the light trail.”
“Well worth a visit. We took our dog with us and she enjoyed it too. Staff were friendly and there is a place to get a hot drink and a snack.”
“A lovely day out . We had spent the weekend in Matlock Bath. A truly lovely place to visit. The tramway village is only approximately 6miles away. It's like stepping back in time . Along with many trams on display, there are some you travel on along a track. An old fashioned sweetshop and pub . There's a cafe serving food . Sadly the country walk got to by the tram was closed due to the bad weather. Tickets are valid for 12 months so hopefully will go back in the summer months”
“I walked in and was instantly blown away by the brilliant atmosphere. I ordered a cappuccino and there was little waiting time. The prices are brilliant alongside the cups the coffee come in. Upon getting my coffee, I noticed it was really smooth which, in my opinion, is a good sign. I do recommend coming here if given the chance.”
“We have had such a magical morning, it has been amazing. The people are what help to make the magic come alive and make it so welcoming with unique spell and interactions as well as the beautifully decorated rooms and shop. The food is delicious and magically presented as well as the wide range of drinks available. There is also a few vegan and gluten free options for those that need it too. We also had chance to watch the breath taking owl show with some wonderful facts about each performer. The craft options are also beautiful and engaging throughout the whole process and you can take as much or little time as you would like. As for the location you cant miss the purple building with easy parking behind it on the raised car park.”
“A nice, small theatre venue with good views from most seats. We visited to watch a show and had no issues with our seats in Row P. The bar prices were reasonable and that staff were friendly when showing us to our seats. I would visit this theatre again if they had a production I wanted to see.”
“Such a great place even in the rain! There were a couple of animals like the armadillos that weren’t there which was a shame but overall it was a great place for all ages. We got soaking on the tractor ride which was a lot of fun but as it’s right next to the butterfly house we just went in there to dry off. I can’t fault the staff they were all lovely and because it had rained for most of the our visit you could go back into the office before you left and get vouchers to return for free.”
“Again another amazing day trip with the family amazing animals and this time was a theme park rides One of the best day out I've had in a long time”
“Really nice park to go and relax look about have some chill time! Tennis facilities if you are into this but an amazing park with ducks to feed in the pond!! Sheffield’s Central Park!”
“Very nice visit despite a little drizzle. Woodlands, a lake walk, more formal gardens. Very pretty and quiet apart from birdsong. Clean toilets, cafe with breakfast and lunch menus, hot and cold food and drink, small museum and room with information about the family, shop.”
“Bit of an awkward drive (if you are coming from out of Sheffield /m1) -but worth it. It was a lovely farm, felt nourished we had a fantastic time. Was lovely seeing the Guinea pigs looked after and loads of space to roam.”
“We went to Hardwick Hall recently for the Christmas experience and it was really good. We really enjoyed it. I’ve visited a long time ago and each time it has been kept in a really good condition. The grounds are really lovely and the shop and café really nice. They had a little coffee van out as well this time and it was really nice too. It was absolutely tipping it down with rain but that still didn’t stop us from having a good time. There was also a guide there who answered my questions about some of the history, she was energetic and it was great to meet someone so passionate about the history of the place. Would definitely recommend for anyone of any age, but bring an umbrella if you think it might rain, unless you’re happy to run inside the hall!”
“Beautiful place! Very easy walk. All dogs should be on leads but quite a few people were not following this rule.”
“Wonderful day out,an incredible place stunning walks through woodland, along the meandering river, beautiful water rills, lots of things going on for youngsters, bike hire available from trundle bikes to adults. The historical grand house sadly is no longer standing but the history is mind blowing. The walled garden and greenhouse is fantastic and you can actually buy some of the produce at the entrance to the walled garden. We thoroughly enjoyed our day.”
“Went with my partner to the wine tasting we ith z set menu absolutely loved it, fantastic service from the waitress and waiter my partner got on really well with Danny, same daft sense of humour, he told us he's finishing the course soon and has a permanent job. I'm already looking to book again Return visit for Burns night serviced by Collin and Cody again excellent service nothing to much trouble, excellent meal very difficult to choose will be booking again.”
“Nice walk around the well maintained park, cafe on site with a play park for the little ones. Parking at the bottom of the hill to walk through the gardens is free ans has ample spaces and there is also a mini golf course on site. Toilets could do with cleaning more regularly but at least they're there!”
“Me and my partner visited on Friday morning while we were on holiday in the area, and I think we honestly could have spent all day there! As you walk in, the shop has a great selection of food and gifts, with a lovely seated area in the actual cafe. We sat by the window to take in the view of the river, and of all the birds on the feeders outside. The food was absolutely amazing, and everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Already looking for an excuse to revisit!”
