βWe ordered pizza for the first time from the new takeaway pizza shop. It was really fresh and delicious pizza. We ordered five different pizza and all was great.β
βVisited for a networking event and absolutely loved it! Super friendly team and loads of things to do, will definitely be back!β
βNice place with beautiful scenery, fabulous food, and lovely people as well!! Thanks so much for a nice time! Highly recommend!β
βWe had an excellent Sunday lunch at Waterloo Arms. The roast was delicious! The pub is traditional and a lovely setting. Also reasonably priced. Highly recommend.β
βLovely, clean and quiet little place to eat locally in Woolston. Definitely worth supporting the Small Business in this case as the visit was WELL WORTH IT. My daughter and I loved this visit and enjoyed fabulous food that was prepared in good time and brought to our table with a friendly smiley service. Recommend: Mango smoothie Cappuccino Omelettes with choice of fillings. Cheese, bacon and sausage was a real it. Definitely coming here again!! (4/5 stars only because they had an out of tuning radio station playing with more hiss than music, which became mildly irritating)β
βI only went to this establishment because my friend Sam works there, and as always his service was amazing. However I stayed and returned for the burgers. The burger sauce they use is honestly the best one I've ever had and it brings the burgers to the next level. I don't live nearby and I spend an unhealthy amount of time thinking about the burgers. The atmosphere and service are 10/10, they're quick and the food gets to you speedy and steaming.β
βCame for a friendβs birthday and did bottomless brunch. Food was wonderful, drinks were amazing and service was even better. Beth made sure the drinks were flowing, absolutely fantastic service, thank you! We had a great day!β
βAmazing from start to finish! Our waitress,, Elena (not sure Iβve got her name right!) was absolutely delightful, nothing was too much trouble, even clearing up my eggy mess for me!! I had the full breakfast which was cooked to perfection with an apple juice and coffee. 10/10 highly recommended!β
βThis was our first visit to Wagamama, and after six days in Bournemouth and trying many other restaurants, it was by far the best. We ordered two ramens, gyozas, buns, chicken katsu curry, and drinks β everything was absolutely delicious. The service was friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere was great. Weβll definitely be coming back!β
βLovely setting for lunch. We sat outside and watched the world go by. The waitress was lovely and really helpful. They had a separate vegan and vegetarian menu with plenty of choice. The food was delicious, so were the cocktails.β
βFamily of 4 went for a Sunday roast after doing one of the Ambling Path walks around the area. Was really lovely, huge roast dinners and my son had macaroni cheese from the kids menu. Out kids are 11 and 8 and the kids meals were plenty big enough and really good value. Staff were friendly and the garden and play area outside are stunning. Good value for money too, we will definitely be back β€οΈβ
βWe decided to pop out for an unscheduled dinner outβ¦ Our server was Hannah H and she was superb! Very friendly, helpful and efficient! Our food was lovely and arrived promptly. All in all a fantastic experience, thank you!β
βGreat food with amazing service. Every single staff member had a smile on their face. They were all very kind and helpful even recommending some items to try on the menu. All the food was perfect. The batter was lovely and crispy. The chips were hot and fresh. The curry sauce was lovely. And the fish cakes and pies were absolutely delicious. Highly recommend. Prices were cheap and the food was more than worth the value. Again the staff were super.β
βWonderful pub. Lovely and very friendly staff. Food is superb. Steak pie the best I have ever had. Will go back again.β
βBrilliant food, great service! Reasonably priced with good sized portions, the food came quickly and all together. Veggy curry was lush, and the pie of the day was really good too. They also had live music which was a really nice addition.β
βMy wife and I have dined at Tiien several times and the food has always been fresh and tasty. Last night we went to celebrate my wife's birthday and without asking they brought out a lovely banana fritter desert for us. This was a very pleasant surprise! We had a great laugh with the older waiter who joked about how young she looked and how old I looked! (73yr) All the staff are friendly but you need to engage with them and they will join in and laugh with you. An excellent evening and highly recommend.β
βCiao Belli is a cozy and very pleasant place with an Italian atmosphere. The coffee is delicious and aromatic - it's clear that they really care about quality here. The pastries are delicious, with a crispy crust, perfect for coffee. The place is small, but stylish and comfortable - great for both conversations and a quiet break alone. The staff is friendly, the service is fast and attentive. I will definitely come back again!β
βThe Gaff Rigger at Mercury Yacht Harbour is a gem on the edge of the Hamble River! I love the welcoming vibe β it's the perfect spot to drop by anytime, whether you're solo or with friends. They serve everything from coffee and breakfast to afternoon tea, lunch, dinner, and even just drinks. The flexibility in their menu really caters to any appetite. The bar area is fantastic for unwinding, with good wifi and a great selection of nibbles to go with your drink. The atmosphere is casual yet stylish, creating a relaxing environment for enjoying food and drink. The waterfront marina location is stunning, with options for both indoor and al fresco dining. A special shoutout to our waitress, Samantha, and waiter, Ruben, who were incredibly friendly and kind. Their excellent service made our visit even better. And the food β absolutely delicious! Highly recommend checking out The Gaff Rigger. Itβs a delightful spot with a lovely atmosphere and great service.β
βI went to the Absolutely Dragulous Bottomless Brunch and had such an amazing time! The staff were so friendly and helpful, making sure we had plenty of water and drinks served regularly. Definitely worth it! Fred was particularly amazing, he stayed positive throughout the day!!β
βForgot to take photos of everything that we ate because they were gone in seconds. We enjoyed every bite. Everything was so nice - coffee, English breakfast, burger, cake! We stayed in the farm lodges for a couple of nights and the cafe is the best part of this farm for us - Charlie, the manager and the staff are all amazing. Thank you, Charlie for such a warm welcome. Thank you for all the cuddles you gave our dog - also a Charlie :)β
βChristmas Day lunch here. Expensive as you would expect on such an occasion but delicious and well worth it.β
βI work come here to start work and I was very nervous but when coming here I felt welcomed and the staff here were very nice and welcoming and kind and friendly and when serving customers I could see that the staff made good connections and community with the customers here at royal fish bar. The staff here are very kind and helpful to the people who come in a order and have very well spoken simple manners like: have a good day, see you late thank you, how are you, and simple things like these and they seem to grow a connection with each and every loyal customer and have conversations abt there lifes which is nice because a lot of other places donβt do this itβs a great community. I also personally beileve the prices of there food were really good as most fish and chips shops I have been in have been much more expensive for there fish and there other foods but when I saw the prices on this one I was quite surprised. Now on to the food I quite love there food here Iβm not even going to lie itβs really good and when bringing it home to my parents who donβt love fish and chips they very much liked this one and my grandparents also loved there food when I bought home some food for them to. So everyone should come in and eat food from our amazing royal fish bar :).β
βI got a warm welcome even when it's about to close. Sparkling is very fizzy. And waiting for food not so long, quick, warm and tasty.β

βOn our way home from a stay in Bournemouth,we decided to make a pitt stop. It took just over 40mins to get here, navigating through the village of Lyndhurst and numerous wild ponies. The hotel and surroundings are magnificent with views of the New Forest as far as the eye can see. But as impressive it all is,we are not here for that. We are here for the food of Hartnett Holder & Co. Angela Hartnett & Luke Holder are in charge of the kitchen here, serving Italian influenced dishes. As we were early we managed to get seated on the terrace in the glorious sunshine with our doggies. While admiring the surroundings a member of staff brought out a bowl of olives and nuts. We ordered a couple of zero alcohol Erdinger beers Β£11.(driving). Menu wise, there was a choice between the bar, a set lunch and an A la Carte. We chose from the bar menu. Risotto Milanese Β£16 Saffron infused, aged parmesan & butter. Spaghetti Bolognese Β£15 Somerset Saxon Chicken Milanese Β£20 Lemon, parmesan & rocket. Cornish Fish Β£30 Tenderstem broccoli, lemon & green leaves. Chips Skinnies Β£7 Although we were full,we could not leave until we tried the Tiramisu Β£15. Everything we had was just as expected. Simple dishes, beautifully executed and full of flavour. With lots of parmesan to add. We didn't get to see much of the inside of the house as doggies are not allowed in. Hence that's the reason we dined outside. But we did get first class service and enjoyed every minute of our visit. Thank goodness the weather was on our side.β
βOutstanding food. There was a dedicated vegan menu and we were blown away by all three courses. Service was perfect; friendly and attentive but not intrusive.β
