“Staying in a hotel in Hanley for work. Had a walk to this place on my own a couple of nights. Good selection of craft beers to choose from, on draft and in chilled cans. There were also cask and draft cider options. When I visited there were 7 craft beers available including pilsner, IPA, sour and stout. Good selection of music on too, punk, grunge rock. Patrons and staff were friendly and welcoming, the venue is has a calm relaxed atmosphere. Come and support this local business!”
“1st visit here today. Lovely homely pub and nicely decorated too. Staff are friendly and food was home cooked and really lovely too. Well priced and a nice place for a bite to eat.”
“Enjoyed a great concert at this quirky venue. We saw Spizz Energi. The sound was great, and we thoroughly enjoyed it.”
“I haven't been here in years despite living just along the road. But one night i was drawn in and stayed. Great staff, lovely selection of none standard pub drinks. Will definitely be back”
“Always a friendly atmosphere. A good range of beers available including plenty of choice from their gin collection. Always happy to provide help and advice with drinks and mixers.”
“Lovely cafe with great atmosphere, tasty food and coffee expertly brewed and served. Highly recommend it. Leek is a Quainton and beautiful town as well. A group of 6 of us were accommodated for lunch by friendly staff and really enjoyed it!”
“I found this place through Google review search. We arrived and was told they could not accommodate 4 of us inside. A very helpful lady sorted us out with a nice table right in the centre of the pub. We ordered and waited for a short time . We were not prepared for the portion size, we had fish, pie and chips, sausage and mash and the half rack of ribs. The ribs I swear came of the biggest pig in the peak District. Every thing was fresh hot and tasteful. It was amazing, I would not drive past this place. It is the real deal. After a day on the peaks this is the place for amazing atmosphere great fresh local tasteful food.”
“We phoned 15 minutes before arrival and luckily were offered a table for 4 plus our dog. The staff were lovely and very attentive and the food was very tasty, especially the chocolate cheesecake. There was a really good selection of beers, wines and soft drinks. Some patrons were a bit loud but they weren’t there all the time so it was fine. It was a delightful surprise find.”
“Camr on pizza night, the pizzas were incredibly good and the staff friendly and welcoming.”
“Went in a few months ago after the new landlords took over and what a great job they have done friendly staff and great atmosphere. Kirsty and Patrick aways give us a warm welcome”
“Quaint little pub on the top of a hill, only a little hill but still a hill. Had a cosy log fire, the beer was great and the dog seemed to approve so all good from us”

“Absolutely wonderful little place! Rooms are spotless, comfy beds beautiful furnishings. There’s a great atmosphere in the pub-they have live music on & various events throughout the year. But the best part of this place is definitely the staff-Landlord is very knowledgeable and friendly, bar staff extremely polite and helpful. Great sense of community throughout, it really is a fantastic place, we will definitely return. Thank you for a fab stay!”
“Welcoming safe pub especially for females entering on their own. Bar staff are excellent and a good variety of alcoholic drinks and bar snacks. Jukebox is brilliant.”
“Busy, friendly pub with a really good Indian restaurant onsite. I tried two dishes I'd never heard of and they were delicious.”

“The most friendliest pub I've ever been to. Great ale and fantastic food!!”
“Always been a great bar with great service and a wide selection of quality drinks but yesterday we hired the whole place for grandsons christening 120 people and I must say the service we received from Ben & his team was outstanding from start to finish, they had 3 bar staff on duty and they were none stop from the minute 120 of us walked through the door until we left, not once did you have to wait for a drink & we rang earlier in the week to see if they sold gluten free beer as I have celiac disease, to my amazement they had got a gluten free beer in especially which was the best gf beer I’ve ever had, very rare to find it in draft (which is like a restaurant not selling vegetarian food) but thanks to Ben & his team I could enjoy a decent drink. Thanks for everything guys!”
“Stayed here on 30th August. What a lovely hotel. Room was great. Hotel owners was friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again. Wish we could have stayed an extra night”
“I had a great time at Riminis Cafe in Crewe. The restaurant has an interesting design and decoration with Turkish elements, such as carpets, cushions, lanterns, and paintings. The staff are nice and friendly, and they make you feel welcome. I ordered the Mixed Grill, which is a collection of all delicious Turkish grill items, such as lamb adana kebabs, chicken adana kebab, lamb shish and more. The food was fresh, hot, and tasty. I also tried the Falafel, which was different from the classic falafel I usually have. It was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with a nice flavour of herbs and spices. I loved it even more with the Turkish chili sauce that came with it. The portions were generous and the prices were reasonable. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves Turkish food or wants to try something new. Riminis Cafe is one of my favourite places to eat in Crewe.”
“Deniz is a lovely place to come for food, this is the second time I have been and both times, the service, staff and atmosphere has always been incredible. Everything on the menu is delicious, the food comes out very prompt! The staff have always been extremely friendly, they couldn’t do anymore for you. I first came for my Mum’s birthday at Lunch and we had such a lovely time, we said we would recommend and come back. Tonight we came for my friends birthday and they couldn’t have done enough for us, they even sang him Happy Birthday in Turkish. Very kind people and we will bring more people back to this restaurant.”
