“Rookery Wood formerly Tom Cobleighs has been here since the late nineties. One of the few places locally that you can get an all you can eat breakfast. Around 11.30 it changes to a carvery. Parking is free and there's ample spaces to be had. They have a beer garden and a separate smoking area by the entrance. Tried there all you can eat breakfast which was around £8 for another £2 you can get unlimited tea and coffee. Service is excellent as was the breakfast. Many thanks to Joe who served me who was very welcoming and sociable. What I liked is you have a toaster that you can toast your own bread which is far better than having it from under the heat lamps. The spread included bacon, sausage, black pudding, hash brown, scrambled eggs, fried eggs, tomatoes, beans and mushrooms also believe it or not Yorkshire pudding is also on offer. Would highly recommend Rookery Wood and with so many people here today many agree its the place to come to any morning for that breakfast experience.”

“Just had Lunch. My partner had a pork roast and I had a southern fried chicken burger. Both meals were delicious, one of the best burgers I've had. We both also had red velvet cake sundaes which were fantastic! The staff were brilliant, service was very good. The Pub is also dog friendly.”

“We celebrated my son's 9th birthday here today. Food came out fast and tasted delicious!! The staff kindly agreed to bring my son's cake out for him. (I was not expecting them to stand and sing happy birthday at all, so that meant so blummin much to us!) The staff were 10/10. Helpful, friendly, people. We just had a really lovely evening and my son left smiling. The only negative I have, is for 4 of us to eat, it cost £86!! For burgers and chips etc, that's very pricey in my opinion.”

We needed a vegetarian option and this again was no trouble at all. They asked what time we wanted food out and this was very prompt, with the names on the food boxes to save time. “I had the carvery for the first time yesterday. Can honestly say it was lovely, the meat was all cooked beautifully and so were the trimmings. Not small portions either. The young lady who served us on the bar, Sammie was so friendly and polite she's hands down a credit to the place and the chefs serving food were very polite aswell. The whole building is lovely and clean. I personally love the displays of all the stokie pottery.. being a stokie myself it makes me super proud to see it out on display with pride. Nice sized beer/smoking garden and a small play area indoors for children. Not too pricey and quality of the food is fantastic. They sell stunning cakes aswell which are to die for. Definitely worth trying if you haven't already you won't be disappointed. Can't recommend here enough.”
