“We love this place. Go on regular basis as they do amazing mid-week 4 course deal for £18.50 each. Poppadom, starter, main with rice or naan and ice-cream. You won’t get better value to eat-in, anywhere close here in Stafford for that. Food is exceptional, coupled with gr8 service. Definately Worthy of a visit if you like your curry, then go mid-week and take advantage of their 4-course set menu. Exceptional value for money @ £18.50 per person.”

“I attended a private party held at Gurkha Dining. Gurkha Dining provided an exquisite meal for us! Every bite was a delight, full of gorgeous flavours, wonderful aromas, and lots of oohs and ahs of satisfaction followed. It was beautifully presented and the staff were absolutely lovely and helpful. The acoustics were also great, in that even though we were a biggish party, we could converse easily and naturally. I recommend this restaurant wholeheartedly!”

The team were very friendly and to top it off, the cooking was just delicious. The owner is also the chef. She is so friendly. There is plenty of parking and a lovely venue. “The Best full English I've ever had! We went in on Saturday morning for something to set us up for the day and were not disappointed. The owner served us and was really friendly. I had a delicious mocha and a full English, my partner had a latte and full English, the food came out very hot and cooked to perfection. I ordered a sandwich and drink to takeaway for my dinner, yet to report on that but I'm sure it'll be as delicious as everything else. I think we've found our regular breakfast place, can't wait to go back!”

“Fabulous family weekend spent in the converted pub. Our second visit. Its been revamped since we last stayed. Downstairs was great, Really well stocked kitchen. Comfy lounge, great bar area. Fantastic family area. Bedrooms, lack a little luxury. No full length mirror. No hooks for towels anywhere. Bathrooms tiny and unpleasant drain smell due to saniflow I suspect. However perfectly usable and great power shower if not compact in size! Loads of cobwebs and spiders in our room so the corners and windows in room and bathroom had definitely been missed. Bed super comfy and bedlinen lovely. There was only one side table by the bed even though room for two and our TV wouldn't work. We spent limited time in the room so it didn't matter. We would 100% return again.”

“Updated review. Glad to see that the same high quality has been transferred to the now relocated restaurant in Cheshire Street. The new larger premises (where the old Town House used to be) are just perfect, with increased capacity and really stunning decor.....even the toilet has received a fantastic makeover. The service is top class, really friendly and attentive and the food is deliciously authentic. Definitely need to book though since is very popular. Bella Italia Market Drayton. What a fantastic little authentic Italian restaurant and a great addition to Market Drayton's culinary offerings, complementing the already excellent nearby Foodshion (oriental) and Pickles (Indian). The fact that it is fairly small, 4 tables of 4 and a table for 6 gives it a really cosy and intimate vibe but with plenty of space between tables to afford privacy. The decor and lighting is quirky and has been really well thought out to provide a great experience for those seeking either a romantic atmosphere or somewhere different for a small celebration with family and friends. The background music was perfect. The menu is an Italian foodies' delight with a great range of beautifully prepared and presented pasta dishes along with a wide selection of meat dishes all at an excellent price. Thankfully not a pizza in sight! We were a party of 5 and shared the house antipasti (a large selection of cured meats, cheeses, olives and bruschetta) followed by various pasta dishes, Tiramisu or coffee all for less than £25 per head! They have a selection of soft drinks including zero alcohol beer, wine and fizz, or you can take your own alcohol. The service was top notch, attentive but not intrusive. This is definitely our new favourite local restaurant and will return very soon.”

“On arrival the owners were extremely friendly and welcoming. On a Friday and Saturday its a tasting menu. Each course was absolutely delicious. The quantity of everything served was high. “We’ve just arrived home from a fabulous stay here. We arrived after a long trip up from Plymouth to be met with tea and homemade cake by Mike and a room upgrade. The room was lovely and absolutely spotless and the bed was very comfortable.The breakfast next morning was absolutely fantastic and Mike gave us a lift to Nelson’s distillery for the gin school. At the end of the day Mary came and picked us up and we went back to find the log burner in the lounge lit and had a nice few hours resting in the lounge. They had made a reservation for us in the local village pub which was superb. The breakfast this morning was wonderful again and we would highly recommend a stay here. We just need to find more reasons to come up north again! Thanks again for a fantastic weekend.”
