βHighly recommended. A friendly, knowledgeable and helpful team with exceptional customer service skills. keep up the good work guys.β
βLovely staff. Very attentive but also allowed us the space and time to decide which product was for us. Gave all the information about the mattresses without being pushy.β
βOk so this place surpassed my expectations. I got married here 30 years ago and my city has suffered since. The hotel has changed hands a few times since and I wasnβt expecting much but it really was great. Itβs a big hotel. The rooms are huge. Itβs been very well redecorated throughout. 2 small complaints 1. Lift is a bit tatty. 2. Ground floor lobby is like the land that ti forgot. Otherwise itβs a yes from meβ

βI've been skating for years but didn't think to Google local roller disco's near me. When I did there were so many close by. Also I didn't expect my son to enjoy roller skating as much as me. I think we both love mum and son Saturday skate time β€οΈ Great music, speed skating and a couple of games thrown in. Shout out to the lovely staff too, I see them helping people all the time.β
βOur first time holidaying in the Peak District area. We have had a lovely stay at Mixon View. Very well equipped, clean and finished to a high standard. The view from the patio was beautiful, the only noise, bird song. After a day out and about, so great to return to.β
βSpent a superb long weekend here, the cottages were cosy, clean and very well stocked in games and puzzles with full amenities for home cooked meals. Beautiful location with easy access for great hiking trails. Would definitely recommend!!β
βIf you love ponies, horses, riding and want to learn to ride then this is a great place to start. Facilities are fantastic and Heather and Steve always make you feel welcome and part of the Middleton Family. Friendly yet highly professional at all times. Our youngest girl Eloise (aged 10) loves the place and would no doubt sleep in one of the stables if she could! After trying other riding schools and getting nowhere, Heather & Steve have brought out the confidence in Eloise and sheβs now a regular face there and enjoying every minute. Well done to Heather, Steve and the Middleton Team. Give them a call and take a look.β
βMyself, my wife and my in-laws came to a cottage near Blythe Bridge for our wedding anniversary. We had looked at a few places to go out for walks (ourselves and the dogs), and we decided on Downs Bank first. We're so pleased we did. There is ample parking for around 40 cars. We did a few easy walks as both of my in laws are getting on in years. But, there are a lot more challenging walks for those that like to get the heart rate up. Benches around the bank are a little hard to find but there are sufficient for just taking a brief moment near the stream. We were here in January and we couldn't have asked for better weather, and being early in the year, the cold and lack of children had made this a beautiful place to stroll around with very few people/kids or dogs to break the relative tranquility of a lovely place. Once you have done the walk a couple of times the chance of a different type of photograph have gone, but then you could start to get creative about differing points of view and shots to try. Overall I would highly recommend Downs Bank for all ages and abilities.β
βI stayed in the Eagle's Nest apartment while workng for a week in Stafford, only 15-20 minutes away. Helen and Andy have curated a wonderful old building into a delightful combination of B&B plus the flat. I had a warm welcome (the B&B bit - so much better than a code and a lockbox) with the offer of a complementary home made flapjack on my arrival. I was shown up to the flat and around it, so that all thereafter was simple. Helen is enthusiastic about the house and its history and was a great host - the welcoming bowl of fruit and biscuits is always a nice touch. Plenty to do in and around Eccleshall and Helen showed me to a 5K into the countryside from the house that I did a couple of times. Pubs and food in Eccleshall. Give it a go.β
βAs stated before in reviews, this is a wonderful Gents shop in fabulous Nantwich. Terrific choice and always beautifully presented and as for customer service, itβs unparalleled. Thanks to John for ordering and sorting out my Barbour shirt. See you soon.β
βGreat B&B with lots of heart! Very friendly owners, and so cosy to stay here in this piece of history. Make sure you go for their Derbyshire Full English breakfastβ
βWe have just returned from a weekend in Norfolk with Andy, our driver from Hollinshead. He couldnβt have worked harder to make sure everyone was alright and went over and beyond the call of duty. He was kind and very helpful and made time to talk to us all. His driving skills were excellent. So thank you Andy for your care and we look forward to being with you again.β
βThis is a little gem of a place it is small but has some lovely animals and birds and has a flying display it is very reasonable in price and great for kidsβ
βArrived here on a cold & rainy Saturday morning for breakfast, it was warm and welcoming staff were polite and friendly. We were told to sit where we liked which is always a bonus and they were quick to take our order. A Latte and fruit juice arrived very quickly and then Maple syrup Pancakes and bacon twice, was lovely food great portion sizes and more than reasonable price, would definitely recommend!β
βWe had a wonderful stay at Combermere Abbey. Our host, Stefan was delightful, the view spectacular and cleanliness & comfort was superb.β
βThe Hales Hall caravan and camping site is in Cheadle Staffordshire. It's a large site that provides both tent and caravan pitches. They also have the choice of 3 types of wooden lodges which looks lovely but they are limited to just a few. On this site they have a statley home which as a restaurant that you can book a table even if you are not staying at the site. They have a bar with a good selection of drinks and friendly staff. They have all the amenities needed to make your stay comfortable toilets and showers blocks. This site is close to the Alton towers theme park and also a great place to stay if you want to explore some of Staffordshires beautiful walks and trialsβ
βStay and room was amazing, staff cannot do enough for you! Chefs taster menu was incredible. Eva and Gemma in the Spa are fantastic and made sure we had the best time!β
βI had a wonderful day at Tittesworth visitor centre while my husband took part in an ultra marathon. The center was well-organized with very friendly staff. The food was good and the drinks were reasonably priced. There was ample parking and great accessibility for wheelchair users. The disabled toilet was a bit challenging to access due to the door, but it was clean. There were plenty of disabled parking spots close to the main paths. The paths around the lake were great for those with strollers and wheelchairs. They also offer trampers for hire if you want to relax and enjoy the stunning views.β
βMy son and I stopped here for a night for a few days walking in the Peaks. I stayed here when I was on a school walking trip and enjoyed it then as we walked from Hostel to hostel. I was certainly not disappointed with this visit either, it's such a historic building with all it's character and charm kept, well done YHA. The Hall is super with lots of rooms to chill in, great choice of food and drinks on offer. The staff were really friendly and helpful and kept us informed of the hostels amenities. The choice of food and good selection for breakfast was great. The rooms were clean and well catered for, we stopped in a private room which had its own shower and sink in the room which was good in the coach house. The hostel is well situated in a lovely quiet area and village with a choice of walks from the front door.β
