βA wonderful mixed woodland near to Oakamoor and between Cgeadke and Alton Towers. The site us owned and managed by the National Trust, access is free with plenty of parking at a layby, or in a small dedicated car park about further along the road from Cheadle. A variety of wildlife is on offer if you're lucky enough to see it and walking is medium difficulty with one or two trickier sections dotted about. Rarely more than a handful of people here.β
βAbsolutely top place. Couldn't fault the service. If they didn't have something in stock it was ordered and delivered on time. Paul and Martin delivery lads really helpful too.β
βA brilliant holiday on a lovely boat βkillington from bunbury . Spotless boat with lovely fluffy towels and everything you need for a great experience . Our fridge broke on route but we rang the boat yard and they arranged for the staff at Trevor boat yard to fix it and they did it and replaced the fridge in no time and we were very pleased with how good they all were . Would highly recommend Anglo Welsh and would like to say thank you to all the staff at Trevor and Banbury xβ
βExcellent food and top notch pub management. Very friendly and welcoming. The menu is pub food, no pretences, just good, honest traditional food in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The landlady was very welcoming on arrival and made us feel like we were special. Would definitely visit again.β
βWe had a lovely day trip to Blackpool on Sunday 6/04/25. The driver who I think was named Dave, was really pleasant , very helpful. This isn't our first trip either with Copelands, all the drivers have been very pleasant, welcoming & helpful. Never been disappointed with any trip. So we'd highly recommend.β

βBeing retired i found i had time on my hands and decided to get into art. Since school (where I didn't do well in art) I have only created one small watercolour and 3 drawings so as I'm a real beginner I took the plunge with Seasons Art in Congleton. Very glad I did - it's very well run by Steph and Alison and the course material was well thought out. You have to provide paper, pencils, ruler, eraser yourself but paints and pastels are supplied in abundance in class - as are tea, coffee and biscuits to help you through. Alison is lovely and an excellent teacher and very good at all the media. Steph also is lovely (never without her signature beaming smile) and provides all of the materials. Alison demonstrates the techniques etc by projecting her phone onto a huge screen making it easy to understand. She is quick to answer questions and to advise on anything you're struggling with. So I can heartily recommend the class if you're contemplating joining - it's a fantastic introduction to art amongst a group of like minded folk (my class were lovely and we had some great laughs). My only tiny criticism is that being a slow learner I would have liked a little more time on the real basics - but hey there's a lot to pack into 14 classes and I'm very proud of the work that I produced.β
βShort version: Fantastic B&B to which we'd happily return. Our hosts were exceptionally welcoming and personable and were very happy to help us out wherever they could; in my case, using the warm, dry, shed to replace a tubless bicycle tyre which had given up on the idea of retaining air inside it. The room was great and everything felt 'just so'. It's unashamedly at the more premium feeling end of the market and worth every penny of our stay there. Special mention must be made of the breakfasts which were spectacular. The continental breakfast was vast and included fruit juice, cereal, croissants, fresh fruit and toast. There is also the (additional charge) option of a Full English which is fabulous, although it may mean you don't eat very much until rather later in the day...there isn't a huge amount of plate showing between the food. Bonus points must also be awarded to the choice of putting peppercorns on the mushrooms. Pro tip 1: if you're after a cooked breakfast (and I'd urge you to at least try it once), it's a good idea to let someone know the night before so they can be prepared. Pro tip 2: Steve and Andy's local knowledge is excellent, both in terms of the eateries, but also the small roads to avoid so I'd recommend taking advantage. I did a Google check on one of them and it'd be ... interesting ... to take a car down there, especially as you're highly likely to meet a tractor coming the other way.β
βWe had an amazing stay at the Tythe Barn House! We stayed in The Granary with 2 adults and 3 kids! Had a little front room kitchen, toilet and two bedrooms! Nice cosy little cottage! The host was lovely and she made us all very welcome! Cooked us a great breakfast in the morning! PS the local dominos delivers here which I is handyβ
βFabulous family weekend spent in the converted pub. Our second visit. Its been revamped since we last stayed. Downstairs was great, Really well stocked kitchen. Comfy lounge, great bar area. Fantastic family area. Bedrooms, lack a little luxury. No full length mirror. No hooks for towels anywhere. Bathrooms tiny and unpleasant drain smell due to saniflow I suspect. However perfectly usable and great power shower if not compact in size! Loads of cobwebs and spiders in our room so the corners and windows in room and bathroom had definitely been missed. Bed super comfy and bedlinen lovely. There was only one side table by the bed even though room for two and our TV wouldn't work. We spent limited time in the room so it didn't matter. We would 100% return again.β
βThis place is lovely. We reserved two of the units - The Smithy and The Pump House. The Pump House is dog friendly. The units are well furnished and comfortable. The rooms are finished around what appear to be the original beams. I can confirm their very solid authenticity having verified it with my head on my very first morning. Lesson leaned. Both kitchens were very nice and well appointed. I wasnβt super impressed with the pots and pans but I managed. We made use of the games and puzzles. We will definitely be back. The area is beautiful. The cows are curious. The dog was very happy. The local area has lots to offer.β
βHad recent console repair and service done. Great customer service. Quality work done at a fair price. Highly recommend for repair.β
βFantastic house to rent. Sleeps 12 very comfortably, decorated lovely with added autumn decorations when we were there. Plenty of room with two living areas a big kitchen and great dining room for everyone to gather to eat. The kitchen is exceptionally well stocked with equipment including air fryer and slow cooker. Lots of utensils that I usually find lacking when going away. Our only downside was the AGA not working as it would have made cooking for 11 so much easier, but we managed to sort with all other options available. Towels in all rooms, with extras for the hot tub. Host welcoming and helpful. Out in the country but close to lots of places to go out to during the day. Had a great stay and would recommend.β
βThe room was clean and very cosy. It had everything we needed. Caroline and Clive were excellent hosts. The service provided by them was excellent. Breakfast was the crown of the stay. We will definitely return.β
βProHort are amazing. I was in the awful situation when after submitting my planning application I was asked for a PRA by the district council before planning could be approved. As I was very short on time due to the bat season and surveys only being conducted over a few months in the summer, I contacted lots of companies who were very happy to help me with the PRA but if I did have any sign of bats they would be unable to carry out the surveys until the following year. This would have held up my project for approx 12 months. ProHort were different to all the other companies that I contacted, Annette phoned me on receiving my email and we discussed my project i.e. the house, the area and the likelihood of bats. This common-sense approach was a complete rarity in all the email responses and telephone calls I made. I canβt recommend ProHort highly enough they genuinely care for both the project and the wildlife.β
βLovely club has good country and western on every other Saturday and Sunday nights brilliant nights well run club worth a check outβ

βSolid local traditional pub. Well worth a visitβ
βWe went for a sunday dinner today and I have never had a better sunday lunch in my life. There was 3 of us and we shared a sunday lunch board. Great portions, fantastic selection of veg on the board with succulent ham and the best pigs in blankets iβve ever seen. Words cannot describe how good this meal was, if i could vote it 11/10 i would. Big shoutout to the chef Ryan who did a fantastic job.β
βI Recently face painted an event here, parked in the potteries. It was a great community event and the park itself is good area with something for all the family.β
βReally pleased with my choice, stayed for 2 nights on a romantic weekend! It's well located about 5 min car journey into Buxton. Owner was helpful, kind and knowledgable about places to eat etc. The room was nice and spacious. The breakfast was very good and we needed earlier at 8am and that was not a problem, actually was owner's suggestion because we had a hiking at 9am. Considering the area, WiFi was very quick! They have a little farm with animals unfortunately we had no time for visiting but you can see them from the car park! We really do recommend!β
βNice venue and clubhouse. Went for a christening. Nice location.β
βOnly problem is it gets very busy! It's a lovely playground in a beautiful setting. The nearby visitor's center provides refreshments and toilet facilities.β
βWe absolutely enjoyed the stay, we were a group of family friends with kids. Loved the views and location. The town just 5 miles down the road too. Service was greatβ
βHad a delivery today for an order placed via a third party. Delivery note mentions the Telford branch and "Kev A (34)". Just wanted to say that customer service from the delivery driver, guessing his name is Kev based on the delivery note, was awesome. Thank you very muchβ
βTried a number of agents before coming across Eazy Lett and they were all dreadful. The team at Eazy Lett are fantastic and are probably the reason why I remain as a landlord. Communications are awesome, tenants and properties are well managed and I get paid on time. Perfect !!β
βWent for dinner, the food is stunning. One of the best pub meals I've had in a long time. No one in my family had anything but good stuff to say about itβ
βReally nice and clean place. Stayed 2 nights and everything was thereβ
βA nice holiday for everyone with two Steam train rides as well as two boats rides plus free time in Torquay Devon which was goodβ
