“Walked in to a warm, welcoming , pizza smell. Shared olives to start and it was a very generous portion with lovely salted bread and olive oil. Had already ordered a pizza each which was delicious but very filling. Brought a doggy bag home. Staff were attentive and pleasant. The only down side was there wasn't a wine list and we ended up paying heavily for the drinks. Will definitely book again.”

“Been I the peel for the first time since the new owners have taken over and they have done a amazing job of the pub. The new owners have given the pub a much needed paint and a good clean and they have put a lovely patio in the beer garden. The toilet seemed new and very clean. They really seem to be trying really hard with the place. They had a BBQ on today which I found to be a great idea and really do hope that the pub goes from strength to strength”

However, we asked for a proper spicy indian curry, they suggested DELHI Karachi and north indian garlic chili (we asked to add chicken) it was really delicious, a bit more spicy than we asked but it was grt overall. We had mixed grill as starters and it was delicious too! Although the management was not very good. We had to go over and call them everytime. I also felt, the sides prices was a bit too much for the size. However, putting the poor hotel management and prices aside, I would say the taste is absolutely the only thing that would make me want to come here again.
