“Lovely place to eat and the food is fantastic and reasonably priced. I had fish and chips this time because it looked so good when a friend had it last time - I wasn't disappointed. Fish was fresh, batter was crisp and perfect and the portion was massive! Last time I had Scotch egg starter - the best I have ever tasted. Will keep this pub on my list for sure!”

“I will be honest, the last time I went to PDP it was horrendous. There was no atmosphere, they got our meals wrong and it was just genuinely bad. Fast forward to yesterday and it was INCREDIBLE. Back to its normal self. The food was immense, they were so hospitable for the kids. Well done everyone. You made a very poor experience previously, become an excellent experience now. I’d highly recommend here. Such a beautiful restaurant.”

“Attended Capello’s for a meal out with a large group of work colleagues. The staff were really friendly and helpful and got all our food out quickly and correctly. All the meals were lovely and everyone really enjoyed the meal. There was great options for the gluten free and vegetarian members of the group. The atmosphere is lovely! “Lovely little restaurant, good was insanely delicious, everything came out fresh and hot. Food came out very fast left like no more than 15mins. Child's pizza was lovely my child ate the whole thing. And said the icecream was nice. Staff (blonde lady on entrance) super friendly and very helpful. “Farima was our waitress this evening, She was friendly and helpful with regards to our nut allergy needs. No task to hard checking ingredients for us. “Very delicious, authentic Thai food set in a beautiful pub-like setting (if you're looking for pub food, that would be at the Talbot pub next door). The food appealed to both first timers and fans of Thai food. Service was exceptional, and they were dog-friendly. Couldn't have asked for a better dining experience.”

“We came across this pub after a day an Alton Towers, when we arrived we was greeted with lovely staff and atmosphere. Ordered some drinks and decided to stay for food. Ordered steak which was cooked to perfection. And a pork schnitzel which was full of flavour. Everything came out piping hot. Ordered 2 sausages for my daughter who doesn’t like peas and chips and they reduced the price for this reason. Lovely wine too. Couldn’t recommend this place anymore. Was our first visit and definitely won’t be our last!”

“Had a party for a retirement celebration. There were 14 of us and we complicated things with last minute changes to numbers due to sickness. Staff couldn’t do enough and everything went very well and smoothly. They re-set the table and made space for 2 prams for our newborn babies. Nathan was our allocated waiter and took the time to go over the changes to the pre orders, last minute changes and allergies to ensure they were all correct. Great food and service. Lovely atmosphere too. A wonderful afternoon.”

“The food was good and plentiful, the staff helpful even though they were busy. Had a bit of a wait due to the amount of people there, but I didn't mind as I wasn't in a rush. The only reason gave 3 *for atmosphere was the large party and kids, it was a little noisy but they left and the volume went down. We then sat outside in the sun to finish our drinks with a cracking view. But a great place to have food and have some meal deals.”

“Me and my partner had a takeaway from here last night. Rang before hand to double check allergens and some menu items, guy on the phone was knowledgeable, we didn’t feel like a burden asking. Takeaway came within the time specified, delivery driver was well presented and polite. And the food was unreal on top of it. Everything we had tasted amazing, especially the fish pakora, it was all piping hot. We couldn’t have asked for anymore.”

“We went for a meal out on Father's Day. I've been twice now and it's definitely one of my favourite places to eat at. All the staff are very friendly and helpful, and the food was incredible. You can tell that everyone there definitely have a lot of passion for what they do, as everything was perfectly cooked and presented like a piece of art.”

“Went for the first time this week and I've been looking for a good Indian restaurant for a while. I'm veggie, so tried the Paneer Makhani and it was delicious. Unlike other places I've been, this one had plenty of paneer, it was amazing. I had gone to another place and it barely had five cubes, it was ridiculous. I'll definitely return here and I'll order from here, too, in future. Staff were super lovely, too.”

The menu offers a great selection, but the standout for me was definitely the steak. You could really taste the quality of the meat and the care put into its preparation. The service was also top-notch. The staff were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations and checking in just the right amount. Whether you’re a fan of barbecue, a steak lover, or just someone looking for a great place to enjoy a hearty meal with excellent ambiance, Deadwood Smoke Restaurant is a must-visit. I’m already looking forward to going back and trying more from their menu. Highly recommended!”

“The food was impeccable, genuinely don’t have a complaint about the food. The service however was very slow. We waited 35 minutes between starter and main, it wasn’t even busy and then it took them 15 odd minutes to bring the bill over. My only complaint. Food was great.”

“Seabridge Fish Bar is hands down the best in Newcastle-under-Lyme! Their fish and chips are always cooked to perfection – crispy batter, soft and fluffy inside. But don't even get me started on their kebabs! They take such care to let the excess grease drain off before serving, which makes all the difference. And the staff – Stavro, Jess (Expecially Jess, like tonight (Thurs 7th August), instantly saw my car and started waving at me, so friendly), Paula, and the rest of the team – are always so friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend! They also have great deals on all other meals like, fantastic sausages, brilliant pies, and burgers that are juicier and cheesier!" 11/10!!!!”

“I have visited Higher Ground on numerous occasions and love the decor, atmosphere and delicious food. Staff are always polite and attentive. I often visit with my children and mum who has mobility issues and staff go out of their way to accommodate us on a table that is accessible for her. The food is always delicious, and it is clear that they use the best locally sourced products. I usually go for brunch but recently tried the Shawarma wrap that was amazing. Would definitely recommend.”
