“We chose Pad Thai for our monthly restaurant outing with our friend/neighbour, and it was absolutely delicious! We had the shared starter, I had the duck breast, my partner had a chicken curry and our friend had sweet and sour chicken with shared egg fried rice. Honestly, it was fantastic! The owner shared that she has been open since 1997, and we can see why! We also had desserts, you have to try their speciality dishes, including the steamed banana cake. We will 100% be back, best meal we’ve had in a long time and the owner is so friendly! (Sorry it was so delicious that I ate it all without taking any pictures)”

Look no further Great place to eat in and order a take out from Garlic ribs are fab - different to the usual bbq and peeking range but does not disappoint TEMPURA PRAWNS AND PRAWN TOAST!! Amazeeballs!!! Love it and the sauce that comes with Fab chicken pad Thai!! Abs delish. Spicey, fabulously cooked noodles which are light and not stodgy in anyway. Authentic Thai cuisine. Expensive but again worth every penny! Great place to take your date / friends to. Restaurant is amazing, love the feel and the staff are amazing - friendly , helpful and will always advise you on the dishes if you are ever unsure. Thank you guys !!! Xx”

“It was an absolute pleasure dining here. The only reason I found it was the delicious smell when I was walking past with my wife and saw the reviews. So we decided to eat. From we we walked through the door we were greeted with a smile and kindness. The staff....soo happy which sets the tone for the entire meal. The food is great. The beef Pad Ka pow was recommended to us and it was amazing, garlic and chilli with tender beef topped with a perfect fried eggs. The torpedo prawns crispy and fresh and the fried fish (tilapia) was amazing crunch and flaky. The condiments were amazing and top tier. The atmosphere was cute and a lot of locals come in...the vibe is just unique. Happy staff happy locals nice atmosphere. Highly recommend this to anyone”

“We ate in here the other week, the food was beautiful but we felt abit ripped off. We were charged for the Prawn crackers, even though it clearly said on the front of the menu 'free Prawn crackers when you spend over £30' I was also full, so I asked if I could take my leftovers with me.. to be told I will be charged 70p for a small plastic tub to takeaway my leftovers. Which would be fair enough, but every meal was already 50p more to eat in than takeaway. Which I understand, for washing up/table service etc.. But to be charged 70p ontop of a meal, that would have already been 50p cheaper if we just had it to takeaway seems abit naughty. Order it for takeaway and it's already 50p cheaper and your not paying 70p for the tub either. It's not about the money as we would have given them a tip anyway (it cost around £37 and we gave them £40) it's just the principle, it left us feeling like we'd been abit ripped off. I would definitely order from here again (food was perfect/delicious) but it would be for takeaway. Then we can check all the prices before picking up the order.”

“Decided to try Mays Kitchen today 11/09/19, on a friends recommendation and we were not disappointed, we will be going back. Outstanding food and friendly service, very good price for what we had. We had the option to eat in or take away, we ate in. Great opening times, as its always difficult to find somewhere to eat after 2.30pm. Mays are open 12-8pm 6 days per week. Perfect!!! “Best som tam, grilled chicken and sticky rice in London. Very authentic Isaan cooking at this lovely Thai cafe/deli. It's difficult to find really authentic Thai cooking in the UK, but Thai Duck Deli is like going for a meal in a Thai village. Spice levels go from mild to proper Thai-levels. They also have a good children's menu and toys + books to keep little ones entertained. And the freshly-made hot Thai tea is delicious and restorative. Will try one of their special curries (massamam or green curry) next time.”

We placed an order for the Yellow Curry, Red curry, Pad Thai and Papaya Salad. Richard was responsive over text and incredibly friendly, and regularly kept us updated on our order. The food came fresh and hot, and we could tell that a lot of love, time and care had been taken into making these dishes - they were absolutely delicious and full of flavour.
