“Atmosphere is very relaxed and welcoming. To be honest I have eaten in indian restaurants since 1986 and the himalayan curry madras is the best curry I have ever had. Beautiful.”

“We booked a pre-Xmas festive evening meal for 6. The restaurant was warm and the table beautifully set up. We all enjoyed turkey, beef, sea bass with plentiful vegetables and tasty desserts. Very reasonably priced with good, friendly service.”

“What a FANTASTIC night. Aidan and the team were fab. The service was on point. The food was awesome (we have brought a lot home as we had eyes bigger than our bellies. The cocktails were delicious. The atmosphere was fire. We went for our 10th Wedding Anniversary and had the best night and it was so so needed. Aidan, you were a legend. Thank you SO MUCH. The evening was exactly what was needed.”

“After finally being allowed from Boris to eat out, I got a chance to pop in and try some tasty Indian food. Once ordered, drinks, popadoms and a selection of sauces were brought to our table. Followed by our hot food ordered which looked amazing, extremely tasteful, plentiful and totally delicious. Staff were so friendly, will most definitely be visiting again to try out some more of the menu, the alcohol drinks at the bar looked very appealing, definitely for a night out soon.”

“Found the Builders arms online and the reviews seem good! We had a party of 4 to entertain for the weekend so this place seemed right. Great selection of Alcohol and the food was tasty. I thought the prices were decent and worth it for what we had. We were served by Angus, he was a friendly guy, made some good conversation while we checked out the menu and made the visit enjoyable. . Would definitely go back!”

We didn't want it too hot and had no problems whatsoever, as the chef listened to our concerns and made it beautiful. I'd never had the bread before called paratha and was pleasantly surprised. “Hosted my sons 18th birthday party here. Amazing venue with a beautiful interior, the dance floor and seating area was a great size enough for our guests! Food was exquisite, and catered for over 120 people. Owners and staff were very helpful and kind, and gave us a lot of support in setting the party up. Great Night and will definitely be booking a party here again!”

“Love this pub! A proper local, I call it the Winchester to my mates as it's a proper pub. They have a TV for the footy and a bandit, with a decent pool table. The smoking area is the best I've seen in the UK, tiled, covered and every time I've been out there I've had a good natter with the fellow smokers. Good people, good crowd!”
