“So. I arrived at this veterinary practice and was greeted in a wonderful manner by a very hyper receptionist, who escorted me to a seat and informed me that the Vet that had been informed that I have indeed arrived. The Vet then opened the consultation room door, and walked with me into the room, I was then met by a very energetic Spanish woman who was quite clearly obsessed with my canine companion who is called Belle. She provided a thorough examination whilst talking to her in a VERY high pitched tone of voice. She then administered the vaccine and asked if she could show the rest of the practice what a delightful patient she was, in which I agreed, I then saw my companion being paraded around the practice as some sort of icon. Once returned I headed to reception when a male member of staff (Jacobe) I think his name was, shook my hand and said thank you for being here this morning and thank you for being the wonderful human being you are.”
“I visited for the first time today. It was clean, the staff on reception were polite and friendly. The vet was lovely and handled my dog well. I was happy with the treatment and future plan.”
“You get what you pay for, there is a reason it. Is called VALUE VETS, but saying that, the name doesent do it justice. It is a basic vets, but really your after the vets knowledge, not a fancy comfy seat in a waiting room? Very thorough the vet is here, will take time to. Check over everything and help you out with great advice as well. If I had to mark it down for anything and being picky here, I wasn't told that it would cost me additional to clear my dogs anal glands, I had to ask for a proper recipt..... But I am being a awkward git here, it just would of been nice to know first. All round, good vets will take my wonderful dog here again if required.”
“My kittens were very relaxed and calm during consultation. The vet was lovely with them.”
“It was really nice surgery. They managed to fit me in at the last minute . For that, I'm very grateful. Never knew this place was here. Nice vet always on standby for emergencies and questions you might have. For that reason, I'm rating as a five-star”
“I would like to sincerely thank the vet who took a keen interest in my elderly cats health and the nurse whose approach towards my cat was fantastic. Thanks to them the visit and blood taking was stress-free. The positive change resulting from accurate diagnosis have restored the hope that was previously taken away at another clinic.”
“Lovely vets! Took my bearded dragon in for surgery with Bogdan. He’s amazing, such a lovely guy and super informative. He looked after my beardie so well! Would definitely recommend”
“Pete Rogers is a fabulous vet, very caring and very knowledgeable. The team he has working for him are all lovely and very good at their jobs. He has looked after my dogs for several years, and because of the level of service provided by him, I have followed him on each of his moves. I now have to travel over 20 miles each way but it's worth it as I totally trust him with my dogs. Vets fees are expensive but if I can get the drugs on line cheaper, Pete is always happy to provide a prescription instead so I can save money. Thank you Pete and the team.”
“All of my animals have been coming here for over a decade, incredible staff and lovely environment x thank you for all that you do!”
“Really was so caring about the loss of my friends cat Sydney. We got his ashes and they put them into a lovely keepsake box . It was gifted with a card and boxed and bagged up beautifully.”
“I can’t thank Vets for Pets West Bromwich enough for the incredible care they gave to my cat. He had a very poorly eye that needed surgery, and the whole team were outstanding from start to finish. The facilities are spotless and state-of-the-art, and every staff member we met was kind, patient and genuinely caring. They explained everything clearly, kept us updated throughout, and treated my cat as if he were their own. His recovery has been amazing thanks to their skill and attention.”
“I can not thank all the staff at the vets. They took great care of my dog, who had to go in for dental cleaning and the removal of two of his teeth. They explained everything to me what to expect after as lm a great worrier when it comes to my best buddy. So THANKYOU ALL VERY MUCH FOR UNDERSTANDING.”
“Despite my parent’s dog being registered locally with another veterinary practice and me ringing during their opening hours expressing concern that the dog needed to be seen urgently, I was declined an appointment. I was left ringing round and Shepherd’s Vets came to the rescue with an Out of Hours appointment at home to sadly put to sleep their dog. The visiting vet and nurse were compassionate and caring and I can’t thank them enough for their support during what was a difficult and heartbreaking position. The only vets locally to do home visits and I will transferring my cats to their care to ensure I don’t have a repeat experience of being declined an appointment in a pets hour of need!”
“Thankyou to the staff that look after my dog when he went missing due to the bad weather”
“Very welcoming staff and vets. Your animals are well cared for, and any operations and treatments are explained in details. Recommend these vets. Have 5 animals under their care now. But previously i started using these vets when my oldest dog was born in 1994 (under different name) and all of my pets since.”
“This is my vets of choice. Fantastic service and the staff are all friendly; you can see their passion for animal care and animals themselves. The staff treat each animal as if they were their own, which means I trust them and comfortable leaving my dog in their care; which means I worry less and are not as nervous as I would be. The emotions are still there, as they appear every time he isn't by my side but I'm not pacing and chewing off my nails while phoning the vets every two minutes to inquire about him. The staff quickly put you at ease as well. The staff listen to what you tell them about your pet and even remember it on your next visit! They make you feel as if your pet is the only patient that they have. You can ask as many questions and they'll happily answer them. The prices aren't too bad either, they do quite a few deals that are really good value for money. The pricing actually quite fair, for the average person, it is actually manageable, depending on the size of the dog, you could get your animal castrated, chipped and its starter injections from as little as £110 pounds which is a bargain. You don't actually have to re mortgage your house every time you book a vet appointment, haha. You can also go in anytime to get your pet weighed and get dietary advice if you need it. I cannot fault the place. I now will never go to another vets! (Excluding out of hours of course, I'd take my dog if he needed to go there)”
“Absolutely brilliant vets friendly and very professional I’ve used different practices over the years and the practice at merry hill centre is the best by far”
“Fantastic company to work for. Supportive, passionate and excellent values. I feel privileged to work for such a company - not a bad word to say about them. If you're thinking of making the jump - don't hesitate.”
