“My favourite kidderminster coffee shop. Coffee is delicious, atmosphere and staff are warm and friendly. There are also games and toys for children which helps it be family friendly. Toilets are up two flights of stairs but are well looked after. Disability access for downstairs only. Also, as toys are upstairs may be an issue for pushchairs.”
“No real complaints about this Cafe Nero, coffee was good, staff are friendly and efficient. It was a slow and peaceful day, so it was a relaxing cup of coffee. If I had to come up with one negative is that the decor and furniture could use a little updating.”
“Staff were nice and welcoming. Nice air conditioned environment wasn't too busy at nearly 5pm on a Wednesday. All in all, quite a nice place.”
“Spot on! Tried the tearoom in my journey to Holyhead. Lovely friendly staff and excellent food. Great value too. I nearly missed the requirement to register my car licence but rectified that in time!!”
“Really smart & tastefully decorated gastro pub. Very friendly staff. Wide mixture of patrons which made a great atmosphere. Will definitely be back.”
“Honestly this is probably the last proper pub in Kidderminster the staff are very polite and welcoming and the drinks are cheap which is a bonus”
“Had lunch yesterday with my elderly mother. Staff were excellent, very attentive. Food was awesome, well cooked, hot and generous portions. Would definitely recommend this place and will certainly be going again.”
“I've lived near here for over 2 years and walked past this place many, many times but, last week, I was handed a flyer as I walked past offering two breakfasts with drinks for £13.50. We went and tried it out and I can honestly say that it was the best breakfast we have found in, or near, Kidderminster. We had a traditional English breakfast with orange juice and coffee. Everything was cooked extremely well, the plates were hot and the staff were friendly. To test it out, as to whether we were just first time lucky, we went back a few days later and it was just as good. Scrambled eggs were done to perfection, as were the poached ones. It's good value, even at full price but, at the promotional price, it's amazing. Bistrot Pierre will be seeing a lot more of us in the future.”
“Really smart & tastefully decorated gastro pub. Very friendly staff. Wide mixture of patrons which made a great atmosphere. Will definitely be back.”
“we come here after we visit kinver edge for a drink and a meal. this place is very nice, there’s seating outside when the weather is nice, they have a nice size carpark, drinks and food is lovely, especially the fish and chips, my family have the sunday roast and they love it, they keep nagging me to take them again considering we live in birmingham. friendly staff and great service. oh and the chips were delicious.”
“Great Pub/Restaurant. Brilliant play area outside for the kids. Carvery we had on Sunday was 10/10 amazing dinner. Service was best we've had for years! Won't go anywhere else for a Sunday dinner now.”
“Thank you for your outstanding hospitality during our recent visit to Kidderminster on the 13/11/25. Laura, Duwi and Pete were incredibly attentive and friendly, which made our day memorable. We appreciate your dedication to excellent customer service and it’s our belief the perfect blend of good food, beer, great service and the ambiance is warm and cordial. Your commitment to creating a welcoming and enjoyable environment for your customers is evident, and it is greatly appreciated. I will as always definitely recommend your pub to my friends and family and look forward to visiting again soon. Thank you once again for your gracious hospitality and memories! Kindest regards Keith & Mandy x”
“Awesome. Lovely family pub. Great garden. Dog friendly. Cheapest beer in town. Fantastic entertainment. Love the castle. It's the one and only for me. How can people leave a bad review. Give the place a chance. If you're new you're welcome.”
“Lovely and friendly great beer fab dog as well so cute”
“We had Sunday lunch here today and couldn't fault a thing. We stopped going under the last management but thought we would give the new people a try and we are so glad we did. The food was delicious, the service was great and they have decorated the pub beautifully for Christmas. We will definitely be back and hope others in the village will give them a try. From our experience today they won't be disappointed.”
“Libby was very warm, attentive and very polite. The breakfast was very enjoyable. I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere, some people were wearing their pyjamas and doing their make up. The music was at the right level where we could have a conversation without being drowned out. The pub was clean, tidy and very well set up. The manager came in after to help shuffle some chairs which was nice to see, she even made the effort to have a lovely chat. Overall a very good experience and I look forward in visiting again. The staff are an asset to the pub.”
“Great pub, recently taken over and the owners Carl and Shane are lovely, such a great atmosphere, only recently moved here and I feel like I’m at home here, give it a try!”
“Good choice on menu. Very helpful and attentive staff, very friendly made you feel welcome. Food well presented and tasty along with a good drinks selection. Good value.”
“Three other people and the landlord. As a stranger I was welcomed and the banter was good. Clean toilets, always a good indicator.”
“First visit. Great family pub. Very friendly atmosphere and was made very welcome by all staff on duty. Food and beer was excellent”
“The Weary Traveller has become my home from home this last week while I visit friends and family in the area. Sam was very welcoming and the local regulars have been accepting of this 'Auzzie outsider'. I haven't sampled the food but the ale is on par and reasonably priced. The atmosphere is welcoming and inclusive. The place can go from quiet to 'everyone singing to the duke box' very quickly indeed. Look forward to calling The Weary Traveller my 'local' for another week while I retread my infancy and continue to visit family.”
“Found this little gem by chance, and what a find. Recently taken over by new management. The decor was welcoming and comforting, with very nice leather sofa's and armchairs, amongst other tables and chairs. with a nice out door area included at the rear of the pub. We had an afternoon lunch which was of high quality at a very decent price. Staff was very pleasant too. A must visit, one which we will certainly be returning too soon.”
“Absolutely fabulous, one of our favourite restaurants; food is always amazing and the staff are always so polite and helpful. I took my sister for her first time last week and she enjoyed it as much as I did so that's another customer gained. Always a nice experience thankyou The Fox, keep up the good work! Xx”
“The staff are some of the kindest, friendliest and patient people I’ve met. I will be honest I’m a frequent visitor to this Starbucks and the team always have a smile on their faces and offer the best service. I get making coffee of various forms is long and can take time but the staff always are kind and apologetic if needed. The music playing always makes me smile and the staff seem to have a laugh and support each other. I come back to this Starbucks for a reason. Well done team!”
“I met a friend for lunch here today. Lovely warm welcome from 2 Ladies. Friendly quick service. Food was fabulous. Hot fresh and very well presented. I saw the roast dinners come out and they looked amazing. We will be back soon for one of those.”
“Wow .. you smashed it Landoak. Beautifully redesigned clean homely interior with ambient lighting and music. Food was fabulous, good quality ingredients cooked to perfection. The staff were friendly, professional and had a can do attitude. I cannot praise you enough, highly recommend to all reading this.”
“Popped in for the bike night. Bar staff were polite and friendly. Had a meal and drinks. Very reasonably priced. Also bumped into an old friend so all round great visit. Food was great too. Will definitely come again.”
“A lovely time spent at The Watermill incorporated with our excursion to the Safari and Theme Park! Perfectly located with our stay at The Travelodge which was directly opposite! They say a place is considered great when it has good hospitality, and we can without a doubt say we had outstanding hosting, namely Sam and Lexi who demonstrated levels of impartial hospitality any employer of any establishment would desire, especially with them unknowingly having in their presence silver award winner Gideon Nash Director of Nature Care representing St Vincent and The Grenadines from the Chelsea Flower Show 2025! Top marks all the way for Sam and Lexi for making our trip more than pleasurable! We definitely recommend The Watermill to anyone visiting the area! 10 out of 10!!!!”
