“My favourite kidderminster coffee shop. Coffee is delicious, atmosphere and staff are warm and friendly. There are also games and toys for children which helps it be family friendly. Toilets are up two flights of stairs but are well looked after. Disability access for downstairs only. Also, as toys are upstairs may be an issue for pushchairs.”

“Finally had a chance to have breakfast here! There has been a singular dearth of cafe restaurants around the Brindley Place precinct, where one can enjoy a cooked breakfast of fresh food and more modern cuisine, especially before 10 or 11am, and believe me, I've looked. My only complaint is they weren't here six months ago! Great coffee, good food and attentive service all at a reasonable price. Good luck for the future, just sorry I won't be around to enjoy it.”

“We did Tamworth Castle Grounds parkrun on Saturday. This lovely little cafe is just by the start/finish which had a roaring open fire burning inside. Unfortunately, it is quite small so we had to sit outside to enjoy our breakfast as not enough seating for our sizable group (but we did keep popping into to stand by the fire and warm out hands and smell the wood smoke!) Great value breakfast, and loved that you could have mushrooms on your bacaon or sausage sandwich, often not an option. “Don’t understand the bad reviews. The people who work here are lovely, and made us feel welcome the entire time. The food was great, and for £12.50 for two big breakfasts and teas, I could not complain at all. I really liked my time here and would recommend if you fancy a fry up. Really lovely and local place.”

“Had veg kothu parotta and it’s a great taste. Excellent place in Northfield / Kings Norton to have authentic South Indian or srilankan food. Have yet to try non veg foods. Edit on 12/11/2024: The shop owner has changed and remains closed during summer holidays.”

“Service with a lovely smile, the most sweetest lady ever who was kind enough to offer me a free tea when I had left my change in my car that was being fixed in the garage next door.. she has a huge menu to choose from and the food is made fresh. “HIDDEN GEM! Thought I would try this place out as I’ve seen their new brunch menu posters outside the cafe and really enjoyed it! Lovely atmosphere here with attentive and friendly staff. The food looked so professionally done and tasted as good as it looked! Definitely would go back here and is a great hidden gem in the jewellery quarter for brunch.”

“Very very good fish and chips. I have had the fish and chips 20 years ago while I was lived in town. After 20 years another visit. Same boss, same warm greeting, Same recipe, same taste, same everything as 20 years ago. Crispy chips with tasty butter wrapped. Soft fish just well cooked.”

“I'd been hearing such rave reviews about this place from regulars, so just had to come and try! Had a Spanish latte, which was delicious, hot chocolate, and popcorn chicken which was so tasty! The decor was beautiful, service was good, and all for a very good price! Love that they give NHS workers discounts and their offers, which we'll definitely make use of next time! “Whenever I’m working in this area of Birmingham I always pop into this cafe for something to eat. I highly recommend the mega massive breakfast wrap which is huge! Always does me for breakfast & lunch. Haven’t tried anything else as yet but I’m sure I will at some point, definitely a hidden gem opposite the beeches pub.”

“Had a brunch at the cafe with my mom and we both enjoyed our lattes and chorizo and egg on toast. I was pleasantly surprised when I found out that it’s the Alpro brand they used for alternative milk options - we’re picky about our coffee but we really enjoyed the hot drinks. The staff were really friendly and proactively asked us how our experience was which was nice! Will definitely come back every week for the food and drinks.”

“I havent been to a Tesco cafe in ages so great to see how its modernised. Theres modern decor and a relaxed environment. Great for families and space for accessible seating. I love their new menu lots of veggie options and optional extras like hasbrowns. The service was great we were served by Stella who was warm and welcoming. Food came quickly and a good portion size.”

“I must admit after meeting Daniel the owner and sampling his African food I can honestly say,you won't find any cheaper for wholesome freshly cooked food ..Sunshine's lentil soup at only £2 with a foot long Baguette is the most cheapest food I have come across ... I'm vegetarian so quite fussy where I go to eat ..Sunshine cafe is a great little eatary and serves very fresh food ..This is my regular place to eat now. ..I highly recommend this place to everyone”

“This cafe is a little he. First time we've ever used it. The staff are lovely. We had a large breakfast and a super breakfast. The food was beautiful. Cooked so well and really tasty. What a joy, great happy customer service, nice vibes, I had hot pork sandwich with trimmings mmmm and mug of tea. “I love a good fry up and trawl the pubs and cafes around the grove every winter looking for the best breakfast. Rovers Cafe excelled in 2023. It’s a nice place to eat, serves a lovely big breakfast and it’s really good quality.”

“I went today for 3 breakfast baguettes whilst working in the area. Very friendly staff, clean cafe and the food was stunning. I had a sausage baguette and the baguette was a tiger style bread it was gorgeous. I also ordered an oreo cheesecake and my god it did not disappoint. Currently stuffing my face with it now, it's gorgeous. Next time I'm in the area I'm 100% coming back. One of the best breakfast baguettes I've had.”
