“This little village pub is seriously a hidden gem! What a change the new landlady and team have made to the place since my last visit a few years ago. From the selection of drinks & the delicious home made food to the most incredible service I received, I was honestly blown away! Well done team - can't wait to return.”

“Called ahead first to ask about bringing three of my service users (one learning disabilities and two complex needs). Couldn't be more helpful on the phone. Even suggested we could have a table in the quietest area. Once there, the staff were amazing. Extremely helpful, courteous and couldn't do enough to make sure our people were comfortable and stress free. Took the guys names so the bills didn't get confused and allowed us as much time as we needed at the table. Mitchell and Aaron, you were both brilliant and a credit to the pub. Thankyou both and we will definitely be back soon”

“Today we went to the fabulous Spa for the Fire and Ice Experience. Been taking friends and family here for ages for special occasions and always love it. But today’s a shout out for the Brabazon Bar, where we go after for drinks and a chat and a lovely bite to eat. The staff here are so welcoming and friendly. “Hands down my favourite pub to visit. The staff are always so welcoming and polite, especially Daniel! He always goes above and beyond to make sure you’re okay, is always happy to have a chat and makes you feel as though you’re part of the family. Honestly, if all pubs had a Daniel, they’d be one of the best! The pub is really clean, warm and inviting. Love the food here, and have never had any problems with anything I’ve ever ordered and it’s all super yummy and finished to a high standard any time. Can’t wait til my next adventure to the Greenhouse!”

“My friend and I aways go out for a birthday burger at different places - he told me this place had the best chicken burger he’d ever had. It had a lot to live up to, and it’s always hard to enjoy something when you’ve been told its the best, because you’re no longer comparing it to just being nice… it now has to deliver. So tried to forget all that, ordered a MotherClucker, took my time - and by the fourth mouthful I was convinced. I’ve not had a better chicken burger anywhere else! Using the thigh meat keeps it juicy and is nicely balanced against the very crisp coating. It’s clearly all cooked fresh so a burger like this could take 15-20 minutes to assemble, but I’d wait every time! We’ll be back!”

“I recently visited with my sister in law and i must say it was a lovely visit. We had different dishes, and both were delicious and presented beautifully! Ample parking and located in a lovely area. Atmosphere was perfect and i want to give the waitresses a shout out too! - Michelle and Harriet were amazing and very attentive to everything we needed and were both super friendly and smiley. Highly reccomended - will be visiting here again for sure!”

“A fantastic Christmas meal today with friends, and really good value too. Turkey tender, vegetables perfectly cooked, couldn't fault it. The atmosphere was buzzing too, and service from Emma really friendly. We'll be back again next Christmas. Chef and staff, well done!”

“Went for a large family lunch for my daughters birthday. There were 19 of us so we pre ordered, the kids food cane out in minutes and the adults wasnt far behind. Everyone was very helpful and there were no issues at all. Never have any problems here and the food is always well cooked, would recommend.”

Very friendly & helpful staff. Coffee lovely, as is the Latte. Nothing too much trouble for the staff, & always got a smile on their faces. A very popular pub. We'll be using it more frequently from now on.”
