“Lovely place to try. Definitely a hidden gem in Aston! We had a quiet cosy room with a nice afternoon tea with 1930s/40s music on an old fashioned radio. I'm guessing the rooms have a nice old fashioned and comfortable style too. If you want to book, it's better to ring than use the website at the moment.”
“The atmosphere is great , it located on the road side, the people behind the bar are so friendly and prices are reasonable. I went to see a band thete and I had a fantastic time, if you want a good night out with friends, this is the place to be .”
“Nice pub Excellent food and service I would definitely visit again”
“The management and staff catered for a wake for my cousin. It was absolutely packed the food was outstanding they were so busy but they never faultered still smiling. I can not thank them enough for them going above and beyond my expectations the atmosphere was great. But the team at the farmers boy were beyond brilliant. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for doing JASON so proud.”
“Best pub in Bearwood! This is a no frills proper pub, unbeatable value and a great selection of real ales. The beer always tastes good, very clean inside, and always good service from the staff. Highly recommended.”

“Held my husbands wake here. The hot and cold buffet that Jon put on was amazing definitely value for money and the cakes were delicious. Thank you”
“The hub of community spirit the landlord is deeply involved in community events organising seasonal fayres and parades and raising money for the local community. The pub is very much a proper boozer but also welcoming to familys and the elderly. Also do a banging cob homemade by herself. Dogs welcome. Good vibes always.”
“First time eating from Stef's, definitely wont be the last. Website was easy to order from with great choices. Food arrived at the time stated, driver was really polite. Food was outstanding, fresh and full of flavour. Very impressed.”
“Stopped by Ye Olde Black Cross in Bromsgrove and had a genuinely lovely experience. A big shout-out to Blayk, who was behind the bar—his enthusiasm, friendliness, and great energy really stood out. He made everyone feel welcome and engaged brilliantly with both myself and other customers. The pub itself has a warm and friendly atmosphere, decent food, and a fantastic historic touch—a glass-covered well dating back to 1640, which is a really cool feature you don’t see every day. Well worth a visit if you’re in the area—especially if Blayk’s working!”
“Nice atmosphere and very good service. All the staff is very polite and friendly. Delicious braised fish in the Cameroon way and generous portion too that can feed 2 people. Nice beers available like imported Guinness and Leffe for a fair price.”
“Food was amazing and good taste because it turns out exactly I ordered. Also must want to say customer service was very good. I would defiantly want to visit again soon!!! specially for burgers.”
“From start to finish, my experience at Turknazz was fantastic. The complimentary bread and sauces were a delightful way to begin the meal—fresh, flavorful, and a great introduction to what was to come. The food platter was absolutely phenomenal, beautifully presented, and bursting with authentic Turkish flavours. To top it off, the complimentary Turkish delights were a sweet and thoughtful touch. The service was outstanding throughout. The staff were warm, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome. It's clear they take pride in what they do. I’ll definitely be coming back—highly recommended!”

“Good staff managers a crack quiet pub but sometimes that's better”
“Gillz Grillhouse delivers a fantastic dining experience with exceptional customer service. The staff are incredibly welcoming and attentive, making you feel right at home. One standout aspect is the thoughtful inclusion of a prayer facility, offered without even needing to ask—a true mark of a great Muslim-friendly restaurant. I ordered the loaded chicken parmesan, which was both delicious and perfectly spiced. The flavors were rich, and the portion was satisfying. This restaurant is highly recommended, especially for families, as it provides a warm and accommodating atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit!”
“The head chef is simply the best at Chinese cuisine. Really amazing food.”
“Had a fantastic experience here for a work lunch with a group of seven. We were welcomed with complimentary bread and dips to start, which was a lovely touch. For my main I ordered the lamb gyros, which came with a delicious cheese-filled lamb kebab — an unexpected treat! To top it off, we were surprised with free cheesecake for dessert. The service was excellent throughout and I honestly can’t fault a thing. Highly recommended!”
“I had my 40th Birthday party here last weekend and it was the most amazing experience. I can’t recommend this wonderful venue and their team enough. The whole process was so easy and smooth, everybody was so nice, helpful and accommodating, the food was lovely and the venue was just perfect. Thank you to Lana for helping me plan the perfect night, from our first meeting over brunch, through to all the help during the party, and to the whole team for the great service on the night too. So many of my guests said how amazing the place was. Honestly, if you’re looking for somewhere to host an event, definitely give them a visit. You won’t be disappointed. x”
“We've been to the Bulls Head pub around 10 times and it's located in a nice place not far from Birmingham town centre. It was a Bank Holiday when we visited, the Pub was nice and warm as usual. Hannah the Manager of Pub was extremely nice and a credit to the company. My overall score for all the 10+ visits we have done over the past 2 years to this pub is 8.5/10. Their Chicken Burger & Fish + Chips is spot on, and I would say the best on their menu. I think it's called the Ultimate Burger. The Fisherman's Catch & Halumi + Chips is great too, especially for those who are Vegitarian. I know the 'Steak Pie Guiness' is one of their popular dishes but it's not for me, and that's a personal preference but Guiness lovers will love it! The management and company value their reputation and rightly are proud of it. Location wise it's close to Solihull and only 10 mins from City Centre. It's a big pub and the decor is real nice. Go grab yourself some nice Pub grub at Bulls Head! 8.5/10”
“Fab pub, with the best customer service. Thanks to Rocky and the team. You made our daughter Emma’s day today, when she came to say goodbye in her graduation gown, and you let her hold the golden goose. The Goose has been her local for three years and she loves it.”
“We didn't realise you had to book on a Sunday to be guaranteed a table. It was a last-minute, belated birthday meal for my grandson. Kate originally dealt with the booking and even went out of her way to call me back. Although they couldn't guarantee that our tables would be together, the following day, Julie, the manager, went above and beyond to ensure we had tables together. This was especially important as a few of our grandchildren have additional needs, and it would have been extremely difficult if the tables were apart. However, Julie made this happen. All the staff were amazing, making sure the children had coloring activities and high chairs, and giving them lots of attention. Every member of staff was very helpful, pleasant, and honestly couldn't do enough. The food was amazing, and everyone enjoyed it. There was also a very good range of children's meals. We will definitely be back very soon as a family. There aren't many places that offer excellent service and excellent food. Thank you so much to Julie and her fantastic team x”
“Booked in for one night as its really convenient when visiting the NEC. All the staff were really friendly and helpful. It was a very cold day but the bar was warm with a lovely log fire. Our room was super, the bed was comfy and there was a good selection of tea and coffee. We had a super vegetarian breakfast with lots of tea and coffee. Unfortunately we left something in the room at checkout, but Dom the manager arranged to get it back to us at their cost. Brilliant service. Looking forward to another visit.”
“Anothet pleasant visit. Was seated quite quickly and a member of staff arrived within a couple of minutes for both the drinks and food order. The food took about 30 minutes to arrive, however, it was a Sunday and quite busy so it wasnt a problem. We had the sunday roast which is the best sunday dinner we have had when eating out for a long time. Plenty on the plate and all quite tasty, the only thing we didnt like was the gravy poured over the yorkshire pudding. Overall very pleased and have allready booked for the 09/11Good service, pleasant & happy staff. Good food”
“It truly is the Home Of The Carvery, and Shenstone is lucky to have this particular restaurant on its doorstep. Why? Because the staff are so friendly, the food is so well cooked, and following the recent refurbishment the restaurant is warm, cosy and very welcoming. My little girl loves it here, and it’s a great way to get her eating healthily. Ellie and the rest of the crew always make us feel at home. Highly recommend, and it’s not expensive either. Just get the app!!”
