We both had the Royal Thali (which was beautifully presented) and struggled to finish our meals, there was so much food, but every single bit included was genuinely amazing. “Well, what can I say? From the second we entered we were made to feel like regulars and friends by a fantastic young man. He recommended the seating to be comfortable because i am disabled and a real ale which was delicious. The food was amazing. Piping hot and great quality. I had the sea bass which was beautiful and came with 2 generous fillets and a king prawn sauce with loads of whole prawns in it! My brother in law and my sister had pork belly and 10oz rib eye. He said his was best pork he had ever had and my sis was over the moon with her steak although it was very slighty over medium, which she ordered but it wasnt an issue. All the veg was to die for, fresh and al dente with good bite. We chose the Swallows from a quick google dive for Pauls birthday and were so glad we did. Yes, it is a little more on the pricey side for us but in my book worth every penny especially for a treat. So a big thank you to the amazing staff and we will return.”

“Came for lunch Beautiful sunshining day so decided to enjoy that and have lunch in the garden The place was empty so we were served quickly Some choice but not great and I would say slightly pricey It was served out to us by friendly staff and was presented well Toilets however stink and doors don't work on cubicals a real let down. Totally need to spend money fixing that problem.”

“A group of us were in from the states and searching for a pub. Little did we know, many pubs don’t serve food on Mondays. We leaned this AFTER the Uber left. Had a drink at The Dog Inn and the nice folks there suggested Saffron. So glad they did! The staff was exceptional! From the minute we walked in to saying Good Night… even helped charge my phone . The food was amazing! We all were so happy with our choices and enjoyed sharing and trying new things. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!”

“We visited today for my daughter’s birthday and Dan and his team are amazing. They were friendly and efficient, double checking all orders, and checking we were all happy. It was so lovely to feel so relaxed and to see a team that is clearly well led by Dan. I’ve always loved zizzis but this experience sets it leagues above other restaurants in Solihull. I’m sure restaurant workers get a bit bored of bringing out birthday cakes, but it didn’t show! Thank you very much!”

“I visited The Station Inn yesterday lunch time. The food was fantastic. There was an old fashioned steam roller outside serving Jacket potatoes and Nachos. The food was piping hot and lots of choice of toppings. There's plenty of free parking. The pub staff are welcoming and accommodating. The atmosphere was happy and warm. I am definitely going to visit regularly. A top notch pub. Well done.”
