“We’ve been visiting the shop for roughly about two years now, and each visit has always been amazing. Jordan’s incredibly knowledgeable about all of the animals he stocks, and is always on hand to offer that knowledge as well as advice. We popped in today as I was going to get another jumping spider anyway, but my mum also wanted to get a mantis. Jordan was brilliant when it came to advice for what species she should get as her first mantis, and we left with a lovely little spiny flower. Thank you!! ps. Snoopy loved the treats you kindly sent us away with, he had one when we got back and he was a very happy boy!”

“We have used Shearbridge Vets for over 20 years with various pets. They’re always caring, compassionate, doing the best for the animal and discussing the issues realistically. They’re give you the pros and cons of each procedure and test, advising on what is best for the animal while also considering the cost - which is unfortunately a factor we all have to consider. This company only want to do what’s best for pets and their families, they have never advised a test “just because” for profit, only for the animal’s benefit. I trust and recommend these vets to anyone who is interested / needs a vet. Whether it’s a check over or an emergency they’ve always been 100%, and we have had a couple of emergencies - including a house fire where the pets involved needed an urgent check up and were seen almost immediately. Thanks Shearbridge, I’ll be back next week!”

“Caring, compassionate and professional. Our cat was with Tweed House for 15 years, they always treated her, and us, with care and respect. They gave honest opinions and never tried to push unnecessary procedures onto us, always putting our cats welfare first. They would regularly squeeze in emergency appointments when needed, and always had a smile and a shoulder to cry on. When our cat sadly had to be put to sleep recently Tweed House were amazing. They gave us as much time as we needed, spoke to us with understanding and compassion, and even sent us a beautiful hand written sympathy card after she passed. I cannot praise them enough, they are all angels.”

“Arrived for vaccine appointment. Dealt on time no long wait. Vet checked puss over eyes teeth weight and heart before administering vaccine. Talked to my puss just as I do to reassure her through the appointment. Gave some good advice on relieving travel stress. Puss went home feeling quite content.”

“we came today to buy a few goldfish for our pond and came home with the most beautiful fish. they had a huge selection from comets to higher grade fancy goldfish. the prices were also a lot lower that everywhere else starting from only £2.40. the owners were very nice, the lady let us pick any fish and they both were very helpful. they even had birds like cockatiels, canaries ext and beautiful koi. had the best experience here, now probably our favourite aquatic shop.”

“Consistently excellent service from all the staff involved, ie, front of house staff, nurses and vets. They all have an excellent ethos of care and standards. Reception staff are always polite, friendly and helpful. Booking appointments quick, easy and they respond to issues raised speedily. Staff involved with insurance claims via Vetsure are the quickest we have experienced. All of the vets are friendly, professional and put the owners at ease. Everything is explained throughly regarding treatment plan and costs. Throughly recommended.”

“I have a pet cockatiel and she suddenly became really poorly after 2 weeks of getting her. There are no avian vets local to me and I wasn't able to travel far, so a friend recommended this place to me. I went on Monday and discussed to the man all the symptoms the bird was showing. He listened to everything and gave me advice and also gave me some antibiotic for the cockatiel. She is now much healthier again and flying around like normal. They have great customer service and are such lovely people.”
