“We popped in for lunch and told the staff that it was our 22nd anniversary. We both had the set £10 menu. I had mushroom gyōza and Kakugiri ramen and my partner had pork gyōza and Tokyo ramen and we each had a half of Kirin beer. The food was delicious and such great value and the beer was lovely and refreshing. When we came to pay, our waitress said the beer was comped to celebrate our anniversary. What a lovely gesture. Anna is the QUEEN of organisation and delicious food, and thanks to her and the team we had the perfect wedding. The cafe looked beautiful, the food was amazing (people were talking for months afterwards about the slow-cooked middle eastern lamb!) and all the staff were so friendly and worked so hard to ensure everything went smoothly. Would 100% recommend Cafe Rust as the perfect venue and it will always hold a special place in our hearts ”

It was packed, which made taking photos tricky, but I still managed to steal a few frames that felt worth it. The blonde girl at the bar greeted me with a smile. Didn’t stay for coffee this time — I was here for the light, the textures, and the visual mood. But something tells me I’ll be back, with time to sit.”
