“Really nice cafe and amazing service. I got the peri chicken toasty and it was very flavourful. Such a nice seating area and really good value for money. I highly recommend and I would love to come here again.”
“I’ve stayed here three times now and will continue to come back! It’s such a beautiful hotel and the staff are so welcoming and lovely! They have a great breakfast menu! Very clean and felt super comfortable staying here !! It’s also so close to everything ♥️”
“Nice cocktail bar with unisex toilets. Because it is so popular the waiting time can be quite slow. Nice decor and very stylish and the staff were nice. Also toilets nice and clean. All in all top marks. Wouldn't stay there all night due to prices though.”
“An absolutely wonderful experience. First time have visited and what a treat. The menu is seasonal. The food was delicious well flavoured and cooked to perfection. Staff are wonderful very welcoming and great knowledge of dishes served and the wine menu. Can't wait to go back.”
“Tried this place for the first time and it did not disappoint. The food is authentic Afghani, full of flavor, and the portion sizes are generous … you’ll definitely leave full! The menu has so much variety, it was hard to choose just one dish. Service was fast, the staff were really welcoming, and best of all, no service charge! The restaurant is easy to find and 100% halal. Definitely worth a visit if you’re craving something hearty and real.”
“We had a lovely lunch there. I got a jacket potato with coronation chicken, and a lovely salad. My husband got a panini. The service was friendly and prop mpt. The bathrooms were clean. And there is even a play area for the kiddos, inside the restaurant!”
“Had some amazing food at Casalingo. The garlic bread was so delicious. 4 of us had the seafood linguine which was superb. The others had lasagne, gnocchi and gluten free pasta steak and zucchini pasta. They gave my Dad a lovely birthday tiramisu which was a lovely touch. It was a quiet night which was surprising for a Friday. Highly recommend and would definitely go again.”
“We had a table booked for 7:30 Wednesday 14th August for 4 people. We were seated in the courtyard and it was beautiful outside under the Jumbrella - the temperature was perfect : 3 of us had the chicken skewers to start and the chicken was so well cooked it easily came off of the skewer and the garlic butter was to die for. The other had the sharing platter for 2 (the fish one) it was a perfect size for a starter and for one person even though the rest of us “helped him out” . Portion sizes perfect. For mains we had 3 steaks and the surf and turf. Really generous portion sizes, quick service, food was DIVINE it was a shame to finish. We all had the same desert the chocolate mousse choux bun and even though nobody really had room for them they went down very easily!!! We will DEFINITELY return. The manager and all of the team were so attentive, friendly and professional it was a delight to be served by them. We loved the fact that it is a dog friendly restaurant and wish that there were more restaurants like this! Keep up the good work!”
“A very nice place for evening dinning. Dogs friendly and very nice garden open space for gathering. Staffs are very friendly and good service. Small car park at the back and a very good location after Seven sisters park visit for refreshments or dinning.”
“From the moment we walked in, the staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The service was impeccable throughout our visit—friendly without being overbearing, and always on hand just when you needed them. It’s clear the team takes pride in creating a relaxed yet polished dining experience. The food lived up to every expectation. Fresh, vibrant ingredients shine in every dish, from the beautifully presented starters to the generous mains. To top it all off, dessert was a true indulgence, a perfect end to the meal.”
“The Dining Room hosted our 'after ceremony' meal in June 2022 and did a fantastic job. The venue is perfect for an intimate meal with close family, bridesmaids and best men - just what we wanted. We dropped some of our themed decorations off the day before which were all laid out for us when we arrived. The food was delicious and so unique for our special day - they accommodated for all different tastes. They offered a wide selection of drinks and you can also bring your own drinks for a corkage fee which we utilised for the toast. The location was very convenient for us due to our ceremony taking place a few minutes drive away. Our guests loved the surprise of the 'signing chef' after the speeches - a great mix of songs! They even went the extra mile and recorded a video of the 'singing chef' for us to add to our wedding video as we had missed filming it due to enjoying ourselves too much! Very reasonable pricing for a special meal. We hope to come back to celebrate our anniversary here time and time again.”
“We had a great experience in Into the Blue. You can tell all the ingredients are fresh, nothing frozen and they offer a wide array of seafood/fish for every pallet. The only thing was it was so popular that they ran out of food half way through the day! So we’d recommend getting in early on weekends. Would absolutely return.”
“Staff were helpful, food was prepared and served hastily. Amazing selection as per, Sunday roast sharing between 2 with the appropriate sides for the perfect Sunday lunch! Definitely come back again. Thanks to Georgia for the amazing service!”
“Visited today for a drink on our first ever trip to this town. The landlord and landlady were so welcoming providing us with a map and showing us various places thank you”
“Absolutely gorgeous food in a chilled relaxed pub. Inviting to children and pets. The food came out fresh and steaming hot. The portions are large and will definitely fill you up.”
“Had an amazing experience at Jonny’s in Worthing! The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. A real treat from start to finish. Special mention to CJ, whose service was incredible – attentive, friendly, and made the whole visit even better. Definitely recommend and can’t wait to come back”
“My friend and I came here for a few drinks the night before last and we would just like to comment on how socially aware, friendly and helpful the bar staff were. If you want great drinks and don’t know the area well, this is a welcoming bar. Would recommend!”
“Amazing food, fresh and homemade also the best caramel ice latte with oat milk, most importantly the staff are amazing and friendly always willing to help, surrounded in a cosy atmosphere where you have WIFI and you can relax. I highly recommend coming here.”
“Honest, tasty, cooked in small batches food (some dishes might be off the menu, worth asking what is not available). Competitive prices (especially on drinks). Had sauerkraut soup, pork ribs & goulash. All delish ! Give them a try you won't be disappointed. Clean premises. Service was speedy &polite. Polish & English spoken.”
“A lovely pub with friendly, attentive staff. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Nice and cosy seating areas didn't feel overlooked. Good atmosphere. Would definitely recommend a visit.”
“Staff are nice and friendly , and very welcoming , I love the food also and a good atmosphere vibrant and fun , and then they have multiple tv’s showing multiple sports and games etc. which is great defo recommend. And you get 10% of your drink if you download the green king sport app and it works out as one of the, if not the cheapest pint going in Worthing .”
“Great atmosphere! The locals seem very nice and happy with the place. Affordable. Top notch service, very attentive & respectful of ones privacy. Food was filling and scrumptious. 5 out of 5 from me, I shall be back again Rebari.”
“Ever been to High Brooms? No, me neither. Until today. Sunday Roast tourism takes you all round the houses. Today’s pit stop the Leicester Arms. Tip of the day: Pay the taxi fare before you’re out of signal range. The pub sits slap bang in the middle of Penshurst. Albeit Penshurst is so small it doesn’t really have a start or an end. In essence you’re between Penshurst House and Gardens and the Post Office, and opposite the town hall. The building is rustic with a warm village feel both outside and inside. Staff friendly, good toilet artwork and whole rolls of bog paper rather than the stingy dispenser nonsense - always a plus. Anyway, the roast. Oval plates that lip up at the sides with gravy up to a circa 2mm waterline leaving the hull of the potatoes and vegetables submerged. Two hearty slices of juicy pink sirloin and a Yorkshire pudding athletically perched on top. If art exists to be appreciated ad infinitum this installation was ripped apart in minutes. Devoured. 90 mins of travelling and an eating time shorter than a F1 pit-stop. Worth the visit? 100%. Washed down with a brownie that was warm, satisfyingly sludgy and had a thick slate of white chocolate inside. Lovely surprise. The menu quoted £8.50 the bill read £10. No complaints though, I would have paid £11 for it. All in a good day out.”
“Reasonable price, and service was perfect. Enjoyed the meal and loved vegetrian food served with tofu and spanich! Also I liked that the restuarant had an air-conditioner so that indoor dining was also nice! I tried to review for server for his kindness in the official website but it kept showed error..”
“Five of us on a cycling trip to Newhaven stopped here for brunch. What a find! Really good service and excellent fried breakfast - just what we needed on a cold wet day.”
“Went for our wedding anniversary, so the service was great and the food was also very good. Unfortunately, we were the only people in the conservatory, so the atmosphere was not great. However we'll worth the money and would recommend it to all.”
“I had the most wonderful experience attending the Slo Mo Networking event at the Hilton Hotel! From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed—perfect for making genuine connections without the usual rush of traditional networking events. The “slow motion” format gave everyone time to really engage, listen, and share in a way that felt natural and meaningful. The Hilton team did an incredible job of hosting—everything was beautifully organised, the space was elegant yet comfortable, and the hospitality was flawless. Great refreshments, great company, and great conversations! This event truly stands out for its quality over quantity approach, and I walked away not only with new contacts, but with real connections and inspiration. Highly recommend Slo Mo Networking at the Hilton to anyone looking to build their network in a more thoughtful and enjoyable way. I can’t wait for the next one! — Shirley Brooks, Save Bills”
“Absolutely lovely food and lovely staff ! Millie helped us with what we needed to know and was super friendly The manager was lovely and bubbly too Really well priced !”
“Always a pleasure visiting Pablos and they’re always the first choice for dining out for special occasions. The food is always amazing with very generous portions so you always feel like you’re getting your moneys worth and to top it off the customer service is always top notch with attentive and friendly waiters/waitresses. The restaurant has a good atmosphere and the toilets/tables are always clean and tidy.”
“Had lunch here with some friends. Large popular pub and not ruined by a makeover. The food was very good and reasonably priced. They have special offers depending on the day of the week. The Harvey's beer was in good condition. It was a Tuesday and fairly quiet. I understand it gets busy in the evenings and at weekends. There is a large outdoor seating area if you like that sort of thing. Will definitely go back when next in Lewes.”
