“Best soft play that I’ve taken my toddler too. It helps that they limit the amount of families in as it doesn’t feel too busy! Very clean and tidy. The food and drinks from the cafe are also good.”
“I love this place. My "go to"coffee shop. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. I have eaten here a couple of times and think the food is of a good quality and certainly value for money. Since writing this, it is closed for " refurbishment", but as that was 9 months ago, I have to accept that they have probably gone out of business. Very sad, but there are cafes galore in Hove.”
“They have an excellent Christmas menu selection. The roast turkey comes with all the trimmings. They have a good selection of Sussex wines and an adequate range of international wines - most of which are available by the glass in a range of glass sizes. We were served by Esme, who could not have been more attentive and helpful. The Sunday lunchtime crowd included several families and larger groups, resulting a lot of happy chattering. We appreciated their Christmas selection of cocktails and coffees.”
“I've really enjoyed all my visits to this cafe/restaurant, in Horam. As there's plenty of in door & out door seating. They offer an excellent selection of drinks, cake & desserts. It's also a nice place for a short stroll around their fishing ponds.”

“We love Ground, it's our favourite local coffee shop! The new location is great and the fact that they now do brunch is brilliant, we tried it for the first time today and the ultimate bacon butty is possibly the best bacon butty I've ever had. Coffee from Pharmacie Coffee Roasters is delicious and well prepared, and the staff here are always friendly. There aren't many places you can get coffee and brunch for £10. Just a lovely atmosphere, nice music and chilled vibes, a great coffee shop.”
“Food was lovely - great value for money, I also had my 2 year old with me, the cafe is very kid friendly which is brilliant! Staff were very friendly and welcoming, we will be back! xXx”

“This is a wonderful little gem of a cafe which can easily be missed along the hustle and bustle of Lewes Road. I come in and find the atmosphere inviting and very calm. Definitely a great Ma & Pa joint with plenty of friendly locals (and good food!). Cozy chairs by big windows are a great place to be for some brunch or a morning coffee. Drop by and give it a try!”
“Grabbed a cuppa tea it was £1.50! Perfect for a walk on the sea front to keep me warm. Coffee tasted nice, cappuccino was £3. The lady was really friendly. the cafe is a takeaway with 2 seats out the front. Also selling snacks, cold drinks, slushies and ice cream..”
“Nice coffee, good atmosphere and lovely food the staff was friendly with very reasonable prices we definitely recommend.”
“Great Pitts-Stop for some well earned lunch.”
“Lovely upstairs cafe, views of the river and shopping street. Always a good experience here, everything made fresh too. Expect to queue for a few minutes at busy times. One of my favourite haunts all year round.”
“Every little girls dream! Fabulous place, lovely attentive staff made Evie feel really special . She adored the makeover and wanted to go to the 'Fairies' to get her hair done the next day too! We will definitely visit again”
“Have been to the River Cafe & Bistro in Shoreham a few times in the past and always found it pleasant for a coffee and cake / pastry or sausage roll. Today we had full on breakfasts of varying sorts and all were spot on. Now my favourite cafe in Shoreham by far.”
“The wife and I had the veggie breakfast. They were cooked to perfection. I was impressed by the veggie sausages. Very nice. The service was also excellent. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely go back”
“Got a delivery from here. Really delicious burgers. Sadly they had run out of halloumi fries so could only provide a couple, but they made up for this with an extra drink and some chocolate bars. That's great customer service. Will definitely order from here from the future.”
“Good place to stop for lunch and or coffee, plenty of seating inside and outside, good choice on the menu, I had a bacon and brie panni. Very polite and friendly staff.”
“Nice, homely atmosphere. The owners are really lovely and great company. The owner's father fought in WWII and he has a fantastic display of military uniforms and photos. Even the music is from that era, which was quite relaxing and enjoyable.”
“Really helpful and friendly staff. Bacon roll heated perfectly and served with a smile. Very tasty brownie. A convenient pitstop before or after shopping for the groceries in Tesco.”

“Nestled between trusty M&S, McDonald’s and Tesco in Holmbush Shopping Centre, you wouldn’t think such great coffee would be being brewed. But clearly you can’t judge a coffee shop by its location! Great drinks menu and mouthwatering treat selection. Who doesn’t need a caffeine/sugar spike after a big shop?!”
“Coffees are great! Service is good, not sure why the other reviews slate it. Milk is foamed very well every time!”
“I joined primarily to use the gym. It is well equipped, never too busy and has a friendly atmosphere. The membership is good value. Overall I am very impressed.”
“Had my sons 5th birthday here on the obstacle course inflatables with 20 odd kids. Couldn't be happier with the service, staff and facilities! Well organised, we were allowed to view the inflatables and party rooms before booking. The week before, we had a talk through of what happens on the day. Clean facilities, happy staff, trollie for presents, kids group photo organised by staff...and all felt safe. Party room was huge, and it was equipped with a music system and tables and benches. Loads of free parking. Couldn't recommend this place enough and took the stress out of everything. Well done everyone and thank you!”
“We absolutely love this place! The food is always delicious, and the service is fantastic. Kelly goes above and beyond to make every customer happy — she’s a star. The only downside is the drinks selection — it’s a bit disappointing that they don’t serve fresh orange juice. For a lovely spot that’s perfect for Sunday brunch, you’d expect fresh juice rather than canned or bottled. Other than that, it’s a great place overall!”
“Love this place. I highly recommend the vegan sausage rolls and the Bakewell slice. Gluten-free options are available, and a good range of hot and cold drinks. Lovely setting!”
“One of my favourite brunch haunts in Brighton, this place is always bustling and rightly so. Delicious brunch options, tasteful vibrant decor and a bakery where custom where customers can purchase anything from sourdough to a brioche. Recommended!”
“me and my partner came for brunch here, had a lovely coffee made for us and a warm toasty! a nice cheaper alternative as there are a lot of expensive coffee shops in the lanes etc and so if you can't afford that, this gives you a chain place thats still made well to go to!”
“Genuinely one of the nicest spots in Brighton, especially Kemptown. Ever since the new management took over, it's become its own great little community. Plus the coffee is amazing! I wouldn't give much attention to these weird recent negative reviews, like they're written as some sort of slander or negative review bomb? I don't know just seem odd and irrelevant to me This place is in the perfect area to people watch, have delicious coffee, chill out and do your own work, and just feel like you're part of the vibe of the city without all the noise The staff there are really nice too, just super friendly and engaging. A beautiful little community that's an easy stroll from town and also a great local. Highly recommend! (P.S. Ask for Felicia the owner if you'd like the best service)”
