“I popped in for brunch and honestly, it was amazing! The Bottomless Berry Pancakes were the best I've ever had, and the Bills Brunch was just lovely and hit the spot. Plus, that latte was perfect – seriously, every sip was bliss. The service was spot-on and the place was super clean, making for a top-notch atmosphere. I left feeling really happy and can't wait to return!”

“With a large choice of vegetarian food in Brighton it can be hard to find a great place to eat. Some of the larger restaurants are marvellous but if you want quality on the go, or just seated in the pedestrian area then this place is a bit of a gem. Quick service, simple menu and fresh products. Staff who will chat and tell you about the process of making fresh falafel. Please do drop by and try it. We did and really recommend it.”

“A really lovely spot. Really cozy atmosphere and lots of seating. My mum and I came here for a coffee/light bite and were very pleasantly surprised with how much choice there was. She had a long black (which was the perfect size) and the spinach & feta borek, which she said was “the nicest thing I’ve ever eaten”. I had an almond bakewell slice and an oat-based matcha latte (which was the best I’ve had to date)! The service was great — when we arrived they were fairly busy with breakfasts (it’s obviously well loved by the locals) so they communicated this to us, and we were also informed when our food was up next. 10/10 would eat here again.”

“Such a lovely surprise! We were visiting Lewes and just wanting a nice cup of tea, and stumbled upon this lovely gem. The back room had a lovely tea service, including a small escape room game that can be played, great service, tasty scones. It did fill up quickly as only 4-5 tables in the back, so there could be a wait (but it is worth it!)”

Great for wheelchair users and my fussy dad who felt very at ease and enjoyed his butterfly chicken immensely. This has not been my first visit because I like to go back to see if the food is consistent which it is hence this review. I'll be back again soon”

“We were really impressed with our Sunday lunch.. both the beef and nut roast were lovely with a great selection of veg ( not overcooked as is often the case in your standard pub lunch ). Accompanied by a crispy home made Yorkshire. We brought our own wine (£6 corkage).. Dessert a choice of Pavalova or Blackberry /Apple crumble - generous portions. We are in the rear garden that offered sun & shade and we had a 2 piece jazz band for company. A really nice way to spend a Sunday afternoon.”

A great place to relax while you stress over the car, or on any other day you feel like a coffee. Friendly staff, the iced latte was really nice and the cakes are a nice temptation. Definitely would recommend it here and will definitely be coming back”

“Seems like mostly a takeaway place, very limited seating inside. My wife and I stopped by for our first fish & chip experience in the UK. It was great! Unlike the places down on the beach in Brighton you couldn’t smell semi-rancid oil from a block away. Everything here was fresh and clean. Our fish was cooked to order and the portions were much larger that expected. We are in town for three weeks, and we will definitely return.”

Tommy, Tim and all the staff are great too. They also have a great selection of wine and cider, friendly locals also add to the all round great vibe of the place. Proper pub!”

Bought a unique pair of black Dickies trousers that fit me perfectly only for £20. The staff/owners of the shop are super friendly and helpful. 10/10 recommend.”

Their Christmas nut burger was a delightful mix of flavours and textures. The loaded fries with vegan cheese and red onion chutney was delicious.”

I had a tuna jacket which was divine and the side salad was a dish in itself, fresh and honestly one of nicest salads I’ve had. “We ordered the chicken platter for 2.it had more than enough meat for two people. We thoroughly enjoyed it as it was all cooked to perfection and was so juicy. I loved the red cabbage salad that came with it, however they've stopped doing the pomegranate dressing which is a shame! The cous cous is very tasty as well. The restaurant has a good vibe and staff are really helpful. They serve Efes beer as well.”
