He was very polite and had change ready for me straight away. Don't normally tip but he was fantastic and gave great service. Well done! Will order again for sure!”

“Honestly never had a bad experience here. We ordered again last week and both Currys were delicious, we had Achari chicken and one of the house specials. Pilau rice and the mince and chilli stuffed Naan. Also received complimentary onion bhajis. Food was piping hot, clearly freshly made. Bread was fluffy and tasty and rice bang on. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, when I went to collect. Support a local business and give it a go!”

“Ordered two Singapore Vermicelli Rice Noodles via Uber Eats app on Sunday evening. Arrived swiftly and they were both extremely tasty and full of meat and prawns. Absolutely delicious curry flavour and perfect heat. Probably the best Singapore Noodles that I have had in over 40 years of eating Chinese food. I will be ordering the same again tomorrow, Thursday 27th July to the Doubletree Hilton, Redcliffe Way, BS1. I will try to remember to take photos, if I'm not too excited. I did remember but the photo does not do the dish justice. It was packed with meat, chicken and prawns. I've already eaten some before I remembered to take the pic. The second order was slightly more spicy but absolutely still one of the best I have ever had. Based on both takeaways. I feel that a 5 star rating is a fair reflection of the food and our overall experience.”

“Well, this place is definitely a hidden gem! Really well decorated, perfect table settings, the food was excellent, the service was quick and friendly. I loved the glasses used for coke, and the little fish which acts as a chopstick holder. Nice touches. A perfect Sunday night meal.”

“Have been a regular for quite some time, and Hong Kong Garden has always been our preferred Chinese takeaway in Shepton Mallet. The food has always been good and portions plentiful. I felt the need to review, as last night's meal was exceptional. The salt and chilli chicken wings were so tasty and crunchy. The beef fried rice was perfect with large, tender, perfectly cooked pieces of beef. The whole meal was so good. Thank you Hong Kong Garden, definitely money well spent and we'll be back again soon.”

The only negative is the bag the delivery driver had was a bit past it definitely needs a new one but this is going to be our Chinese from now on.”

One waitress saw that we didn't have any water and asked if we wanted some, which I felt was really good service and the water was already being brought by someone else, so we felt very well attended and looked after. “OMG absolutely incredible!!! I had Fried Chicken Katsu Curry and Noodles & Crispy Hoisin Duck Bao - 10/10. The bao was super soft, hoisin sauce was rich (duck was a little chewy but that is expected from duck) and was massive portion. Bit portion for the noddles - had enough for leftovers the next day. Will come back again”

Everything was well-presented and kept fresh, and I especially appreciated the dishes being cooked to order right in front of you. The quality of the food was impressive, and the flavors were delicious across the board. The staff were also friendly and attentive, which made the overall experience even better. So far, this is the best buffet I’ve had in the UK – great value for money and definitely worth a visit. I’ll be coming back again!”

“Ordered takeaway on UberEats, there was a buy one get one free deal on a lot of the dishes. Really good price, all the dishes were still hot when they arrived, delivery took 20 mins from when I placed the order. I really liked the braised chicken thigh, chow mein tasted good, and the fried tofu was nice too. Definitely recommend for an affordable Chinese takeaway!
