“Went to get food and had the pup with us, asked if it was ok for her to come in, which they ladies said yes. Got a lovely baguette and the most amazing nutella brownie. Will defo be going back!”
“Very enjoyable traditional English tea rooms with properly made teas and some excellent cakes. Set in an enjoyably quaint craft village, it provides a pleasant break while touring round the area. Friendly lady running it, and some lovely views of the river and wildlife.”
“My favourite stop between Bristol and Bath. Absolutely beautiful and a lovely attraction to add to your journey. Cheap prices and a fantastic range of different meals I am stunned at what they can provide! A wonderful place to stop if you're cycling past on the Bristol / Bath Cycle Path. There is also a fantastic charity called wheelers that runs next to the waiting rooms that helps people with accessibility needs enjoy the wonders of cycling, I would highly recommend!”
“Tried this coffee shop for the first time today. Very friendly family run, applying all the Coronavirus measures and really safe! Don't expect a fry-up breakfast but small bites on toast, light lunches and good, Brian Wogan, coffee. In a venue displaying local crafts. This will become one of our regular venues!”
“Had a lovely pink chai and a very tasty raspberry pastry! COCO is an amazing place to start the day!”
“We love having breakfast or brunch here as it's one of our favourite breakfast places in our neighbourhood. Lots of selections on the menu, tasty food, and good coffee choices. It can get very busy on weekends, a testament on how popular and well-liked this place is. Friendly and professional staff with special mention to Mo who accommodated our small request. Overall, a lovely weekend experience.”
“Really great venue, such a unique space. Huge room with dramatic sky light. Nowhere else like it in Bath. Coffee & juices excellent. Enjoyed my bacon bap with great hash browns. Young staff but very much on the ball. Recommended.”
“Lovely Afternoon Tea Experience in the Heart of Bath We visited this location for Afternoon Tea and had a really beautiful experience. We arrived around 2:30 PM and were lucky to catch a live piano concert, which added an elegant touch to the atmosphere. The standard Afternoon Tea menu was around £100 for two people, which felt fair considering the amount of food included. There is plenty to eat — definitely more sweet than savoury — but everything was fresh and nicely presented. The service was very kind and attentive, and the interior is absolutely charming. One of the highlights is the back rooms, where the walls display the history of the place and its connection to the Roman Baths. It’s actually linked to the Pump Room, and if you choose to visit the Pump Room and then the Roman Baths afterwards, you can skip the main queue, which is a great bonus. Overall, if you’re visiting Bath and want a traditional Afternoon Tea in a beautiful and historic setting, I definitely recommend this place.”
“We didn't call in to the cafe but the building is lovely and the location speaks for itself.”
“This is one special place with very very good coffee and the decaf is so rich enough to make you ask if they’ve got your order right. It’s cosy and quite small but packs quite a few people in and I’ve heard when its really busy people have to stand on each others shoulders to make room and pass the coffee up and down which sounds like fun … Of course that wouldn’t be necessary if it were bigger but then it wouldn’t be as cosy would it now… The staff, lovely people and occasionally there’s a stand up comedian who’s doing an internship there. Sausage rolls will be warmed on request and they’re so big you’ll have to take an end each to lift one on to your plate .. Love the place… when I grow up I want to work there”
“The best toasty I have ever had! Amazing cakes. Beautiful place to watch the canal. Toilets close by if you have a radar key. Cafe also has a key. Close to large car park. Highly recommend.”
“A beautiful little cafe. Everyone who works here is so lovely. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and the pricing is the best you’ll find around for a proper breakfast. An absolute joy to visit every time.”
“I've had a lot of breakfasts out and this is definitely one of the best. Their homemade harrisa baked beans and hash browns are excellent, as is their homemade brown sauce. Service is quick and friendly Delicious coffee too. I hesitate to make this public because the locals want to keep it to themselves but they deserve a great review.”
“Fantastic coffee, great selection of treats and a loyalty programme that’s brilliant for when you come back for more”
“A delightful little cafe, and with an excellent purpose. We have visited regularly in recent years but a visit two days ago reminded me what a gem it is: lovely food, excellent value and a nice, friendly atmosphere :)”
“incredible flat white and the cookies are the best i’ve ever had! staff were so lovely, lovely little cafe :) side note - the playlist was amazing, this place has great vibes!”
“Great local cafe. Good coffee, wide range of cakes. Good light meal range. Seating inside and uncovered seating outside in fairly quiet side road.”
“Very nice cafe. Really nice breakfast. We will definitely come here again. Clean and tidy place throughout.”
“We popped in yesterday for lunch whilst in the area for a couple of days. So pleased we did, friendly welcoming service & one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. Wonderfully fresh, thick granary bread & proper home carved ham. My husband’s club sandwich looked amazing. Really generous portions, great value for money. We would definitely return.”
“Staff are welcoming and friendly Reasonably priced Breakfast is yummy and massive”
“Went for the tapas evening and was very impressed. The ambience was amazing - you wouldn’t think you were in the middle of Frampton Cotterell! The food and service excellent. Perfect for a date night, celebration meal or a catch up with friends. Do yourself a favour and go to the next one.”
“Popped in for lunch with the girlfriend. Ordered bacon omelette and a beans and cheese jacket potato. Mine was delicious and the girlfriend said her omelette was the best she'd ever had! Waited around 10mins for food. Great atmosphere, lots of friendly locals and friendly service from the staff. Would definitely visit again when in the area.”
“What a super place. Warm and welcoming for us, and our four legged friends. Great coffee and the ice creams were a popular choice for the children.”
“Every time we're in Bristol we visit this coffee shop. The coffee is just how we like it. The staff are friendly and remember us even though we aren't regularly there. The decor is cool and the big window is lovely to sit at and watch the world go by. Really recommend this cafe.”
“I have food intolerances and I just loved that the ingredients in your cakes etc are on the display case. It felt so good to not be a nuisance asking for more information on another product. I'm a grown up and if I'm given the full information I can make my own choices. This is because you make your own food from base ingredients.”
“Great place for food. Although usually have the breakfast. Friendly staff.”
“A small cafe which has been created to provide a training environment for the adjacent additional needs school. Great cakes and baguettes well served by the students. Also incredible value for money, 2 Coffees, a baguette and a slice of lemon cake. £10.50.”
