“This is a very basic sleeping facility. Food is available at the hotel and Spa, and at a Cafe just beside the Lodge. Ample packing. Only flip side is the checking in at the hotel and spa, I came in with family in the rain and had to run back by foot to check in. Ambience is very lovely as well.”

“Very nice, cheap and friendly hotel. When we got to our room it smelled of cigarettes, but when we said about it they where very quickly to change it to another room, with a better view and with neutral smell. They did confuse our breakfast ( which was included with a room, for one night, for 2, 70£ ) but to fix it they gave us extra food. Was lovely, would definitely recommend it, if You don't want to break Your bank and still have a cosy night.”

“Really friendly staff always happy to help. It’s actually the first place I try to get a room when I know I’m working close. But to be honest I even traveled an hr from site just to stay at this specific hotel. The gym is clean and has plenty of equipment and I always jump in the sauna after and sometimes to finish off I’d visit the pool. All the facilities are great just like the staff. Oh and my room was always clean and fresh when I arrived back each day. Looking forward to working around that area again”

“Sue is amazing at what she does! I have never had nails last as long as the nails that sue does! I have a horse that I have to care for and my nails never used to last but when I stated going with Sue she has helped me not only grow my nails but make them last 3 weeks plus!! There is so many colours to choose from and sometimes I can spend way to long! Sue always offers to paint the colours on to help me choose what I want to go for! Not only is Sue incredibly at nails she also is a lovely person! I always look forward to our chats and always have a great time!”

“We had breakfast this morning and I can only praise the staff on reception and in the restaurant. They were so friendly and helpful nothing was too much bother. My husband had a lovely cooked breakfast which he said was one of the best he had! We are all quick to criticise so it’s nice to be able to compliment staff who were so helpful and I told them so.”

“We stayed here for a local wedding and it was absolutely beautiful. We arrived in the middle of a stoke that cut out the villages power and Jenny was fantastic! Made sure we had battery lights in our room, hot water bottles in our bed for us arriving back home. Wasn’t able to have a cooked breakfast but she really went above and beyond to get us toast (cooked on the open fire) and fantastic Greek yogurt. It’s a fantastic home with a super friendly host. Highly recommend!”

“We had Sunday lunch here with the family and it was excellent. The food was lovely, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and it’s dog-friendly too — the garden room was perfect for us. Mike was really accommodating and made sure everything went smoothly. Would recommend!”

“Perfect in every way. Arrived late on our bikes and we were treated to a lovely meal, I haven’t experienced such warm hospitality in a long time. Room was lovely and you can really see the attention to detail and effort Rose and Colin put in. “We had a friendly welcome, we upgraded when we got there as we wanted a bigger room as was staying there a few days. We was away for my husbands birthday( the room we changed from was immaculate, just upgraded to a suite) .. This is a beautiful building, the decor is slightly dated, it was very clean, the suite was huge, beautiful view, the breakfast was faultless, they ask you the day before what you would like, this worked out really well, as well as what was on the cooked menu there was a bowl of freshly prepared fruit to help yourselves, plenty of juices, cereals etc. I would recommend people staying as location is perfect, the staff are excellent and is very clean. Bus stop near the hotel if you wanted to bus into bath. I will definitely be returning there.”

“Service was immaculate. Breakfast and evening meal were amazing. Reception staff went above and beyond. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend. Room was spacious and had a great view over the water. Close to the city centre everything was a stones throw a way. The pool closed the week before we came which was a little disappointing but didn’t really affect us as there was plenty in the area to do. Thanks to the Holland House team for making our weekend so amazing.”

“Friendly staff. Heating wasn't working in our room and no other rooms available so gave us a portable heater with a lot of apologies for it not working. Didn't try the food as the menu was limited but one of the staff mentioned the pub across the road and I would recommend going there as the food was excellent and staff friendly and less than a 10 min walk.”

“Stayed 2 nights at the beginning of August with my dog who had major surgery at Bristol Vets Specialists which was a 10 minute walk away. Was so convenient, especially as pets were allowed. Staff were amazing, particularly Katie, who gave hugs and empathy the day my dog had surgery, I would also like to thank Nicola and Sian too. Highly recommended, I will always remember their kindness, thank you.”

“Visited bath to relax and chill from the hustle bustle of London. Was very lucky to get to visit this hostel in bath it was very clean tidy beds were comfy. Real smart mod con facilities usb points in beds plugs even a reading light What more could you ask for. I felt like a flash packer not a backpacker ☺️ I Was checked in by Louise she told me all about the facilities and very professional was even given a free drink for booking on there site. She made me feel welcome great service and hospitality. Josh was great to good customer service made me feel welcome. Zach was great to very professional and helped me with all the questions I had during my stay. If your in bath definitely look these guys up”

“We walked down to here for our meal the first night we stayed at Basecamp. The firepit was going with lots around it doing smores. There were tons of tables and the place as super clean and the staff really helpful and friendly. The pizza was really nice and my children loved them and my pulled pork fries were very flavourful and filling. The general atmosphere here is nice and they have live music also at times. Very much worth the visit.”

“Location was excellent, only a few minutes walk from the harbour restaurants, 15min walk to the city centre, and 10mins to the O2 Academy. Staff were friendly and helpful at check-in. I stayed in a private room. It was small, with just a bed and a side cupboard, but it was exactly what I needed, and cost literally 1/4 of the next cheapest accommodation in the centre, so great value. Bed was comfortable, and all the bedding was washed and clean. Communal bathroom was very clean. I arrived back around 12:30am after going to a concert. Was buzzed in straight away. Had a good night's sleep....no noise whatsoever from anyone else in the hostal. At checkout, was given my £20 deposit back straight away, all very quick and easy. I'll definitely stay here again the next time I need to stay in the city centre.”

“I used to stay for 2 weeks due to house move with my wife and my little son. Very quiet location, good transport bus lines, for those who drives is literally 1 min from M5 motorway. Rooms are kept good condition and clean. Seen housekeepers working hard! Couldn't catch one of the receptionist yang girl name but she was very helpful and always smiling to my little son, she helped us to book a taxi with recomendation! Nice hotel overall, I would recommend and would stay there again! Thank you very much!”
