“Lovely old theatre, centrally located, seats quite comfortably with leg room so your knees are not rammed up against the seat in front. We saw Thank ABBA for the music. They are a fantastic group, the best abba tribute band around, the stage, lighting and even base sound was spot on. The staff were friendly and efficient, a credit to Blackwood. The theatre brings people into Blackwood town for pre theatre drinks and meals, which helps local businesses. Let’s hope Caerphilly county council realise this and don’t close the place. Thank you for a wonderful evening.”

“So it turns out that there’s more than one of these cafes and this one is great too. Location is fantastic on the corner of Victoria Park and the corner position is ideal for catching some sun on a nice day. Food and coffee is excellent with the savoury Welsh cakes being a signature option here and at the Roath location. Really friendly staff - shout out to Robin for a lovely conversation with my breakfast. They also had posters up for Dirty Gnocchi doing evening food there, so we will definitely be back for that. Unexpected in this location but definitely recommended. There’s also parking outside, which is at a premium in this area.”

“We’ve had such a great afternoon at Poro.I never leave a review but wanted to tonight as I picked up as soon as I walked in that the staff were brilliant ,the atmos was lovely and cozy and that we were in for a lovely evening. The food was fantastic and the Gluten free options were plenty and thoughtful. What made it for us was the staff. They were so tentative, and timing was impeccable…. We never had to ask for anything… they were on it. I will definitely be back again and will recommend to friends and family. A perfect afternoon. Thank You”

“Lovely place to visit. It's only a smallish pier easy to walk to end and back. The pier is beautifuly looked after and well maintained, public toilets on the pier were clean and well maintained. “Since costa on albany road closed I have been on the odd occasion popping into Coffee#1 across the road and Its such a cozy and welcoming coffee shop, Theres a lovely girl with brown hair and glasses and a tallish man with brown hair too (Didn’t get to catch her name) I spoke to both were so helpful and wonderful and the girl who took my order was cheerful and always had a smile on her face, She was really helpful and told be about their seasonal beans (although i did opt for the regular one) She even brought the drink over to me which was an amazing tasting coffee! and has a little chat before going back to work. If anyone is in the area I really do recommend coming here as the staff are really friendly and helpful and the environment is overall really welcoming!”

“Best farm I've ever been to, a hidden gem. I volunteered here through a work charity day yesterday and was in awe of how friendly the staff were, how beautiful the farm is and how friendly the animals are. A lot of these animals are rescued and you can see how happy they are there and the amazing relationships they have with the whole team. The woodland walk is beautiful, there's a reason certain plants, fungus, dead bark etc is left in the woodland and a team member called Matt did an amazing job at explaining this to us, super educational do ask questions when there! Honestly this farm exceeded my expectations, massively under rated, the team are incredible. It's an absolute must on your family day out! A must on a work day out too!”

We couldn't have asked for anything better. The venue was perfect and the staff were so professional, very helpful and accommodating to any of our requests. It was a very special and magical day. “My daughter had her 5th birthday party at Jump n Jackz. The staff have always been very helpful and quick to respond to my messages. I had to rearrange the party as my daughter was poorly and they were able to offer a new date at no extra charge. The party itself was well organised, all I had to do was bring a cake! Brooke was very attentive and great with the kids. The play equipment was very clean, so much so they flew down the slides! Thanks for a lovely morning!”

“Cosy store in cosy location. Feels very friendly. However, it seems there's a slight problem with management. I picked up a tub of yoghurt and it spilled all over me.. it was open!! Also, in the big water section, there were no multi pack of normal water, only individual bottles.”

“I went to the pill store yesterday, go through the till I want to use my reward points wasn’t sure how to use them so the lady on the till called some young girl over. She was very rude and didn’t have a clue. I just walked away and left me stood there so they called a lady call Janet. I can’t believe how helpful she was a polite, amazing lady I told a young girl she needs to take a leaf out of this ladies book you You might learn something thank you Janet again for being so helpful”
