This was actually my second time attending—my first visit was with a friend to make stack rings (which we both still love and wear all the time), and this time I came along with my brother to make spinner rings. Jude was incredibly kind and understanding when we had an emergency and needed to reschedule, and she made the whole process so easy and stress-free. The workshop itself was such a brilliant day—we had so much fun, and we’re absolutely in love with our finished rings. It’s amazing to walk away with something handmade that looks so professional and feels so personal. My brother and I haven’t stopped raving about the experience since. Jude creates such a relaxed, friendly atmosphere, and is fantastic at guiding you through each step without it ever feeling overwhelming. Whether you’re going solo, with friends or family, I wholeheartedly recommend booking in—you’ll not only come away with beautiful jewellery, but lovely memories too.”

“Really lovely clean rooms with a 10/10 breakfast, welcoming kind staff and the perfect setting for children with the small park and fish pond. My only feedback would be the curtains. The room was lovely and bright, as the front wall and door are all windows, but this did mean that it didn't get fully dark until gone 10pm (if at all) and was very bright by 5am, granted this was exacerbated by having a toddler in tow, so might not bother others as much. We will be back for sure!”

“That's a very solid whiskey shop by any standard! I was especially interested in them selling the Taiwanese Kavalan whiskey, but of course they also have a fantastic choice of Scottish and Irish whiskeys as well. Highly recommended for any whiskey lover!”

We always enjoy a meal here and it is definitely one of the best in South Wales. The price is also very reasonable and you will think you’ve enjoyed this much more than certain Indian restaurant in Cardiff that cost you twice as much but give you half of the portion. “Went here for "Chicken Tuesday" recently and had a lovely meal. Fresh hot food and attentive staff. Worth saying they had the worlds most awkward table of customers near to us and handled the situation very well considering how rude and obnoxious the couples son was. It's a shame there's not a better cider selection or anything on tap but no complaints apart from that. Will definitely visit again ☺️”
