“Kathy & her staff are excellent, make you feel very welcome. Do not let the cost fool you. Personally I’ve stayed in other establishments that have cost a lot more & haven’t measured up to anywhere near to what the Parklaneguesthouse does. Your room is cleaned every day, fresh towels every day & coffee & tea topped up every day. The entire place is spotless. It’s that great a place, cost & facilities, that I walk for 45 minutes in morning to get to work. Do not pass bye. Stephen”

“Barry was a great host, accepted us last minute when our plans changed and we didn't have anywhere to stay. Rooms were OK for a guest house, didn't need anything more. A nice guest lounge with comfortable sofas and books, great breakfast ordering system that we unfortunately couldn't try. If I'm ever back in Newport, I'll be staying here again.”

“WE SURVIVED yes that's right survived what can only be described as the worse place to stay in Cardiff From the time you arrive be on your guard Weed is apparent as soon as you arrive in the building and the dealers running up and down the halls al night are not quiet The room it's self is magical rose gold walls dirty beds dirty floors kettle with no cups tele that is smashed furniture broken and beds that have no base I can honestly say trap houses are cleaner”

“Most responsive agency I’ve been with during my whole time at uni. They fixed issues raised with them quickly and efficiently through an online portal they have for maintenance requests. Although they were slow with emails, if you called them or submitted requests through the maintenance portal they were really good. We had no trouble getting our full deposit back. Cathays is known for having some dodgy housing agencies but I did not have any issues with JNR.”

“Very impressed with the size, location and price of this recent Hotel stay. Impeccably clean, very spacious and airy. All things needed at hand including hair dryer, ironing board plus iron, toiletries and towels. Good size comfortable bed and plenty of tea/coffee/sugar to use. One drawback only is no lift but knew that before booked. Recommended as in the heart of the City Centre and perfect for train and bus locations which are literally around the corner.”
