“Had the most complicated set of returns ever with multiple purchases at different stores and hundreds of receipts. Obviously tried to deal with it on busy evening right before Christmas, when we were en route (and running late) for a class. Laura the supervisor was absolutely brilliant. It didn't phase her at all and what I had pre-empted being a time consuming disaster was dealt with quickly, clearly and we were on our way in minutes. This is the customer service I didn't think existed in shops anymore: super knowledgeable about the policies and system, and polite too. Thank you Laura, for making Christmas that little bit easier!”

“The shop floor is tidy and well arranged. They have sale going on which they kept all together. I was collecting and I found staff at pay area straight away. I think finding order details is not that easy. They ask name order number two or more times to find the order in system. Simple bar code would be simpler and less time consuming. Overall good experience.”

Working in retail I expected them to say they had no control of online orders, which I'd know to be true. However, the manager Megan was brilliant, she took complete ownership of the issue and resolved it for me right then. “Needed a new Windbreaker. Called the Weston Super Mare branch. James, who took the call, told me he had a few left. So I asked him to put one by for me, which he did. Went on to collect it later that day, and he said, as he only had a few left, he'll give me an extra 10% off. Brilliant! Once, back at camp, found the poles to be different to what they should be. Called James, and he said, no worries, bring it back, and I'll exchange it for another one. Which he did, without any issues. And as a bonus, as he said, this will end up in the bin, as it's wrong, I'll give you the 4 correct pieces of pole, so you have spares. Fantastic! Brilliant service. Thank you so much James, you are an absolute superstar!”

“Very conveniently located Argos. We usually order online for in-store collection and find most items are available on the same day. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. We have had to return a few items over the years and have always found this to be a fairly straightforward and painless experience. The shop shares a car park with the wider retail park which can get busy at times. The car park is usually much quieter in the evenings and I have always been able to park fairly close to the entrance. Staff are usually happy to help you take larger items to your car if necessary. There are a couple of disabled spaces near the shop entrance. As these are quite limited, you might want to try to visit at a quieter time of day if you will need a disabled space.”
