“We visited as a large group to celebrate a birthday, and both the food and service were fantastic. The staff did an excellent job serving all 13 of us efficiently, and everyone’s steaks were cooked perfectly. The house wine was great value too. When it came to settle at the end, the bill didn’t clearly list each item, which made it a bit awkward to work out what everyone owed. I’m worried that the extra tip each of us contributed, may have been accidentally absorbed into the remaining balance for the person who paid last. I think due to this, we didn’t leave anything for the wonderful service. This was totally our fault! We will make up for it when we return as we’ll definitely be back!”

“Everything about this place is perfect. The decor is warm, welcoming and charming. The service is friendly and the food is really tasty and great value for money. My grandparents are regulars and recommended the place and it will now be a definite place to go when I am back in the area on another Somerset visit! Would recommend and return.”

“I highly recommend Sleepee Teepeezz! The Teepee’s are beautiful, and the photos really don’t do them justice, when you see them set up they really have the WOW factor. Diane spent time on set up to make sure everything was perfect and the attention to detail was excellent. My daughter and her friends had the most wonderful sleepover party. “The Underdog is such a hidden gem. It’s usually not very busy, but if more people knew about it, the place would be packed! 2 for 1 cocktails before 7pm, great selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, 2 pool tables that take coins, great atmosphere and really friendly staff.”

“Situated on Weston super Mares High Street opposite where Marks and Spencers once traded from. It's been open for a year now and is sandwiched between Mountain Warehouse and Fone World. Service was first class and I had the quickest cooked breakfast I've ever ordered. It also filled the spot just like a fry up ought to. Cafe probably seats around 50 customers with the option to sit out front on a warmer day. Staff were very friendly. I'll be sure to pop in again.”

“Superb restaurant experience. 1st time here but not the last it doesn’t matter that this wonderful place is situated in the middle of an housing estate nor does it matter that the main car park is small and awkward, all that matters is the quality of service and food which is excellent. The standard of cookery and quality of the Welsh meats is of the highest order, my son and I both agree that the Chateaubriand was the best and most flavoursome we have ever tasted anywhere. The ‘Firey’ Scallops were an explosion of flavours that will provoke debate. The desserts were a delight and beautifully presented. Our young server Bonnie-Rae was excellent, polite and courteous, her manner enabled us to really enjoy a more relaxed and informal evening, she fully explained all courses including allergies and the extensive GF options.”

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism. A big thank you to Jamie on reception, who was incredibly friendly and polite – he made us feel instantly welcome and set the tone for a fantastic stay. Our room was stunning – beautifully decorated, spacious, and spotlessly clean. The highlight was definitely the spa bath in the room, which added a luxurious and relaxing touch to our evening. It was the perfect way to unwind. We also had the chance to dine at the hotel’s restaurant, and the food was nothing short of amazing. Every dish was full of flavour and beautifully presented. Special mention goes to restaurant managers Haley and Sam T, who were both outstanding – attentive, professional, and clearly passionate about delivering a great dining experience. All in all, The Coal Exchange exceeded our expectations in every way. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!”

“This historical Welsh public house has so much rich history. The pub is currently being run to a fantastic standard and is a joy to see punters returning. My only concern is the fight the pub now has with its Brewery owner selling the building with an application for change of use to offices for new owners. This would be short of criminal to Welsh heritage.”

“This is is a very friendly pub, the staff will always make you feel welcome and do what they can to make your night better. The beer selection is good and it also tastes very good, you won't find as much choice in the other pubs. On the weekends they have various entertainment from acoustic to bands and everyone taps there feet. There have also recently started doing cocktails and I have tried a few and they are tops. If your passing make the effort you won't be disappointed.”
