In Warwickshire alone CAMHs currently has approximately 10,000 young people on their waiting list! I made hundreds of calls to different services over six months trying to get help but once I'd managed to get an appointment with Whitestone they have been amazing. From the team on reception to the mental health practitioners, their support has been outstanding, they've been kind, understanding and professional and a massive support for myself and my family at a time of crisis. I am often then offered an appointment on the day I ring, if there's a need. I have always been seen within a few minutes of the appointment time. However, I found the Surgery and all of the Team that I have dealt with to be nothing but courteous, helpful, professional and extremely kind. None of my requests, on behalf of my Uncle have been straightforward, yet every single request has been efficiently dealt with. I could not have asked for more support and will always be grateful for the compassion which the Surgery have provided to my family as well as me. I managed to get the names of two very helpful colleagues, Freya and Elaine. Both were incredibly helpful and each one exceeded my highest expectations.
