“Birthday Lunch at the private dining room. The service was very good. They made sure we always have drinks and that we are happy with our dishes. The food was delicious we all had Sunday roasts. The planning was also very smooth , they were responsive and communicated well.”
“Really impressed, we were a large group without a booking and they accommodated us perfectly and the service was brilliant. Food was significantly better than expected too, Chicken Burger particularly was really good portion size… we’ll be back!”
“Delicious food at great prices; quick, friendly service; authentic decor.”
“Fabulous cuisine. Tried the steak, seabass, minestrone soup and tiramisu dessert. The steak was like striking the palate with unforgettable memory.”
“Had a couple of takeaways in the past from here when in the area. Had one again last night and it is just as great as I remember. There curry is outstanding one of the best I've had, and I've had a few! Friendly service and can pay by card through the website, which is very useful unlike most Chinese takeaways which are cash only. Highly recommended.”
“Massive portions, great taste and quality!”
“Had one of the best steaks I've had in a long time at the Hatton Arms. The Gloucester 28-day aged ribeye was full of flavour and cooked to perfection. The chips were excellent, twice cooked, golden brown and crunchy. It came with mushrooms and a tomato, and the peppercorn sauce was served in a huge gravy boat. It was very tasty and complemented the steak well. A very good meal. Thank you.”
“Lovely staff, very attentive. Was busy on a Thursday so if your a group it would probably be worth booking. You can tell a lot from an Indian restaurant from their pompadoms & these were crispy, hot & freshly cooked. Onion bhajis & aloo chaat for starters (it wasn’t authentic chaat but tasted nice) onion bhajis was delicious. We had seen the size of portions coming out so ordered “side” size & we still couldn’t finish it all. Fish tika was lovely as were dhal & potatoes. Favourite was paneer makhani, it was delicious but again wasn’t a traditional makhani. Paratha, rice & 3 pints of cobra. It was all great & if I lived in Warwick I’d eat here all the time”
“It's a beautiful place. The meals are freshly made and absolutely delicious. The staff is very kind and attentive. I was fortunate to have been here. We hope to return to this restaurant in the future!”
“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I ordered spring rolls from Ruby Chinese Takeaway today and they were absolutely delicious! The food was fresh, tasty, and full of flavor. The service was friendly and quick as well. I’ll definitely be ordering again and highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys great Chinese food!”
“Visited for early evening meal after finishing trading on a market stall for the day. Had a lovely turkey and ham hock pie which definitely seemed home made, stuffed with filling and the lashings of extra gravy was delicious. Really friendly young waiting staff. Will definitely return.”
“Yesterday, as a family we attended with our 2 Chow Chows for a family reunion. Such a wonderful location, easy access and truly dog friendly. Ema and the whole team were so accommodating, obliging and receptive and the food was superb with extra helpings of the most fluffy overflowing yorshires! Thank you R and C...all of you. Sundip Patel and Family. See you next year!”
“Went for a meal with friends and stayed over. Such a lovely welcome, great service and an absolutely delicious breakfast. Gorgeously decorated bedrooms with a lot of thought gone into the decor and details! We will be back again soon!”
“We are staying in the area for the week and pick up this takeaway for our evening meal.the food and services are very good.”
“Came here for a roast dinner and it was lovely. The roasties and Yorkshire puds were excellent. There was fast service and lovely staff. Manager was so friendly and waiters were so lovely. Drinks were very good. I can’t stress enough how lovely this pub is and how massive the garden it’s such a sun trap. Best pub I’ve seen in a long time. Definitely would recommend and I will be bringing the family here.”
“Very nice fast food. Staff is friendly and the shop is one of the cleanest i saw. When visiting the Kenilworth Castle we had a few choices around but decided on Friends because of the food and prices... the fish was one and a half foot long... Chips are crispy and portions are huge. Would definitely eat there again.”
“Loved the food here! Everything is made fresh on the spot, and you can really taste the quality. The flavors are amazing and authentic, the ingredients taste super fresh, and even the packaging is great — everything was hot and well packed. You can tell they put real care into their food. Highly recommend!”
“Excellent food, highly recommend”
“Visited the Copper Pot on Thursday evening before going to the cinema. Young fella behind the bar was really friendly, welcoming and efficient. We ordered food , 2 different burgers which were excellent & great value. Happy with the price of the drinks and the place itself was very comfortable. Will definitely be coming back.”
“Stayed at this hotel with work, and I was really impressed from my arrival. Plenty of parking, friendly staff and spacious rooms. I was greeted with a friendly welcome, and nothing was too much trouble. I had injured myself prior to visiting and staff were quick to help out. Even though they did not have any ice packs, they made sure to improvise and I couldn't be more grateful. Bar service was quick, and they accommodated a large party for dining. Food came out quickly and tasted great. A great sleep after a long drive!”
“We visit this location at least twice a year. To visit family. Even though it is close to the M69 you very rarely hear much noise from it. It is a very relaxing location close to Coventry, Nuneaton and within easy access to Leicester. It has a Brewers Fayre located next door so food and drink is close at hand. All the staff are very pleasant and friendly with noting being too much of a problem. All rooms are located on the ground floor with easy access to all.”
“We had a lovely lunch..the food exceeded our expectations. I don't eat out much as i am often disappointed in restaurant vegan food but the rainbow lasagne was very good. It took us a while to work out you had to order from the bar.”
“I've been here a few times and had a consistently good experience. The good is great, the service is good and it's reasonably priced as well. If you want alcohol, you have to bring your own, but they have plenty of soft drinks available. Highly recommend”
“A credit to the village. I live in the village and used to use the Granville a lot years ago. But it changed hands a lot and went down hill badly. Last year Jennie and her team took the pub on and have made it into the village hub. The work and efforts they have put in to make it into the village pub we all needed and love is fantastic. We now visit weekly with the kids and the food is fantastic and atmosphere is amazing. They accommodate for all ages, friends and families. We can now even go down on a Saturday night when we don’t have the kids and there’s always music of all types and we can have a dance and a great time. It’s a gem in the village to have for everyone and brings the whole community together.”
“We had our corporate Christmas event at Ansty Hall, and I couldn’t speak highly enough of our experience. We had James in the daytime who was absolutely fantastic and so attentive. He was extremely likeable and also very helpful and flexible when it came to changing the time of our lunch, and providing general assistance with setting up the day. The evening part was equally well managed by Desmond, delaying courses whilst we finished our quiz rounds without us even having to ask. Overall it was brilliant!”
“Got a leaflet through the post and thought I'd give them a try. Genuinely lovely food especially the chicken pad Thai which was gorgeous. Will definitely be ordering again.”
“I stayed in room number 5, it was a perfect size, has everything I needed and was very comfy. There was lots of pubs and shops nearby and loads of places to eat. The owner was lovelly and very helpful, not that I needed much help but she was easy to contact and my stay for 3 nights was very nice. Highly recommended”
“A great gem in kenilworth x the food is wonderful, not heavy , greasy ,too salty everything cooked to your liking x perfectly spiced, a wonderful take away Xxxx”
“We stayed on the campsite in early January, in our campervan. This is one of the rare sites that are open all year and have a toilet block with shower. The site is easy to find, secure with key pad controlled high gates and surrounded by gardens and fields. Pitches are large, hard standing and level. Even after torrential rain, these were fine (although grass understandably boggy). Electric hook up and water taps between pitches. Toilet block is in the end of a barn building. All tiled, clean, windows a little shabby but ok. Unisex, 2 toilet cubicles and 2 large cubicles with wash basins and shaver points. One electric shower in cubicle with shower curtain too - the usual set up at campsites. The block is unheated but there is a blow heater on the wall that you can activate. Soap, air-hand dryer, toilet paper all provided. There is only a charge for the electrically heater hot water -50p shower, 20p basin hot water. We thought it would be too cold to shower in comfort in January but it was fine. Plenty of time to shower, nice and hot. Be aware though, no suitable washing up facility (outside sink cold only). The road nearby is busy so expect road noise (and sheep bleating, bird song too). Didn't seem to be a campervan discharge point, so expect to use the old bowl and bucket if you want to empty grey water. There is a chemical loo emptying place and the usual waste area. Reason for 5 stars...excellent value!(And a nice owner.)”
“Fast and friendly service! The food tasted great and was piping hot! Order the beef chowmein (wet) it’s juicy and amazing”
