“Decent prices, helpful staff Just a shame about the big issue women who sits in front of the entrance and makes me feel guilty about not giving money”
“I think that most people know of Matalan and this is a nicely spaced store with a good range of very reasonably priced clothing for all the family. The children's range is very useful as we know how quickly they grow out of clothes before they have had their wear out of them! There is a range of household goods too. The staff are friendly and helpful. In addition there is free parking here for four hours if you want to visit the town centre on your trip !”
“Super busy store just on the edge of the town centre. Large free car park and nice to go in early afternoon, or late or early in the day. It's a smaller and older style store, but has all the items. Sadly it's just too busy for a town centre store. Great place to pop into when you are in town.”
“Wide range of goods compared to other local Coop shops”
“This is a great supermarket. Can always find what I need here.”
“Nice little friendly local store”
“My usual stop-off for my lunch on the way to work. Have got everything you might want, plus other stuff. Staff are helpful - this morning as I was looking through the sandwiches I was told to ask for anything I couldn't see, as they probably had it in the back (she was filling the sandwich section at the time) A mix of self-serve and staffed tills. Cash point outside. Bakery section at the back of the first aisle has some lovely bits in it (the pizza rolls are great!)”
“Would just like to say a big Thankyou to the manager of the store on Saturday the 14th Sept who resolved a problem that had with product, that no other member of staff could resolve. Need more managers like him. So frustrated and stressed but then he put my faith back in people. Thank you again.”
“Only use for fuel - but clean, tidy and friendly Staff”
“This store has everything you want. Cheap food, ability to shop in store and have it delivered at home, but more importantly the staff make this store a pleasure to shop in. Never to busy to help, always smiling and just a great vibe overall.”
“Big store for a shopping centre with loads of products, 16 self-service tills plus cashiers as well means little waiting time. Fresh baked products are superb.”
“First time shopping at Next store on Saturday had no clue, approached Debra who helped size me up and get my suit fitted perfectly and also arranged to have it delivered on a Sunday delivery the whole experience was amazing and would not only recommend Debra but also happily shop at Next again in the future”
“Just a few words to thank the three ladies that sorted my replacement tv out. After four months yes four months ! of technical services messing me about and after sales being next to useless, could not trace my purchase although i had purchased it with the Argos card and i had the order number. Thanks to the ladies who persevered and sorted it all out.Great service.”
“My go to shop daily. Not to over crowded pretty chilled shop. Great as is has argos too. Handy to buy things.”
“Helpful staff and cash accepted”
“Very often pop on here on my way to work for a lunch meal deal. Nice little store with pretty well much what you need for your essentials. Staff are always friendly and helpful as I have found in all CoOp stores, never really had a bad experience... well done!”
“Got most of what you need, it's a clean and friendly corner shop as you would expect. It has become very expensive however. We did a tiny shop for lunch and dinner for a family of 4 and it was somehow £68 and there was no booze or anything exciting or frivolous. Also the carpark can be a bit of a nightmare if you have children. It's good for parking, however you have to cross the road access, there isn't a safe footpath till you have crossed that road. So with young children it's a bit stressful with bags or trolley and not being blessed with 2 pairs of hands. Also the path that they do have slopes just enough towards the road that it pulls your trolley with your child in towards the traffic. It's all a done deal, however Co-op if you do read this, please think about these aspects in the future.”
“Popped in to buy some flowers, and all they had were reduced ones. The lady behind the counter spoke into her head set, and another lady appeared with fresh, beautiful flowers. They didn't have to queue for a long, and they had some great deals on, too. Well done, guys, lovely shop and great staff.”
“Been buying from here for years. Orders over £20 free delivery is brilliant. It's not close to me so this is perfect. Can get everything I need from felt tips to outdoor large toys. Love this shop for the kids.”
“After a pair of walking boots, staff were very friendly and helpful, good value.”
“Very pleasant store, great stock of horror figures, lego and pokémon cards - as a pokémon fan I understand the shortage and whilst the increased price can be a pain, it's a sacrifice needed to make for the stock. Staff are very friendly, always willing to help and consistently very knowledgeable on their stock. Definitely look forward to my next visit!”
“Great store! Very close to the Croft students home!”
“Great local food store, which carries a good selection of essentials, alcohol and household products. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and the opening hours are some of the best and most convenient in Ashbourne. It carries a good range of quality frozen convenience foods and tasty bread and cake items. It is definitely my go-to store for convenience and is generally well-stocked.”
“Great shop for picking up essentials and small shops when you don't want to go into a big supermarket.”
“Good for parking. New manager seems lovely.”
“Great range and variety of foods. CO OP own brand products are labelled vegan when appropriate. Staff have been consistently friendly and fun over the years too.”
“Excellent service! Think her name was Lacey? also brilliant ready meals choices”
“The staff where so friendly and could not do enough for you. The prices are so reasonable and the quality is outstanding.”
“It wouldn’t be a 5 star review of it wasn’t for the service. The variety compared to other Sainsbury’s local is fairly low, however the service is absolutely amazing. Trevor is an absolute asset to you, he tells me all the deals and is so nice and helpful. There is also another lady who is just as great, but unfortunately cannot remember her name, but will be sure to leave a review when i next visit and catch her name”
