“Visited the Shuropody at Derbion on Sunday with my mum. We were looking for a pair of comfortable non slip sandals for holiday and after very many try ons we found the perfect pair at an amazing price. The shop assistant who served us (Maryam) was an absolute gem! Super polite and patient even though it was a struggle finding what we were looking for. We were very satisfied with the customer service and the product as well. We will be back for shoes/boots in the winter time. Thank you for the excellent service. 5/5 ⭐️ all around”

“Thank you so much Jon and Mitch for helping to sort me and my rabble for my wedding! You were absolutely brilliant and patient with all the blokes and the kids. Every step was smooth, polite, and effortless. The deposit and payment process was explained well and in good time. At one point, I enquired if I could add additional groomsmen at the original quoted rate (over a year ago). I had no expectation that this would be possible, seen as suit rental prices had understandably increased due to the recent year's cost of living increase. But Jon honoured his original prices. I'd call that above and beyond the call of duty and excellent customer service! I was totally chuffed that Jon was able to come to our venue on the morning of our wedding and make sure that our ties and button hole flowers were set properly. Something which I understand you haven't done since covid and wasn't part of my booking, so a nice surprise for me. That was the cherry on the cake. It meant that there was one less thing to have to worry about. Mitch is also a credit Jon Paul. He is polite, attentive and a good conversationalist. Just what you want! Anyone thinking of using Jon Paul Swadlincote, I strongly advise you do! Get them booked!!”

“The most gorgeous little shoe shop. Our friend recommended it to have our toddlers feet measured and we've been back repeatedly. The brands they carry are fab, many made in Britain and their customer service is fantastic. They are really patient with our little one who is now a whizz at getting his feet measured by their wonderful team. We'll be back again soon!”

“Always loved this brand and have various items but decided it was time I had a suit. I visited the store and was greeted by Lee.. there was no pressure just a friendly hello and an offer of help if I needed it. He answered my questions precisely and honestly. I didn't feel pressured at any point and was left to deliberate when needed. “Great shopping experience today, not been in for ages but the clothing is gorgeous for autumn, lovely short jumpers, really well fitting boot leg jeans and joggers, comfy and warm short jackets. Underwear also good as it always has been. I've never bought so much there's so much autumn choice and most items I got were under £16. Could have done with more variety in the boots , not everyone wants UGG style. Also the sizes are a bit mad, I'm about a size 10 to 12 but everything I bought was extra small and the jeans were 8 so size down if you go. Shout out to the ladies in the changing room who were superb, nothing was too much trouble. Great staff throughout the store and quicker service than elsewhere , River Island take note.”

“Who doesn't love a pair of Converse? While this ain't the biggest store on the planet it does pack a lot in and while it might not have brand new designs in it does have a lot of stuff I've not really seen elsewhere. Staff are absolutely spot on and the prices are fantastic on some of the shoes. (20 quid for a pair of Converse - I'll have that). Be careful with the sizes on the boxes though, look for the UK size - it's written a little smaller under the other sizes.”

“Came to Clark's today to buy my 9 month old son his first pair of shoes. We were greeted warmly by a lady with long dark hair who showed us to take a ticket from the machine for measuring. A short time later a lady with long brown hair and glasses called our number. She measured my sons feet, which he loved, and recommended some shoes. We knew the selection would be limited as my son's feet are still very small, but the lady helped us find a suitable pair and assessed how he walked in them. All round, an excellent experience for us and the service from these two ladies was fabulous. Thank you.”

“Bought some shoes online for my daughter for school, unfortunately they were too big so we returned to the Derby store. Not sure of the lady's name who served us but she was really helpful, brought out loads of shoes for her to try on. Unfortunately they don't do half sizes which she needed so we didn't end up exchanging but she also offered to measure our little boy's feet as well while we were in there. Excellent service and a credit to the store. The only thing I can remember about the lady was she looked like she was in her early 20s and was wearing crocs.”
