“The tour was absolutely lovely. We got to see amazing hidden gems around Scotland. Took the two day trip from Glasgow to Inverness to Edinburgh. Ample time was given to every spot. Our Tour guide and driver Mark (The Australian one, very important) was exceptionally friendly, full of knowledge to impart about everything we saw from the Sites to the geography of Scotland and really kept the entire tour jovial and exciting. Highly recommend to have him be the one to guide you. Everything was very convenient and flexible to the wants and needs of the entire group. Great stuff all around.”
“I feel like I got the most out of my trip to Scotland thanks to Heart of Scotland. We were in Scotland for 8 days and did two of their tours. One was the overnight to Inverness, the other Hadrians Wall and the borders. Our tour guide Angela was friendly, funny, informative and accommodating. Not expensive and worth every penny for the experiences we had!”

“It's like a little dose of the Scottish Highlands just a few miles from Edinburgh. Pentland hills on the doorstep then back to relax in the hot tub or in front of the log burner. Great to escape from it all for a few days, exactly what we were after. Thank you”
“An absolutely unforgettable first day in Scotland! Our guide, Ruth, was simply spectacular: full of historical knowledge, interesting facts, and, above all, a great sense of humor. Every stop on the tour was spectacular: from the Hermitage Forest, Dunkeld, the imposing Stirling Castle, to the breathtaking landscapes of the Highlands, everything was perfectly organized and well explained. Ruth managed to captivate both adults and children with the stories, and her passion for Scotland is contagious. The whole family loved the tour. We definitely recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see the best of Scotland in a single day. Thank you, Ruth, for such a special day!”
“Honestly one of the best things I’ve done, from someone who is an avid traveler. Usually I like to plan my own trips, but I think Neil made this tour far better anything I could have done by myself. His stories of his life and childhood in the highlands, the folklore and history of the region, and knowledge of hidden spots that most might pass over made this trip so special. I certainly think it was worth the money and the company is amazing. The hostels were also really nice. Some were on the water, while others were in good locations in the towns we stayed at. There were always plenty of stops for groceries, and they all had kitchens. (But also lots of opportunities to get food, if you don’t like to cook). Sometimes it might not be possible to stop at a major spot, if there is no parking space, but Neil always made it work. Honestly, one of our favorite spots was one where we were alone. We did find a spot at Storr, which was also a major highlight. Make sure you bring proper waterproofs because it rained on us every day of our. Also, bring good footwear for hiking. I personally went on the 5 day Highlands Tour and would definitely recommend it over the 3 day tours. Not because I’ve done the shorter tours, but because I can’t imagine seeing the highlands in an even shorter period of time. It is a special place and I didn’t want the trip to end.”
“Highly recommended! Lisa always does an amazing job on my nails !! She takes care of me and has so much attention to detail! Love my new summer colour thanks a million”
“I recently had the pleasure of working with this firm, and I honestly couldn’t be more impressed. If it were possible to give more than five stars, I absolutely would, because they truly deserve it. From start to finish, they were exceptional – professional, reliable, and incredibly efficient. Every interaction was handled with care, attention to detail, and genuine respect. What really stood out to me was how personable and approachable they were. They didn’t just treat me like another client; they took the time to really listen, explain everything clearly, and make sure I felt supported throughout the whole process. Their dedication went far beyond what I expected, and they truly went the extra mile to achieve the best possible outcome for me. It’s rare to find a team that combines such expertise with genuine kindness and empathy. They made what could have been a stressful experience feel smooth and manageable, and I’m so grateful for everything they did. It’s reassuring to know that firms like this still exist – ones that care deeply about their clients and take pride in doing their job exceptionally well. I would recommend them without a moment’s hesitation to anyone looking for first-class service and real peace of mind. Thank you again for being nice human beings ❤️”
“Spent a lovely day hiking in the Pentland Hills — stunning views, peaceful trails, and plenty of fresh air. Great for both casual walkers and more adventurous hikers. A real gem just outside Edinburgh! Highly recommend for a relaxing escape into nature”
“Visited with 3 children who used the inflatables. My daughter Lucy had a panic attack after falling in and was then worried about reentering. A lovely member of staff called Eddie reassured her and made her feel at ease. She stayed with her the whole time encouraging her. Thank you to Eddie. She is a credit to your establishment. Would recommend.”
“What an amazing museum this is. Firstly it's free to enter which is brilliant, of course you can leave a donation to support. There are lockers available to rent for a nominal sum, and great cafes to refuel. The museum has a terrific amount of interactive exhibits, lots of places to learn and play. You could really spend all day here.”
“Ban the cars and add deer. No other natural feature quite defines a UK city like the crags in Holyrood. As a result it has a magnetic effect on all who see it. You can stay low and flat, or trot up to the trig point. The very northern end of the crag affords a most intriguing panorama of the Royal Mile from Holyrood Palace all the way up to Edinburgh Castle.”
“Gorgeous area with an amazing view of the castle in the background. You can walk this whole trail which runs parallel to the main road right by the Scott monument. Definitely could take your time and enjoy this area! Lots of people doing photoshoots as this was a great place to take pictures. At sunset the castle is completely illuminated and teal of the fountain really pops. Would definitely suggest to stop by when in Edinburgh!”
“We kicked off our exhilarating Scotland adventure on September 9th, and it was nothing short of spectacular! Finding the Edinburgh bus depot was a breeze—just a quick stroll from the bustling Edinburgh Marketplace rail station. As soon as we signed in, the fantastic Rabbies team greeted us with warmth and enthusiasm, setting the perfect tone for an unforgettable journey. Our driver, Stephen, was an absolute treasure! His captivating storytelling and deep knowledge of Scottish history brought our tour to life in the most thrilling way possible. He infused the trip with a fantastic playlist that became the perfect soundtrack to our exploration, making every moment even more electrifying. This all-day tour was a whirlwind of excitement and discovery, and if the opportunity arises, we wouldn’t hesitate for a second to dive into even more Scottish adventures! We also had the pleasure of meeting the charming Cecilia from Nebraska, USA, in our tour van. Connecting with her and sharing our stories added an extra layer of joy to the experience! At the Loch Lomond village shop, we were greeted by the incredibly welcoming Sean Donnachie, a young local Scot with a delightful accent that made our interactions a joy. Sean entertained our questions about Loch Lomond and shared fascinating insights about life in the beautiful Scottish Highlands. The shop offers a diverse selection of merchandise, making it a true gem! Rabbies tours are worth every penny—don’t think twice; book it now and get ready for the most memorable adventure of a lifetime!”
“What a beautiful cinema! Lovingly restored, comfortable seats, great atmosphere and helpful staff...what's not to like? I'll definitely make a return visit.”
“Took delivery of Millboard decking today. Robert the delivery driver was first class. From first phone company have been very professional and easy to deal with. Will send another review with regards to the completed job when completed.”
“Beautiful park with great view on the sea! The park is the most beautiful during cherry blossom season!”
“We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of the Highlands of Scotland. Kuddos to Lauriane and Nordic for their professionalism and helpful suggestions, the entire process was a breeze. Lauriane promptly answered all of our questions and offered wonderful travel suggestions and tips. Our accommodations were all first rate and the staff at every establishment were awesome. We highly recommend Nordic and will be booking again with them. The only thing they didn’t help us out with was driving on the left side of the road, but we were able to navigate that issue (pun intended). If it is your first time in Scotland or driving in the UK, I highly recommend the meet and greet service from the airport, it really takes the stress off after the travel. Again, thank you so much Lauriane and Nordic for an unforgettable experience!”
“Love the group Social event. Our Beagle had a fab team socialising with lots of dogs, playing chase over the obstacles, around the green space. We'll run and great value”
“The team at Visa Go provided exceptional support throughout the visa application process. They offered clear, timely guidance and professional expertise that made a complex process easily manageable. Sue, our case officer was very efficient and a pleasure to work with every step of the way. I would highly recommend their services for anyone needing migration assistance.”
“We’ve been doing the weekend outdoor classes with our 5 year old. Chris is a brilliant coach: friendly, inclusive, adaptive to all levels (me = extreme beginner and scaredy-cat and yet… I love it). Our kid is loving lessons, it’s helping him gain confidence and resilience, and most importantly he’s having fun doing it :)”
“A small museum serving as an interpretive centre for Roslin Glen. It provides context on the area's natural history, geology, and industrial past, particularly its historic gunpowder mills. The exhibits enhance understanding before exploring the adjacent woodland paths and sites like Rosslyn Chapel.”
“Visited today & wow what an amazing place. Looks fantastic at night when there all lite up. Nice canal walk next to it aswell. Toilets open 24 hours & parking free in winter. Will come back again. Plenty of parking too.”
“We had a wonderful tour with Highland Experience! Kenny was a fantastic tour guide in every way. A great mix of sightseeing, history, humor, and culture. Mr. Kirk quickly established the individual circumstances of folks in our group and customized the experience perfectly. We appreciated his extensive familiarity with the locations, including less traveled roads, amazing scenic stops, and every detail - right down to where the best toilets are! While driving, Kenny provided insight, stories, history, and local music that enhanced the drive and sights. Selecting the music was a particular skill - ranging from energetic at times to reverent as well experienced Culloden Battlefield. The local bookings were great - we felt lucky to have dinner and attend a Ceilidh! Kenny was fantastic! The tour bus was clean and comfortable! The weather was very nearly perfect (OK, Kenneth may not control that, but it was great). Highland Experience was a great choice.”
“Amazing island to walk out to at low tide. (I like to arrive 2 hours before low tide to give plenty time to cross and wander at a slow pace round the wartime batteries. The anti submarine structure is an interesting sight too”
“A superb place to hike; you can find many highland cows there in their wild, natural habitat. Be prepared to walk there off-road as the tracks finish as you go higher and higher. Would recommend taking hiking shoes as you have to walk on slippery or muddy surfaces. A coat is also highly recommended as it is very windy at the top.”
“Corstorphine hill nature reserve, situated beside the Edinburgh zoo, is a peaceful retreat with beautiful greenery and some wildlife. It has nice trails and spots for picnics. It is a perfect place for a relaxing day outdoors.”
“After having stayed in Whitworth Locke before in Manchester and having such a good experience, we decided to book this hotel in Edinburgh for my birthday trip! And we’re so glad we did! The rooms are beautiful as they always are in Locke hotels, the cafe downstairs was great. And staff were lovely and friendly! The lady that checked us in was particularly incredible! After having a sleepless night we arrived to the hotel a lot earlier than check in time and we were dreading having to stay out all day running on empty. We asked if there was any chance early check in was available and she allowed us to check in a lot earlier as our room was ready! We were really grateful for this and really appreciate hotels that offer little extras for guests! Thank you :)”
“It’s a perfect place to have a nice walk with your dog.”
“Love this wee shop. Brilliantly set up to cope with COVID. It's like the TARDIS inside, dunno how they get so much stuff in it and if they don't have it, they'll order it in for you. Forget your big DIY stores, SHOP LOCAL!”
