“Food is fantastic. Lounge is quite. But it’s the little things which make a huge difference: Fresh tablet and Tunnock‘s tea cakes! Even Monin syrup for your coffee. Love it!!”

“Absolutely fine. I highly recommend not waiting at the "wait to be seated" sign at breakfast. The waitress loves customers who do this. Seldom one gets to see adults employed in the service industry exhibit such interesting behaviour. Worth the trip alone ! Hurry up and book your stay before she gets a job she actually likes”

“This was one of the nicest Hotels that we stayed at on our Insights Vacations tour of UK and Ireland and in a great position. Note the fridge in the room is a cooler not a fridge (works ok if you get a bucket of ice from the bar) Also a note that both my wife and I thought Cass on reception was fantastic and made our stay even better with her helpful advise and pleasant personality”

“Was there today and very surprised with the improvements made since I was there 18 months ago. the food and beverage offerings were really good. the receptionist when I arrived at 9am did a great job explaining the changes and the team on at noon also was also on the ball.”

“Place was well maintained and staff were nice helped me with parking as it was weakend there were free parking around the area and felt safe I left my car there for 1 and a half days nothing happend to it room was nice”

“This was a clean and nice Kurt Geiger store with shoes, bags, swimwear, and accessories. Miya was absolutely lovely. I wasn’t really looking to purchase anything. She was so delightful and friendly, even sharing when items were on sale. She was patient while I was shopping and when I inquired about items, she was very helpful. Ended up purchasing a phone holder and a pair of sunglasses and extremely excited about my purchases. I will definitely return here when I’m back in this airport and recommend it to anyone you may be surprised what you find. This is an excellent brand (usually purchased in states from Nordstrom) and I’ve had items last for a really long time.”

“Really impressed with The Players Lounge. Booking was straightforward and easy to rearrange when I needed to. Got a warm welcome when I arrived (and a very good coffee!). I saw Ase, who was friendly, easy to chat with, and took the time to have a relaxed, unhurried discussion about what I was looking for. She asked helpful questions, offered thoughtful suggestions, and together we narrowed it down into a clear plan. The result was exactly what I was hoping for, and I left very happy with the cut. Great experience all round — I’ll definitely be back.”

“Almost all of their menu is gluten free and they have loads of gluten free or gluten reduced drink options. We ended up going twice - I highly recommend the Thistly Cross cider (strawberry or elderflower) and their beef chili loaded chips, which they were able to leave the cheese off and it was still fantastic. They also asked when taking our order if either of us had any allergies which is very reassuring.”

“One of the best clubs I’ve ever been to. Decent prices, heated smoking area, friendly staff and good music. The cocktail bar is great, if you want to take a break from dancing, you can sit down and relax there and not be forced to be outside. Shoutout to Andy and Natalie”

“Perfect low budget hostel! We had a private family room. Rooms are clean, staff is really friendly, the bar downstairs is always alive and a great place to have a drink and meet people. Location is also perfect, everything is in walking distance! We didn’t book the breakfast but from what I saw there was plenty of choice.”

“Visited on a voucher deal B & B with a cocktail. Yes the room was a bit dated but it was very clean, spacious and well equipped. The "cocktail" was any drink from the bar, breakfast was excellent everything individually wrapped or served by the chef. Special mention to all the staff who were exceptionally helpful and pleasant. For the price we paid we had a fabulous stay - drinks in the bar are very reasonable so worth giving them a bit of extra income from your stay especially if you get as good a deal as we did. It's also 2 minutes from the station/tram stop/bus routes so excellent for a short break.”

“The Spey Lounge, Where do I begin... A pub of untold Character, unfiltered spirit and a place that oozes legacy from first Glance to the last drop of your pint. I am fortunate enough to overlook this fine establishment.. No.. Bohemian institute.. would be better words. Drawing in crowds from far and wide ... but mainly locals. The wind carries the whispers and chants from the 24/7 Karaoke machine... as Legend goes it has yet to be turned off since its purchase in the late 90's with Disco light machine in tow. Depending on your fortune, if the planets align just right you may witness a spectacle of nature. Survival. Man vs Man, the ultimate duel. The nightly mating rituals begin from midnight into the early hours of the morning requiring the males to display dominance in any way possible. From who can hold the most swally to a barbaric fist fight. A true glimpse into the mindset of a Spey-Walker.”

“We enjoyed our stay here for 3 nights. Staff is very helpful, rooms are very spacious. The kitchen is very well equipped. They also offer free luggage storage service.”

“We came on the road to register early, but the hostess was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Although it was only 11 hours local time, we decided to sit in the bar and order a nice malt. She must have liked us because it was her treatment. The rooms were clean and the sheets and towels were always fresh.”

“I just had a gel manicure done by Zey, and I absolutely love my nails! The service was also lovely and she was super chatty and the whole salon was super nice. Overall very happy customer! Edit: I loved my last experience so much I went back. This time I booked a trainee BlAB appointment, the woman was amazing and I was even able to get nail art. I was super happy with the experience and would definitely recommend a trainee appointment if you’re looking to save money as it was amazing value!”

“We went on the Clydesdales experience it was amazing from start to finish. Had a carriage ride with the beautiful horses they are such gentle giants, we were able to feed and touch the animals, first time holding a chicken and touching a pig, not to mention the donkeys and the young foal. The staff were really nice and told you all about the animals and there individual names. There are boxer dogs one who liked to jump up on the carriage for a clap. I highly recommend this experience and hope to go back in the spring to feed some lambs.”

“I was traveling with my wife around Scotland when we stayed at Aaron Glen Guesthouse and found the experience to be wonderful! Carolyn greeted us warmly upon arrival and was available throughout our stay if needed. The rooms were very nice and well-updated in a classic bed and breakfast, the type of quaint setting we were looking for. Close enough to bus routes into Edinburgh, though a trade off is the area was more commercial than would be ideal. All this with a well-stocked kitchen and honesty bar made for an overall great time staying there and I would absolutely recommend it!”

“Our stay at Ceilidh-Donia was wonderful! The staff were very kind and helpful, always ready to give advice and with a smile. Breakfast was delicious and varied, and the room was clean, tidy, and comfortable. The area is quiet and pleasant, perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. There is a very good bus connection to the Royal Mile (about 15 minutes), and if you prefer walking, it’s around 30–40 minutes on foot. I highly recommend this place to anyone planning a stay in Edinburgh!”
