βWe had a fantastic time ! Our bedroom was lovely and very comfy. The house is not in the city centre but there's a bus stop just outside the door. The breakfast buffet was amazing and the hostess super helpful. Definitely will stay there again!β

βBonnyrigg bowling club is a great place, I attend a Wednesday bingo there, it's a great laugh and the volunteers that run the bar are helpful and always have a smile on there faces. A social membership is Β£10 or if you don't want to buy one you put Β£1 in the box on the table to the right hand side when you go through the main door and sign the guest book. There are lots if different clubs and events the use these facilitiesβ
βAbsolutely loved our stay! Super welcoming hosts and the best night's sleep ever.β
βThis place is an oasis of calm even when the rest of the city is busy! It's a members only club, and there is sometimes a wait for membership - I had to wait about 6 months, but it was worth it. The pool is often very quiet, with only one or two other people in it - I've had it to myself occasionally! There is a steam room, sauna, and hot pool by the pool, as well as a fully kitted out gym upstairs. The staff are friendly, as are the other members. One of the unique features of this place is that when you join, you get a small locker where you can keep your swimwear. Tag your swimwear with your locker number and you can actually chuck it into the laundry baskets with the towels and the staff will wash and dry it for you overnight, and leave it back in your locker. This means that I can go straight from work, for example, to the club without having to go home to pick up my swimwear. Very convenient!β
βLovely staff lovely food and not expensive at allβ
βMy 2nd stay at Inchgrove, and I enjoyed it as much as the first! Duncan and Walter are great hosts, and breakfast will keep you going all day! Rooms are nice and clean and a good value. You canβt beat the location! I recommend Inchgrove and will stay there any time I visit Edinburgh!β
βTravelers, stay at Elder York Guest House!!! Itβs simply wonderful β my wife and I have never felt so warmly welcomed and cared for in any accommodation or hotel throughout all of Europe. If you stay here, youβll understand exactly what I mean. Thank you so much, Murray and your father β you truly made our days in Edinburgh the most unforgettable of our lives. This place gives you a true Scottish experience and is within walking distance of all the major tourist attractions. Tired after a long day and not in the mood to go far for food? No problem β just a 30-second walk and you're literally at the door of a Five Guys. (My wife and I went three times just so we could get back quickly and keep enjoying Elder York!) Because of the time zone difference, I had to attend a 5:00 AM meeting with my lab team (Iβm a PhD student), and Murrayβs father β the host β kindly asked if Iβd like a cup of tea. Mind you, breakfast only starts at 7:00 AM. If you're planning to visit the Highlands, you can take a one-day tour (like the ones offered by Timberbush), and return in the evening to rest at the Elder York Guest House. No matter what youβre doing in Scotland β stay here!β
βWe stayed at Motel One Edinburgh-Royal in The One with View room, and it was absolutely perfect. The view was breathtaking β exactly what I had hoped for when planning our trip. After arriving from London, stepping into that room instantly washed away the fatigue and made me smile. The location couldnβt have been more convenient: just steps from Waverley Station, close to the airport bus stop, and within easy walking distance of the Royal Mile and other main attractions. Whether travelling by train, bus, or plane, this hotel is ideally situated β for us, having arrived by train and flying out later, it couldnβt have been more perfect. The hotel was stylish, peaceful, and comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were genuinely kind and welcoming, and check-in was effortless after a long journey. As a non-native speaker, I wish I couldβve expressed my gratitude to them more fully in person β they truly made our stay wonderful. Iβd love to return to the same room on my next visit to Edinburgh.β
βNot going to lie I had a really great time at the bar. Bartender dropped a few glasses through the night but there was such a great atmosphere it didnβt matter. it really made my night and I would really recommend this bar to people looking to have a fun time at a quirky bar with great vibes. Also just to say that the bartenders were excellent at serving pints et ceteraβ
βThe staff at the Raeburn are nice and accommodating! The rooms are very aesthetically pleasing and they offer great amenities like a hair straightener that my wife really appreciated. The aesthetic was really great, think dark academia vibes! The location is fantastic and walkable from nearby attractions.β

βGreat place to stay. The room was very nice and met our needs. The owners were always present, friendly, and helpful. Location was great just a short ride from all the attractions. We would not hesitate to stay here again.β
βWe didn't have a room but went for lunch. Our server Irving was very friendly and helpful. He had just gotten back from a trip to Canada which is where we are from so we had a lot to chat about. Had the soup, small portion of fish and chips and the special burger with haggis. Everything was delicious.β

βThis was the perfect place for us to stay overnight for a wedding nearby! The views are absolutely stunning and the hostel is pretty, clean, warm, and friendly. The staff are especially kind, caring, and helpful - our trip was made memorable by the friendliness of Heather who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. She was so inviting and generous and the stay massively exceeded our expectations, and will be remembered as a really special weekend thanks to her kindness and the efforts of other staff.β
βAwesome location, very friendly staff. They stored our bags as we arrived from the airport a few hours before check-in and we began our walk in the city. When we returned our luggage was in our room. Great service and extremely friendly staff!! Would stay again.β
βWe did not stay at this hotel, but used them through Nannybag to store our luggage for a day. The moment we walked through the front door, we knew that weβd have to come back to stay here. The hotel is so charming! Has a great feel when you walk in, and the staff was very friendly. I also wanted to thank the manager who was there on Monday, 25/08/2025 (American guy with long hair and glasses - sorry we did not get your name!) The road was closed after 5pm for Fringe events, and the gentleman helped us walk our luggage all the way down the street to wait for our driver to pick us up. He even stayed and chatted with us for a bit so we were not alone. He was so friendly and accommodating, and because of him - we would happily come back and stay at this hotel next time weβre in Edinburgh! We cannot thank you enough for your kindness - Things like this leave a lasting impression on people.β
βBest student accommodation. Pollock Hall of Residence has one of the worldβs best teams to support you 24/7. Residence Life, Community Support, Security, and the Restaurant. All done to the best.β

βSuper! I liked everything! Hearty! The interior is a fisherman's tavern. The service is very attentive. I will definitely come again myself and I advise you to!β
βIt was a truly great experience. The nightly music created such a vibrant atmosphere, and the staff were absolutely amazing β warm, attentive, and full of positive energy.β
