βCheap accommodation with good value for money in the heart of Edinburgh without the exhorbatant prices. Staying in a POd is the cheapest with towels and lockers with very comfortable sleeping arrangements. They also do private doubles en suite for a little bit extra but still cheaper than their other competitors. The showers went beyond my expectations, so they were a big plus for me. I will definitely return at some point in the future when circumstances allow.β
βVery good swim club with Masters swimmers included.β
βWe were meant to stay Monday to Friday. Had to leave yesterday, after only two nights, due to husbands health. We were gutted. This place is stunning. We walked into to warmth and the place is scented beautifully. Everything is supplied but kitchen scales! I am not joking. Coffee, tea bags, sugar, a pint of milk, carton of orange juice, some gorgesous welcoming maple and pecan slices. Everything else you need apart from your food. Fabulous home from home. The Cramond Inn around the corner is a lovely pub and is bans Digital items. So encorages conversation which is also lovely. I was so sad to leave. But needs must. We will be booking again. Though we don't know when. Thank you x Only down side is that you are on the flight path from Edinburgh airport and its VERY noisy!β
βVery nice one-bedroom cottage. It consists of a very comfortable large bed, with a mirrored wardrobe and drawer space. The kitchen has a ceramic hob, oven, grill, microwave, washing machine, and dishwasher. The living space has comfortable seating, a tv, and a dining area. There is a train station close by within 5 minutes drive. It has free parking. If the parking is full, there is a large car park about 15 minutes away. It is a 30- 40 minute train journey into Edinburgh Waverley.β
βDrinks are class! Tunes are great!β
βCouldnβt recommend Argyle more! The room was cute & clean, bathrooms were updated, and the shared spaces were wonderful! Cozy, eclectic, communal! One of my best hostel stays to date!β
βLovely club which has been a regular go to in Dundee for years. Always a good selection of dancers who are not too pushy if all your after is a drink with friends. Staff always seem friendly particularly the girl behind the bar. Good selection of drinks, music and atmosphere.β
βWe recently stayed here for the weekend and the hotel was perfect! Clean and well set out. The service was amazing nothing is too much trouble for the friendly staff. Would definitely go back and stay againβ
βVery welcoming and staff and service were outstanding. Food in the bar was also one of the best I've had in a hostel. For the price couldn't really ask for any more!β
βSpent one night in Emerald Guest House with my boyfriend. The place is easily accessible by bus or by car, bus stop is just in front of the house. We found our room and the whole house neat and tidy and very well equipped. Breakfast was amazing, great range of choice served in a lovely conservatory. Would definitely recommend Emerald House!β
βWe needed a room for one night (travelled up to see Robbie Williams in concert); so we needed a room, and that was it. Didnβt need staff or a breakfast, just somewhere to sleep. And this was PERFECT. Parking is limited but we managed to bag one of the two parking spaces at the front, which was mega handy. The room was meticulously clean, seemed like it was all brand new furniture and very clean and quick thick pile carpet. Instructions to get there and get in were straight forward and easy to follow. Just pick your key up from the lockbox, let yourself into the building and then your room. The hotel was quiet (only saw one other couple while we were there), ideally placed with a bus stop across the road and very clean. Perfect place for a quick overnighter.β
βWe loved our stay here mainly because the place was very close to the city center and it was quite practical. We only spent time here to sleep in the evenings. The place was clean and tidy with enough amenities. The room was rather small to accommodate 3 double beds but we knew this ahead of time so can't argue about it. The only thing I would recommend is having air conditioning in the room. The best thing about the place is its affordability and walkability to main attractions in the city.β
βWe had a great stay here. The room was clean and spacious. The shared amenities were clean and organized. Toiletries, coffee, and tea were available at the reception free of charge, except for the towels. The place was located in a quiet environment, near bus stops, shops, and restaurants. Definitely recommended if looking for a stay in Edinburgh.β
βLovely little bed and breakfast in Murrayfield right near the Edinburgh zoo (walking distance), a must see for international travellers. Staff are friendly and incredibly attentive. A simple breakfast is served daily. Rooms are small but comfortable and clean. Although the hotel is outside of Edinburgh main city centre, a bus stop is right outside of the accommodation, making it easy to travel around. Make sure you download the relevant app to figure out which is the right bus to take. Would definitely stay here again when we return to Edinburgh. Great value for money. The hosts were incredibly sweet, which made the trip even more special.β
βThis renovated church is in a nice area of town, and the location itself is very unique/pretty. I can't speak for the shared dorms but the private room I got was perfect for my needs. Shoutout to Ollie at the front desk for being great to talk to and give me and my friend recommendations.β
βVery friendly and helpful staff. Great environment, quiet and clean hostel! I would highly recommend! From my personal experience... PROS - Clean / Helpful staff / plenty of books to read / game cards / mini kitchen where you can cook your own food! / plenty of space in the bathroom. Super safe and everything is just nearby, tram bustations supermarkets restaurant etc... CONS- Some beds and mattresses need to be replaced they're just too old and used up.β
