I was made to feel welcome and cared for as soon as I walked through the door, and Laura and Dave are the nicest possible people you could wish to meet. The studio is absolutely gorgeous, super clean, private, and has the most relaxing atmosphere. Without even mentioning how talented and considerate Laura is as an artist, it was an absolute joy to just sit and chat all day in a such a chilled environment - I completely forgot I was getting tattooed! My husband recently had a new piece by the insanely talented Jay and he's over the moon with it. The studio is super clean, very friendly and the artists are super talented. I wouldn't go anywhere else! The only issue I have is deciding my next piece. Anyone looking for a tattoo book in with Envy I can guarantee you will not be disappointed. “I was looking for a place for my first tattoo in Edinburgh and came across Semper and Joanne. So glad I did, such a great experience and I am so happy with the final result. From the first contact by email, Anna was super helpful, friendly and responsive; to Joanne taking some her concepts to create an abstract design which is amazing and I love. Joanne showed me lots of ideas she had, and loads she created for me. She combined lots of these ideas and used brush strokes directly on my skin which was super cool. She is massively talented and I’m looking forward to getting another tattoo from her. She even gave me a load of the designs to take home, which I plan to frame. Aftercare advice was good and detailed. The studio is very clean, friendly, and looking around it looks like they have lots of talented artists. If you are looking for your first tattoo, or more tattoos I’d fully recommend Semper and Joanne.”

“I’ve had a few piercings done at studio 13 over the past couple of years and Sarah in particular has always been super friendly and welcoming! She was great at explaining the process as well as helping to easing the nerves of getting a piercing. Despite the fact that during my most recent visit, piercing appointments were fully booked for the day I never once felt rushed and felt completely comfortable and reassured the entire process. The studio itself is clean, sterile and well presented and the jewellery they sell has never given me any issues. I simply couldn’t recommend enough!”
