“The last time I was in argos I was looking for a new watch, I had checked out what watches was on the argos website but I decided to go look in argos for my new watch as the website only showed some watches. So the ideal thing is to go into argos and there you would be able to try on the watch and the staff will help you. Where as if you buy on line for your watch it's mostly guess work in will it fit me will it look good etc. So go into argos and let the staff help you with what you want. There is nothing better than speaking to the staff in person, but you can't have a conversation with a website page can you. The staff was most helpful in what I was looking for. A nice place to visit and it's lovely and cool inside away from the hot temperature that's outside. Plus if you visit Argos you could do some shopping in Sainsbury's as well. Sound advice”

“I placed an order in the middle of lock down. It after a few weeks delay and like other reviews a few emails I am guessing because of Covid came. The quality is amazing we are very happy with the set and to be fair they were the only company after a long search that had anything decent in stock. I have read the reviews and yes they were poor on communications & delivery but in all honesty I do believe they are trying their best in these difficult times. I thought I would leave this review as I have a company and I know that some people only leave reviews when something goes wrong. My advise to this company is to contact all of your customers to get them to leave reviews when things go right which I am guessing is most of the time seeing you only have 7 reviews with 50% good meaning you have a low score. I did order from them again I would contact them 1st to confirm the delivery date before buying avoiding any upset. Would have given 4 stars as the delay was a little worrying however I think given everything that is happening it is understandable.”

“Absolutely fantastic service I got from Sunny! Major water damaged laptop which was fixed and ready within 2 weeks, with fast and reliable service. My laptop was quoted as non repairable by many other computer repair shops, but Sunny went that extra mile to get the job done. Great guy too, very friendly and diligent to his job! You can’t find this quality & style in online shops. Neil and the Install Scotland team are incredibly hardworking & technically skilled. They are all very friendly as well! Felt we were in safe hands. Any snags dealt with quickly. Everything done properly no cut corners. I had a very specific idea of what I wanted and they followed my drawings to the millimetre. They gave lots of helpful suggestions drawing on their knowledge. We are very happy customers. They’ve been a big part of transforming our house which has needed fully renovated since we moved in 2 years ago. We will be in touch again for the next project! Thanks again to you all.”

“After struggling to find a reliable company to carry out some plumbing for me. I came across Abbey Services and I'm so glad I did. Yes, they are a bit more expensive than some but that reflects in the quality service. Everything from getting the quote to having the work carried out took less than a week. The chap that arrived to do the work, who's name I have forgotten was in and out in no time having done one of the neatest bits of plumbing I've ever seen. Derek, who dealt with my enquiry and emails was incredibly helpful and even allowed me to pay for the job on the day with when I had mentioned that paying up front made me feel a bit uneasy, however not a concern I'd have again in the future. “A big shout out and huge 'thank you' to the folks at The Paintworks Bodyshop! I left my classic 1978 Mercedes with them for a full re-spray and couldn't be happier with the result. After having been badly burned by another paint shop who did a lousy and over-priced (partial) re-spray on the car, I was very anxious to pick the right people for this big project. I knew that a lot could go awry in the wrong hands. I was looking for someone who had experience in carefully removing and re-assembling lots of chrome and moulding trim without damaging irreplaceable parts, thoroughly sanding down the old paint, treating and repairing potential surface corrosion, and doing an immaculate paint job with a smooth, and even finish (no orange peel effect, etc.). I scouted many paint shops for weeks but finally entrusted my car to Danny and his crew. During this process they were incredibly patient, answering my sheer endless questions and producing test card after test card in the quest for the optimal colour match for this tricky 1970s citrus-green metallic colour. They seemed very competent, had great reviews and gave me a very competitive quote, so I went with them. The day I left my car with them, the shop owner, Jaffer, noticing my slightly worried face, told me that the car was in safe hands and that he would personally make sure that the car would be treated with the greatest care. “Don’t have sleepless nights over this. I will have them for you”, he quipped. And he and his team delivered! Derek did a marvellous job in carefully stripping the car and putting it back together. Danny—a true artist with the paint gun—did such an immaculate, smooth paint job, I couldn’t believe my eyes. It’s clear that no corners were cut, attention to detail was paramount, and everyone who laid hands on the car executed their job with great competence and pride. The same is true for Jaffer and Joanna (who keeps the office a smoothly running machine) who kept me up-to-date about the progress made. I am German. And if you heard stereotypes that Germans are hard-to-please sticklers for details; well, they are mostly true. I was looking for perfection, and got it. I cannot recommend these guys enough! P.S.: The photo doesn't really do it justice. I had to quickly cover up the car given the wintery weather, so just a quick snapshot.”
