“No food served so ignore the food rating i left. The pub is nice, its old and yeah its quiet and laid back, ignore comments about bad atmosphere, only a pub for regulars etc this simply isnt true. You will have no issues if you arent an idiot, yes you will get told off for using ur phone, for swearing, blasting music etc, its a sam smiths pub, thats how they all are and have always been, its not some chav pub, if you cant abide by the well known rules just dont go lmao.”

“Under new management who have cleaned the place up and redecorating the pub which looks amazing. Can't wait to come back in a few weeks and see how its changed x”

“A Pub Reborn – Finally on the Up Again! I used to come to this pub years ago when it had a real buzz about it, but sadly, like many locals, I stopped going when it started to go downhill. The atmosphere faded, service dropped, and the place felt tired and neglected. But what a difference now! I popped in recently out of curiosity and was genuinely impressed. The new manager has clearly taken the reins with purpose and pride. The place looks great — cleaner, brighter, and with a much more welcoming vibe. You can tell there’s been real effort to bring it back to life. The staff seem happier and more attentive, the drinks selection has improved, and there’s a renewed energy in the air. It finally feels like a pub again — not just a stopgap. It’s also nice to see locals slowly returning, and a few fresh faces too. Looking forward to seeing how it keeps improving — it’s well on its way to being the community hub it once was. Hats off to the new management — you’re doing a brilliant job!”

“Newland Steakhouse has quickly become a family favourite! My dad is usually really picky, but both my parents absolutely love it here — which says a lot. I’ve been with friends and family, and every time it’s been incredible. The staff are so welcoming, the food is phenomenal, and the ambience is truly unmatched. You can feel the love and care that’s gone into every detail of this restaurant. A real gem!”

“Excellent customer service today in Browns, friendly, polite and staff knew their product range well, Clarins lady and the perfume counter (lady with a liverpool accent )both were lovely, approachable, knowledgable, offered other ideas when I was not sure. A lovely shopping experience !”

“One of my favourite Nero cafes in the country. I live in Hull but I like to go to Beverly for a walk and shopping. I always prefer to sit there. Quiet place, staff are really nice and coffee is perfect as always. Highly recommended.”

“We had so much fun here!! I was amazed at how well everything here has been done. The HUGE tree trunks and the high and low ropes course is ACE. You go inside and then outside on the course. I'd never done anything like this before and I loved it!! I had a go on the Big Leap too and it's scarier than it looks!! We did the Super Slide too and it was hilarious seeing everyone shoot out the bottom. We took the little ones too - by 1 yr old, then a three and five year old. They had loads of fun in the sandpit, and going in and out of the hobbit holes. The playground is good, and I can't wait for the soft play to open too. I'm sure this is going to be great for the winter months. Really impressed.”

“Popped in last week for lunch. Staff were very polite and friendly. My daughter inlaw and myself had the steak pie which was absolutely delicious ! My son had the burger and really enjoyed it. Would highly recommend . Can't wait for our next visit”

The staff are always attentive and friendly, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality you get. We especially love coming here on Sundays to enjoy a good meal while watching the F1 – the atmosphere is brilliant. Highly recommend!”

“I went today with my friends and it really was a thrilling experience. It was quiet probably because it’s a weekday but I liked how peaceful and beautiful it was. The decoration was sooo beautiful. I’ve never had Turkish food before so it was quite an experience. My friends and I had sooo much funnnnnnnnnn❤️”

“Dave and Chrissie and the staff are so friendly , we booked the function room at very short notice due to our other venue closing cos of covid but it didn't disappoint, lovely big room with plenty of tables and chairs , we all had a great night and will be booking again in the future”

“Arrived late on a Sunday afternoon looking for a cosy Sunday dinner, we were not disappointed. The fish and chips with homemade tartar sauce were delicious and the sea bass was also cooked very well and wonderfully presented The outstanding feature was the service, particularly from Jane who was warm, welcoming and very funny. A lovely experience, we will be back ☺️”

“Amazing food, drink and atmosphere. It was great to sit at the bar and watch what the head chef could produce from such a small space! Everything that came out looked amazing and our charcuterie and cheese board (there were hot meals on the menu, but we didn’t have time) was unbelievable and everything was of the highest quality. “An absolute fantastic bar with a great DJ. The dance floor looked busy, but we found a quiet table near the front and was happy to listen and chair dance. We were staying at a nearby hotel and walked to visit this area and was not disappointed when we found Harry's Bar to finish our lovely night off.”
