“I don’t know where to start from!! The food was AMAZING and the portions were very generous. We ordered multiple dishes however my favourites were the chicken Malay curry and the lemon and cashew rice. The service was absolutely amazing as the staff kept checking on us to make sure the food was okay and we also got offered multiple free chocolate at the end of our meal. We couldn’t finish out main and a staff member helped with packing our food. Overall a great experience and everyone should try it out:))”

“Enjoyed the gorgeous flavours of food from here this evening & it didn’t disappoint! Definitely a 10/10. We ordered via just eat but went & collected & I can’t fault anything! Don’t always order Indian food as my husband cooks quite often, but this is by far the best take out food ever bought.”

“I love this place. My future husband is originally from Scunthorpe, so I have only been visiting Jubraj for 3 years or so. We have never had a bad meal, the service has always been spot on. My last visit was for my Hen Party. There were 9 of us and the staff took everything in their stride. Mo, who was in charge of the front of house was lovely. He was very patient, took everything that was said by 9 very tipsy women in his stride. He sat down with us and chatted to us while we ate. At one point, another couple came in to eat, they were warned there was a hen oarty in, and they joined in with the evening. This is our go to Indian. We highly recommend you come and try it.”

“Wasn't sure what to expect 25 years after our last visit here. Was a regular at Ray's Place back in the 80s and 90s. This was the first visit since moving to West Yorkshire in '96. So glad we came. Staff really friendly and the food was really good. Very tasty and not greasy at all. Brought back lots of fond memories. Thank you to Yusuf and the team for a really nice evening.”

“Living in Brough there are only two Indian restaurants and both of them are very hit and miss. The last time we ordered food from one of them it actually put us off getting an Indian take away for months!!! Then one of our mates recommended Raj Tandoori and the food was absolutely spot on. Really tasty, full of flavour, the meat was fresh, and I really enjoyed every bit of it. The staff were really polite also I will definitely be going again soon.”

“Arriving at the restaurant we were treated by staff straight away. Payment made and we was sent downstairs to the restaurant. There was no queue (easter Sunday 4pm) we were shown straight to our table, explained how the restaurant worked and left to our own devices. There was so much choice, from English food, Chinese, Indian, sushi, Italian. Lots of choice for dessert too. Once plates were finished with, they were taken by the staff immediately. Fresh cutlery was left at the table if you needed them again for another plate of food. There was no limit to the amount of times we could go up and get another plate of food (4 plates later, and feeling fat). Again no limit on dessert, and plenty of choice for everyone. There was no rush for us to leave the restaurant, and by 5, the restaurant was filling up. We were there around 2 hours in total. There was even a robotic machine that delivered drinks to tables. Overall we had a lovely time, and would return to the restaurant again.”

We’ve even tried different Indian restaurants, but nothing compares. The food is always delicious, the atmosphere is cozy, and the staff are fantastic. We’ve definitely become regulars.”

“They say never to eat in a place that’s empty. However if you were to do that with this place you would be missing out. The waiter is friendly and will talk away to you but doesn’t hang about unwanted, just a good balance. The choice is what you would expect but it’s a good selection and fair prices. As for the quality of the food, this is something else, the chicken that I had as so soft that it would just crumble as you went to lift it with the fork, unlike a lot of places you go to where the chicken can be a bit hard or dry this was soft moist and delusions. They had music play in the background at a level that you could hear it but not loud enough to drown out conversation. And the toilets, that one place in any Indian food place that when you go to it can be a hit or miss, well let me just tell you this was one of the best. Not because it was flash or anything like that, or gold plated taps, but for once they had real quality loo roll, you know that one thing if you had something a little to hot to eat that you really just want to have soft to wipe after! Well they had it, and to top it off they even had some air freshener should the person before you (as it’s never you) had something a bit to hot to handle! To sum up, great little place to have an amazing meal, relaxed atmosphere, with a pleasant waiter, fair prices and real toilet roll for that moment you really need it to be soft!”

“Her indoors and myself both have catering backgrounds - so what you may say ? Yes so what ? First time for us with Silsila and you only get one chance to make a first impression. We were going to dine in the restaurant earlier in the week and a very pleasant young lady took the order. When we rang to cancel - as something cropped up last minute, she thanked us for making the effort to call - nice touch from a customer service perspective. Tonight I ordered a takeaway coming back from Leeds and again a friendly young lady took the order and helped me with my choice. Now the important bit - did the food match up to the customer service ? .................you bet it did. Extremely pleased with all the various components of the meals - absolutely delighted all round, good portions, great presentation and fab tastes. Finally, excellent value into the equation. Thank you for a fabulous first experience staff and chef and of course we will be using you again.”
