“Lovely piece of cake, good quality. Staff very friendly and cozy”
“Lovely cafe, our first visit, latte, scone and rocky road shared, very nice, will return. Lovely breakfast menu using quality meats from butcher next door. Indoor and outdoor seating.”
“Lovely staff, really good breakfast and very fair prices. Don’t get ripped off at service stations, come here!”
“I don’t know why anyone wouldn’t give this place five stars. Always kid friendly, smiling faces, delicious food and cakes, seasonal coffees and picnics that the staff clearly put a lot of effort into. I go here a couple times a month - and it’s never let me down!”
“Simple great!! We found this Cafe coincidencally. The breakfast was very delicious and the staff was very welcoming. We will definitely come back.”
“I’ve had breakfast here a few times and each time it was amazing, easily the best breakfast in goole and not too expensive either. I found the small breakfast was more than enough to fill me and I enjoyed the coffee a lot. Only fault was the decor was a little dated which wouldn’t be any issue but it made the furniture like tables and such look a little dirty.”
“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We popped into this café and were really impressed! It’s very dog-friendly, which made us feel welcome straight away. The place was spotlessly clean and clearly well looked after. Prices were very reasonable too — excellent value for money without compromising on quality. A lovely spot to relax, and we’ll definitely be back next time. Highly recommend!”
“What an incredible experience. I have never had anything like it! I had no idea what to expect when I ordered the vegan beef, green pepper and black been, but WOW. The look, the texture the taste was absolutely spot on! The duck and pancakes, spring onions, wontons, all absolutely incredible. This place is a showcase of what you can do without meat! This place is a gem and a MUST go.”
“I’ve been to this steakhouse a few times now, and it never disappoints. I usually go for there early bird special, where they offer 8oz, 16oz, and 32oz steaks at very reasonable prices for such high-quality cuts. The steaks are always cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff are attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Whether you’re in for a quick meal or a leisurely dinner, it’s a great spot for steak lovers. Highly recommend, especially for the early bird with the unbeatable value!”
“Lovely little Vegetarian café which serves good food. It's not a large place so definitely recommend calling to book a table. I had the special 'halloumi stack' which was harissa hummus, tomatoes, halloumi on sourdough drizzle with hot honey and balsamic. It was a lot of food for the price and all the ingredients were really good quality. The halloumi was grilled perfectly, there was a lot of hummus and it all tasted really lovely. It all tasted great, but my mouth was burning afterwards (My fault for not realising that it would be hot, the clues were all there!) My wife had the brioche French toast. This was ok but nothing special. It was not like French toast we've had before, it was more like an omelette with bread, and was very eggy. Did have a good amount of yoghurt and fruit on top though. I also had a latte which was nice and hot with a good coffee taste. We got a cinnamon roll to take away for later which was very nice. Overall we had a great meal with lovely service and I would definitely recommend this place. Note - There is a car park next to the café that you can park in for 1 hour”
“We came to the lemon tree and were blown away by the selection of gluten free options. The food was so tasty and the service was super friendly and the facilities were incredibly clean. I would definitely recommend and if im back in the area I will definitely come back again.”
“Wow, what a place! First, the decor: Tins of chopped tomato line the shelves - more varieties of chopped tomato than I knew existed - and the walls are adorned with both local artwork and stunning relics from the restaurants Marco’s father had owned in Italy. A highlight was a painted plate, depicting Marco’s father and mother as a chef and what can only be described as a seductress (neither depiction accurate, according to Marco) under the watchful eye of Il Passatore - a roguish Italian highwayman and Robin Hood figure. Second, the welcome: Marco is a delightful man. He came and chatted to us. He told us about Il Passatore. He brought us appetisers made with friarelli, a Neapolitan broccoli so nice my colleague left with a jar! He gave us a delicious and very boozy alpine digestif as we left. He is an excellent host and restaurateur! Third, the food: I had a puttanesca pizza - divine. Homemade chilli sauce to dip the crusts - divine. Friarelli and red pesto appetiser - divine. My colleague had a calzone the size of three-year-old. We ate like kings. I cannot recommend a meal at Marco’s enough. I was in Hebden Bridge for only one week. I simply popped in on my lunch break, and was treated to a meal I will remember for years. I left with a Marco’s Cafe T-shirt - the design a collaboration between his daughter’s artwork and Marco’s own AI skills - which I will wear fondly for a long time. Thank you Marco!”
“Great little sandwich shop with an extensive choice on the menu, there’s always something to tempt you and really good service too!”
“We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon tea today at T-post. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Everyone had a lovely smile and warm welcome. Can't fault anything, in fact we can't wait to come back!! A cute little spot that clearly everyone loves. Food was absolutely fantastic, we had our eyes on all the dishes coming out from the kitchen and they all looked amazing! Well done team T-Post!”
“Can't believe it took so long to find here. Can't find any fault food is fantastic will be going here regular from now on! Even gave us drinks we didn't order great service and atmosphere”
“This is the best coffee shop in Leeds. If you are in town and craving a coffee to a very high standard, this is where you should go. I am a resident, coffee nerd, and have tried most of them in the city and surroundings. This is the best and most consistent. Now bear in mind that they have a no laptops policy, so it’s not possible to sit and work in here - I think because having people camping at tables reduces space for people coming and going. It’s very small with limited seating (but more upstairs) - it’s designed to go with a few people or a friend and sit and talk, or for you to get takeaway. Anyway. Best coffee. Thanks for being awesome at what you do and caring about making each cup banging.”
“Called in at 2.30 hoping for food and was greeted with a warm welcome at this family run cafe. Food is cooked to perfection and great value for money. Will definitely be calling in again. Had saus egg and chips and a coffee. Very nice.”
“Capri is one of those places that just feels special the moment you walk in—small, tucked away, effortlessly charming. The atmosphere is warm and intimate, the kind of setting where time slows down and you can truly enjoy the experience. The calamari was spot-on—light, crisp, and full of flavor. But the sea bass? Absolutely stunning. I found myself savoring every single bite, wishing it would never end. Pair that with the lovely ambiance, and the whole evening felt like one of those rare nights where everything just clicks. Without a doubt, I'll be going back.”
“We had a lovely experience here, the atmosphere is great, the food is genuinely amazing, it is all super fresh, authentic and bursting with flavour! Top quality!! The pizza’s are delicious and crisp, and the pasta and meatballs was the best I have had in many years. The staff were great, service was quick despite a full house and I can definitely recommend a visit!! Book in advance as this is a popular place for good reason! We will be back thank you :)”
“We stopped for Pizza at Meanwood Tavern. Great pizza, not Neapolitan like it used to be in Oakwood (fluffy airy bases) but still delicious. We will return”
“Really recommend the food was amazing, especially the truffle fries! Staff are so friendly and helpful and service was quick. The bar is also really nice and does lovely cocktails. Will definitely be going again!”
“I highly recommend this place for burgers and fries! The Frenchie beef burger is absolutely delicious- sweet, juicy and full of flavors.. The fries are crispy with tasty cheese!”
“Lovely experience! We came on a Wednesday evening, quite hungry, and were welcomed so warmly. I had checked the menu in advance and ordered the mezze straight away — it arrived in about ten minutes and was absolutely delicious. The mixed grill was just as amazing. Would definitely come again!”
“Went on a Saturday lunch in a group of 4 so were lucky enough to try most of the menu. Every single thing we had was so tasty! Even the potatoes! One of the best restaurants I've been to in a while. We even got all 5 desserts as we couldn't choose :) only feedback I would give is the homemade crumpet had a little too much cheese on and needed something sharp to balance it. Still an 11/10 will be back! Thank you for a lovely birthday meal!”
“The food is delicious and comes in ample portions and the early bird menu is good value. The decor and ambience are very nice and the service is friendly and efficient. If you like baklava you will love it here.”
“Generous cake portions. We popped in for a slice of cake and drink. I had coconut and mango cake which was lovely and the portions were huge. The coffee was equally delicious. Good value and good service”
“The building has a good atmosphere. The staff are incredibly friendly and eager to explain the food. The food itself is absolutely wonderful. Nothing is overcooked, everything is fragrant and well seasoned. The star of the show was their mint sauce. If they sold it by the bottle, I would buy it weekly. 10/10 would recommend.”
“We tried the new dishes that will be on the menu soon, crab starter, fried calamari and then the Rajistani lamb curry (laal maas ). All were excellent and I highly recommend. And Raju of course was very hospital as always.”
“Well what a hidden gem this is. I visited with 3 friends, one of which has an onion allergy. I gave a couple of weeks notice of this and I was advised that they need at least a weeks notice to cater for an allergy/ sensitivity. However what a good experience we all had. Even the onion allergy person as they were advised of two items on the menu that they couldn't have but everything else was doable. Excellent! The food was homecooked and wholesome and portions are very generous. The service was impeccable with the waitress being friendly and knowledgeable. Overall a great and homely restaurant that I'm sure all four of us will be visiting again (now they know where it is)”
“Always get a good meal here can be busy at times”
