“Delicious home cooked Polish food! The pork stew was really flavourful, with tender meat. The potato dumplings was the right texture and pairs really well with the sauce and stew. The sour rye soup was absolutely delicious. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend!”

“Such a beautiful and attractive place to relax and spend time. There are nice walking areas, interesting architecture, and even the option for a boat trip with the taxi boats. It was really quiet at this time of the year,not crowded at all,I bet during summer there are a lot of people. I bet during summer there's a good variety of restaurants and bars, so everyone can find something to suit their taste and budget,but now the options were quite limited. The dock offers options for spending time outdoors, and exploring the Royal Armouries museum, which is huge and definitely worth a visit. Unfortunately we couldn't visit because it was closed (Monday only). I saw that there are limited options for shopping,comparing with the city centre. Overall,we really liked it and definitely will come back during summer.”

“One of the best pizza places I've been to in the UK, much above Domino's or Pizza Hut! Interior has a relaxed feel and menus are given right away, seating is comfortable too. Had their pizza with anchovies, tomatoes, mozzarella, capers, garlic and oregano these toppings were fresh and just the right combo of tomato sauce with cheese!”

“My new favourite place to eat!! The mixed grill is delicious and perfect for sharing, as are the tea pots (mint is my personal favourite). Everything is quite reasonably priced and you never walk away hungry. Service is always great with friendly and attentive staff. Plus, if you've ever seen Tangled, the decor is very reminiscent of the arty painting room in which is just great. Very charming place, definitely visit if you enjoy Middle Eastern cuisine.”

“Only bobbed by for a quick potato scallop, which came with bits .. bloody amazing. Crispy batter, butter soft potato in the middle , with free bits on top.. rally a meal in itself , but I got one to try and review, and happy i was too. Great value .. absolutely no complaints here worth of 5 stars.”

“Had a lovely meal from the lunch menu. Chose Chicken Skewers to start, Fish and Chips and ended with Sticky Toffee Pudding. All food was very tasty, well presented and enjoyed! Forgot to photograph pudding but it was lush. Service very good and surroundings in restaurant pleasant.”

“I came here after my partner's graduation because it was dedicated gluten free and it did not disappoint! “Having come from Malaysia, this restaurant serves food that’s pretty accurate to how it’s done over there! We especially liked the mee kari and the ABC (very unique dessert!). I left extremely satisfied. One downside was that we had been waiting an hour for the food to come. However the staff were very well aware of this and would assure us that it would come. Another downside was that the portion of the char kuey teow was quite small, and it was similarly priced to the mee kari (pictured). I think with time the service will improve, and it would also be nice to serve a portion that suits the price paid. However, I will come back and I do look forward to it!”

“Nice Decent Place for Food + a Great Variety of Drinks. Been going here for sometime now for drinks or dining and always enjoy our visit. Last two visits I've noticed that the service was not up to the level which it was before for example staff taking time your order or not getting around you regularly to check up if anything needed also even after paying the bill I noticed that table was not cleared for sometime. Don't know if it was because of the less staff or just in general. The venue wasn't busy either. One thing for sure was that food was once again top notch. I'd definitely keep going here and recommend others to try this gem of a place on street lane.”

“Wow..... Food is incredible and amazing service. My steak was so good, cooked to medium and the hake was so well presented. The wine was beautiful but the port was served at the perfect temperature, along with the cheese!”

“Just tried the Tom Yum Soup for the first time, found it really authentic and well handled. REAL THAI FLAVOR! As the same in the Thailand restaurants. Warm hearted staffs and lovely vibe inside. Worth giving a try!”

“Very convenient location in the wharf behind the train station if arriving by train - in fact from one side of the hotel you can see right into the tracks! I had a King room on canal side, extremely clean, quiet and a good bed. Shower has a small step and bathroom a normal door which has pros and cons. Could hear some corridor noise but not disturbing. Reception helpful. Solid breakfast, if not exceptional - good croissants and attentive service. Only caveat maybe on rooms on station side which perhaps could be noisier. Didn't have time to try Sky bar unfortunately. Overall, exceeded my expectations, would recommend.”

“We went on 5th December before seeing Miss Saigon. It was very festive, all tables were taken and the atmosphere was joyous. The staff were excellent, one of our meals didn’t have enough chicken in it. As soon as we raised this with our waiter he apologised and solved the problem. More chicken was presented to our table in good time as we were all still eating. Very reasonably priced and good food for the centre of town and an excellent service”

“Come here near enough once a week and always amazing food, amazing staff and such an inviting atmosphere. Was served by Ellie today who was beyond kind hearted, lovely and welcoming. Really reminded us that there's faith in humanity and kind people in this world. Will be returning to this place until we are old and grey! :)”

“My partner and I fancied a late night Thai takeaway and didn’t expect to find anything open, let alone of decent quality. We were so wrong! The service was fast, the curries were absolutely delicious, and they even kindly threw in an extra rice and prawn crackers. The food was all so fresh and the king prawns are to die for. Definitely found our new local. 10/10 :)”
