“Out for lunch with a colleague, our first visit here. Great choice on the menu, freshly cooked to order, friendly staff and a nice relaxed vibe. Would definitely recommend to others!”
“One of my favorite local cafe in Leeds, it’s located just opposite side our office and they offer 20% to all local authority staff which is another reason to have my coffee from them. Great cozy quiet atmosphere especially if you are working or studying. Nice friendly staff and always welcoming you with a smile. Just to bear in mind that sometimes they get busy and may delay with the order.”
“The iced Spanish latte is spot on! Smooth, creamy, with just the right hit of sweetness alongside the coffee kick. This coffee shop shop is definitely my go to when in Leeds”
“The food was fantastic. Service was impeccable, friendly, efficient, and genuinely welcoming. Prices were more than fair for the quality delivered. This is a restaurant that takes pride in its craft, going above and beyond to exceed expectations. A true standout, wholeheartedly recommended!”
“Great little find, right next door to diggerland. Plenty of choice, friendly staff, very chatty and helpful. Massive choice of drinks and customisation. 20oz xl boy £4.40 (i think). Fresh, hot, decent cup and lid that didn't spill. My new go to before diggerland. Didn't realise they did hot food, I'll try that next time.”
“Great place: amazing variety of drinks, friendly welcome and superb entertainment”
“Visited York for the day and in the excitement, my diabetic mum unfortunately let her blood sugars drop too low so we just had to take a gamble and visit the first place we saw. The ladies that greeted us were very accommodating. Sorted a table straight away and recognised that my mum needed help and grabbed her an apple juice right away which helped loads which we were very grateful for. The food was amazing, one of the best toasties I’ve had in a long time and the iced coffee was also very nice. Thank you again for helping us out.”
“Have been for brunch a few times, and this place hasn't disappointed. Wide selection of options, good portion sizes, and friendly service. Will look forward to coming back to try the flatbreads.”
“Parlormade is always busy every time I visit — and for good reason! Their scones are delicious, and the cheesecake is absolutely amazing. I love this place so much and always end up taking some home!”
“Thank you Alia for being so lovely to our party. We dined for lunch 21/12/25. Friendly, yummy and a lovely atmosphere”
“The cafe is amazing the food is wonderful and the whole staff are amazing. We just live up the road and pop in with my partner and have never been anything but amazed and impressed. Mellisa needs special note her infectious upbeat nature makes every visit a special one and she in my parters words makes the cafe. Once again massive thanks to all the staff.”
“Great service and lovely food. Would definitely recommend the breakfast bars... I just love their mushrooms, sausage, spam and egg! Prices are good and you can pre order to collect”
“Best veggie brekkie in ages, good food, home made hash browns, really nicely cooked mushrooms, everything was quick, well cooked fresh and hot. Nice place to sit too, pleasant fella behind the counter, obviously regulars coming in which is a good sign. Will be back!”
“Relaxing veggie cafe with good options for lunch. Had the small vegan breakfast plate, great value and selection of tasty food, small plate was sufficient! I liked the community atmosphere and very handy for the train station. And friendly service there too!”
“Lovely little cafe nestled in Selby. The food is excellent and great value for money. Adaptations to orders were considered and executed exactly as requested. Friendly and prompt service too. I will be back!”
“Wondering around the town looking for somewhere that appealed and once we went in and saw the menu we were sold! Large menu with lots of items, but what appealed to us was the crepes/waffles. We got an apple crumble crepe which was amazing! Big portion with loads of amazing tasting apple (that they bake themselves), plenty of toffee sauce and cream. We've had crepes before from other restaurants but this is definitely the best one we've ever eaten. Service was really nice and we will definitely be back for another crepe next time we're in the area! There are plenty of places in town that serve coffee and cakes, so they really should be advertising more strongly that they do crepes and waffles as that will bring more people in.”
“Nice tea and coffee. I tried the berries blackcurrant tea, very good❤️ and the smoked salmon sandwich (GF bread of course!) was delicious. We tried the soup of the day (red pepper and courgette) was really good too. Nice attention and we sat outside at the back so was more enjoyable. Hope to come back soon ✨”
“We come here every time we are in the area. It’s never disappointed us with a great selection of freshly cooked food. Whether it’s full English or their selection of home made pies, unusual salads, sandwiches and even cream teas - they do the lot. Great food, great value and lovely atmosphere - it’s a winning formula. What’s more you can walk or cycle to/from here along the Rochdale canal path. Perfect.”
“Fantastic food served by wonderful family and great staff. Exceptional service with a smile. Check out their chicken paninis, fresh samosas & fluffy jacket potatoes. Seating inside & take out available. A fabulous variation of tastes 10/10”
“Went to see Beauty and the Beast ~ what a wonderful new take on this traditional story. An "unknown story" ..... Great storytellers for a different story. Our first time at Goole Junction Theatre, will definitely not be our last.”
“The food is well cooked and taste georgous. The staff are very friendly and provides a good service, there's lots of choices to choose from and everything is cooked to perfection.”
“Really lovely hidden gem. Great service and great food. I stopped here alone on a busy lunch time accommodating a bite to eat. Really lovely food and great cup of tea. I also took a coffee out to try the coffee and not bad at all. Thank you”
“This is a tiny cafe above a bookshop. Both are queer spaces, full of flags, acceptance and super friendly staff. I can highly recommend the bi passionfruit cake. The cafe is a meeting place for young people who identify as LGBTQ+, so if you have an issue with them you're not at all welcome here. This cafe is absolutely perfect for students but, to reiterate, it is very small!”
“Saved my life during the birth of my child at the hospital next door with a 4 day induction of labour. Excellent sandwich. I don't know if it was sleep deprivation or what but the brown sauce will always live in my memory (I reckon it was just daddies).”
“I have been going to Darios for many years now. Am absolutely fantastic takeaway with amazing food. Highly recommended”
“A nice little cafe with friendly staff, good prices and tasty coffees”
“Great independent coffee place in the heart of Ossett town. The hot chocolate was chocolatey (I know it sounds daft but unfortunately not many places get it right!), delicious and was just the right amount of sweet. They have a large selection of cakes as well if required.”
“Only had cake, coffee and toasted currant tea cake, I can't comment on their other food. However what we had was lovely and the coffee is great, always our first choice for coffee in the area. The staff are lovely and service great, what more can you want.”
“When I manage to pop in, it is always so friendly. Food is so nice and I have always found it decent priced. The sheepherdpie is banging”
“I went Jo's Cafe this morning after a lovely walk from Luddenden down the Canal toward Hebden Bridge ... it was open bright and early 8.30am (Winner) and the full English was just what I needed. The local Farmer turned up while I was there with Milk and Eggs (very traditional) the regulars visited (always a good sign) the staff were lovely (one was named Emily) I would highly recommend. What a great place.”
