“I stayed here for my first ever trip overseas, and this is my first time booking into a hotel. Amazing experience. At this hotel. Originally got there at 9 am and I thought I could check in early. Because my flight came in at 8. And I thought I could check in early. The reception said i can’t check in yet it’s too early but she held my suitcase and kept it safe for me when I went outside and explored Leeds city centre. I came back when I was closer to my time the chicken. I got my suitcase and checked into my room. .It’s a good hotel room nice and spacious. It’s exactly like an apartment you have everything you need like a microwave washing machine dishwasher stuffed top pots and pans etc. and they even give you dishwashing liquid. I know really beautiful of you. the bed was like the most comfiest hotel bed I’ve ever slept in. I also did enjoy the croissants and coffee in the morning in the reception. Those very nice not to have to buy breakfast every morning,. As a solo female traveller, I felt very safe staying at this hotel. So I recommend coming here. You are very close to the city centre like a 17 minute walk if you don’t want to walk you can also take the bus that’s only a minute walk from the hotel. I’m definitely coming back to this hotel if I come back to Leeds.”
“This place definitely needed some love, but has been bought recently and had a refresh which is great! Birthday party here has been great, food was still warm for the kids which you don't often get at soft play parties. Kids had a great time”
“Cool little cafe on the back road through town. Definitely worth stopping at for a coffee AND a sandwich, specifically the tomato pesto mozzarella toasty which was fantastic. I also got a lemon meringue cronut to take away and had it for supper… made the mistake of sharing it with my other half, should have snaffled it all on my own, it was brilliant. Good cafe, cool guy running the counter, nice food. Go in.”
“Excellent coffee and a great selection of homemade cakes. Highly recommend.”
“Excellent service! Nice people around and great food and coffe! I really recommend.”

“Absolutely love this place. One of my favorite places to stay in the world. Rooms are clean, neat, and contemporary and they left me a lovely basket of food in the room. I really liked the treehouse feel of the rooms on the upper levels.”
“Love, love, love this place! Jamie is lovely and takes pride in all his food! Very well priced too!”
“Lovely little find, and really good to see a cafe set up for accommodating cyclists, who are able to park their bikes on a rack just inside the cafe. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere and decor. Loved the bench seating and cushions .. I do like nice tables and seating .. walked past loads of cafés today which didn't tick those boxes for me! Hence my delight at this find :-) Food great and the bacon butty and hot drink deal was really nice and great value at £6. Chai latte and fruit crumblejack cake also highly recommended. Will definitely visit again :-)”
“Good environment and coffee not bad. Pastry quite good and special. To me, my almond croissant with almond cream inside is good. Downstairs quite good for small chatting but not accessible for wheelchair. Worth a visit with colleagues or friends.”
“Called in at 2.30 hoping for food and was greeted with a warm welcome at this family run cafe. Food is cooked to perfection and great value for money. Will definitely be calling in again. Had saus egg and chips and a coffee. Very nice.”
“My daughter and I had so much fun today at Cloud 9 - we can't wait to go back. I was so impressed with the service from Shelley and Kayleigh (sorry if your names are spelt incorrectly). They even made a drink for my daughter that wasn't on the menu. We didn't mind being guinea pigs and my daughter said it was incredible. They were so friendly and welcoming. The spaces available to play in are a perfect size and both my daughter and I loved the variety of areas. They have an ample sized softplay with multiple slides and tunnels and a ball pit at the end of one of the slides. It also has a mini ball pit and a few sensory areas dotted around. They also have a room filled with books, small toys, a wooden castle, mini picnic bench, trains and tracks, a piano (our favourite) and houses containing lizards and a turtle. My daughter loved watching the lizards skitter about. Plenty of seating with lots of food and drink options for little ones and grown ups too. Baby change/toilet facilities are really spacious, super clean and tidy. As I said we cannot wait to go back and take some friends with us next time. Thank you Cloud 9.”
“A beautiful and perfectly formed little café (although there is also an upstairs) serving excellent food (the bacon sandwich was divine!). The decor is so unique and the ladies could not have been more accomodating, friendly and welcoming as I needed a charging point for my laptop to do some work as well as a bite to eat and drink. The coffee is hot, fresh, delicious and everything is sensibly priced. An absolute gem of a café, if you're in Elland make sure you stop off, you will not be disappointed. Thanks again for your lovely hospitality ☺️”
“We visited yesterday and both had the mill stack breakfast with a cappuccino each. The breakfast was delicious. Good fresh produce. Cooked to perfection. The coffee was delicious we even took one home. The Staff were fabulous really friendly. The cafe was very busy a tell tale sign that it’s a good place to go. We will definitely be back. Thank you Millstack.”
“Lovely tea room/coffee shop just off the main street near Riley Hall... Stopped for late breakfast here. The staff were very efficient and friendly. Got seated upstairs in a lovely room and had crumpets and tea. Delicious, we will be back.”
“I was there this morning for a sausage and egg sandwich and a cup of tea. Very happy with everything and will definitely be back.”
“Really enjoyed the coffee and wrap. Good portions and quite a reasonable price. Especially for the city centre. Friendly staff too. Can get very busy at times with staff from neighbouring offices.”
“Nice to see this place after many years. My uncles bakery used to be where this cafe is, back in the 1970s/1980s. Spend many hours in the apartment above the shop, where they used to live.”
“I highly recommend this cafe. Food was great and service was fantastic. Plenty of seating. Lovely place to meet with family and friends. A great vegan breakfast.”
“Gaynor and her partner put a fantastic buffet on for my 30th Birthday party, so many portions and variety to choose from will definitely have them again thank you”
“Lovely breakfast the best in town”
“Lovely owners, mature couple who have worked hard and maintained a traditional cafe in Huddersfield. The food is nice, very old school decor but great for quick brunch and scoot. I wish the owners all the best with there future plans :)”
“Went there for breakfast and had a great experience. The restaurant feels nice and cozy and the owner was friendly and welcoming.”
“Very busy on weekends, can get a little crowded.. however the service is fast. Staff welcoming and friendly. Nice looking bar and they have great selection of drinks!”
“Bought a hot chocolate to take out. Really friendly service and lovely hot chocolate. Nice little cafe with sufficient seating and good food options.”
“I received outstanding service from Jacob! I got my order wrong, and he just was so amazing in how he handled the situation. Its 'people' that make a place and the service perfect! I work close by, so will keep coming back! Thank you Jacob for being #awesome”
“Great food and very welcoming staff”
“This gorgeous, friendly little cafe is our 'go-to' meet up place any given Monday lunchtime for me and my girl friends. A number of ex-work colleagues regularly join us too. Even before the craziness of the current situation, the conscientious staff went above and beyond to make sure all furniture and floors are clean, tables are cleared and their clients are comfortable. It's a shame to have to post this review because once everyone finds this little gem of a cafe (with super cakes, buns and other goodies) we will likely find it hard to hold onto our regular spot tucked away in the corner! Well done chaps”
“A lovely big Starbucks - perfect stop in on my way into town or the train station. Staff always have time for you and are so friendly - Mona in particular is amazing and brings such a joy to the place!”
